Rajathi Samsudeen, popular as Salma (1968-), writer of The Hour Past Midnight (2009) originally published in Tamil as Irandaam Jaamathin Kadai (2004) hails from Tamil Nadu. Her shocking and ground-breaking The Hour Past Midnight exposes the salient realities of conservative Muslim society, where women do not have decision-making rights. The story is laden with poignant women characters who dwell in stigmatised and patriarchal surroundings. They know Fundamental, Personal, and Family rights but cannot access them. As Salma was head of the panchayat, still she could not save herself from the violent threats of the orthodox Muslim society. The Hour Past Midnight has versatile characters, such as Rabia, Madina, Zohra, Rahima, Firdaus, Amina, Nuramma, etcetera. Everyone fights for their existence and adjustments according to the laws and codes of Islam. Some failed, whereas some survived, some died while some still struggling. The novel not only shows women characters as fragile beings but also how they rebelled and why they failed. The exhausting idea behind reading and writing a paper on The Hour Past Midnight is to know and share about the plight of Muslim Women, their dehumanizing conditions, and their violation of Rights at a broader level. Other prominent works of Salma are The Curse Stories (2020), Women, Dreaming (2020), I, Salma: Selected Poems (2023), and others.

Abstract: Background :- Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the world, and upper limb hemiparesis is a primary impairment resulting in this disability. In previous studies it has been found that modified constraint induced movement therapy and weight bearing exercises is used to improve upper extremity function in stroke patients. The purpose of this study is to determine which technique is more effective in improving the upper extremity function in stroke patients. Aim :- Effect of modified constraint induced movement therapy versus weight bearing exercises on upper extremity function in stroke patients. Objective :- To study effect of modified constraint induced movement therapy on upper extremity function in stroke patient. To study effect of weight bearing exercises on upper extremity function in stroke patient. To compare effect of modified constraint induced movement therapy versus weight bearing exercises on upper extremity function in stroke patient. Method :- This study included 20 stroke patient. Each group consisted of 10 patients. Group A received Modified Constraint Induced Movement Therapy who wore told to wear mitten for 4 hours in a day and for 1 hour varied exercise like picking up marbles, stacking rings, picking up balls, flipping cards were practiced. Group B received weight bearing exercises like prone on elbow, prone on hand, quadruped, sitting, standing. CONCLUSION : As per the result and analysis, Mcimt have shown better results in improving upper extremity functions as compared to weight bearing

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are fundamental to the Indian business landscape. Their contribution to the Indian economy is highly valued. MSMEs not only create job opportunities but also motivate individuals with lower skill levels to pursue entrepreneurship. This research paper aims to examine the significance of MSMEs in the Indian economy during the period of 2020-2021, focusing on employment generation and the estimated number of these enterprises. The current study utilizes the annual report of MSMEs for 2020-2021, employing Ms-Excel to create tables and charts for analysis. Findings indicate that the MSME sector is crucial for the growth and development of the Indian economy, providing employment opportunities in both rural and urban settings. Additionally, the study highlights the leading industries within the MSME sector, along with estimates of employee numbers and the total count of MSMEs. Limitations and recommendations for future research are also addressed in the paper.

"Manage the books you have. Read them carefully. Swim in them until they bore you. Read and read again...digest them. Let them enter you. Read a good book several times and make notes and analysis on it. The student will find that his state of mind is more influenced by one well-considered book than by twenty books that he has only promised. A little learning and a lot of pride come from speed reading. Some men cannot think because they put aside meditation for reading. When reading, your motto should be "not much". - Charles H. Spurgeon, Lectures to My Students The habit of reading is the necessary and most important quality in this world to create a good reading society. It gives insight into a person's actions and helps them develop good thinking techniques and generate new information. This paper tries to reflect on the reading habits of students in Bikaner City, Rajasthan and find out the trends in their reading habits. The purpose of the work is to find out the results of the widespread use of the Internet and other alternative multimedia resources on reading habits and to obtain a comprehensive overview of current reading habits

Abstract Entrepreneurship is essential to advancing both economic and social development by generating employment opportunities and meeting social demands. An increase in entrepreneurial activities can strengthen a nation's economic foundation. The Indian government has launched several initiatives to encourage and support entrepreneurship in the past decade. The fact that 65.12 percent of the 80,50,819 businesses owned by female entrepreneurs are in rural areas, as opposed to 34.88% in urban areas, which indicates that women are notably more common in rural areas. In January 2003, the Government of India gave Himachal Pradesh an industrial package of incentives that significantly accelerated the state's industrialization and changed the state's economic landscape. However, there are difficulties, especially for the rural women in the Himalayan region, due to various socio-economic, demographic, and other factors. Therefore, this study is an effort to investigate various challenges rural women entrepreneurs face in Himachal Pradesh, India. Additionally, it highlights the remarkable actions taken by the rural Indian women entrepreneurs in Himachal Pradesh to transform challenges into opportunities. It would also reveal how their business ventures have given them more significant influence and improved their standing in the community.

The COVID-19 pandemic triggered an economic downturn comparable to the 2007-2009 Global Financial Crisis, challenging the resilience of global financial markets. This study explores the factors that enabled financial markets to recover despite significant disruptions. It identifies key resilience drivers, such as advancements in trading technologies, rapid government interventions, and shifts in investor behavior. Analyzing market volatility, liquidity, and investor behavior from 2020 to 2021, the paper concludes with recommendations to bolster future market resilience, including a comparative analysis of the pandemic's initial and subsequent waves.

Micro finance is a type of baking service, which provides the small business loan to unemployed or low income individuals or groups who have no other source to access financial services. Much micro finance institution focus on helping women in particular. One of such leading financial institutions is Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP). SKDRDP plays very important role in motivating women to join SHGs and contribute for the upliftment of women by providing technical guidance, training, financial support etc. SHGs are self managed groups of poor which primarily came into existence to mobilize the financial recourses through their own savings and lend the same against themselves to meet the credit needs of their members. This paper analyses the role of SKDRDP in women empowerment through micro finance.
