 Abstract

Herpes Zoster (HZ) is caused by varicella zoster virus (VZV) due to reactivation of latent virus from dorsal root ganglia or cranial nerve ganglia. This occurs in up to 15% of individuals following varicella infection, frequently in adults, and the latent period varies from several weeks to years. 1 Disseminated herpes zoster is defined as at least 20 vesicles in multiple dermatomes. In particular, it has been reported mainly in patients with immunological defects who are at increased risk for visceral involvement of VZV infection, which may affect vital organs such as the brain, liver and lungs. These patients are at increased risk for diagnostic delay and morbidity in the absence of high clinical suspicion for disseminated HZ. 2 Human immunodeficiency virus infections, chronic infections, primary immunodeficiency syndrome, and immunosuppressive therapy are important causes of disseminated herpes zoster. Herein, we report a case series of disseminated herpes zoster infection.

 Abstract

Christie's lack of emotive Crescendos helps to mask her casual droppings of crucial clues in the complex games she plays with readers. These obscure yet purposeful droppings of the clues never let everything out of the box, but are held in by the detective. However, the reader is engaged in being part of the 3 kinds of deductions in the novel- Reader, Narrator, and Detective. Agatha Christie's strategic placement comes into light to scrutinize the tiniest to the largest clues provided, catapulting all the accumulated stories surrounding the characters, resulting in the reader's helplessness in finding the true culprit, however, one can never downplay her dramatic 'RoundTable', the most perfect dramatic endings stage.

 Abstract

Secondary cardiac tumors remain a severe and relatively rare pathology but belong to a rapidly expanding field of cardio oncology. They constitute a highly heterogeneous group of pathologies whose clinical manifestations vary according to tumor size and location. These tumors are typically associated with advanced stages of the primary tumor and therefore have a poor prognosis. We report 2 cases of secondary cardiac tumors, the 1st a cardiac metastasis of a primary mediastinal sarcoma and the 2nd a uterine leiomyosarcoma. In these 2 cases, we will review the clinical presentation of cardiac metastases and discuss the mode of dissemination, depending on the primary location. Through a review of the literature, we also take stock of the evolutionary and therapeutic modalities of cardiac metastases.

The study's objective is to determine social media's influence on the fashion industry. Social media in the fashion industry refers to the use of social media platforms by fashion designers and users to promote and participate in trends. Over the past several decades, the development of social media has increased along with its usage by consumers. During COVID-19 social media has come more into the picture and created new advertising channels for fashion-oriented houses to reach their target markets. Since its surge in 2009, luxury fashion brands have used social media to build interactions between the brand and its customers to increase awareness and engagement. The emergence of influencers on social media has created a new way of advertising and maintaining customer relationships in the fashion industry. Numerous social media platforms are used to promote fashion trends, with Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube being the most popular among Generation Y and Z. The overall impact of social media in the fashion industry included the creation of online communities, direct communication between industry leaders and consumers, and criticized ideals promoted by the industry through social media.
