Abstract: Lafora disease is a progressive myoclonus epilepsy due to mutations in Laforin and Malin genes, with no substantial genotype- phenotype differences. Founder effects and recurrent mutations are common, and mostly Isolated to specific ethnic groups and/or geographical locations. Pathologically, LD is characterized by distinctive polyglucosans, which are formations of abnormal glycogen. Polyglucosans, or Lafora bodies are typically found in the brain, periportal hepatocytes of the liver, skeletal and cardiac myocytes, and in the eccrine duct and apocrine myoepithelial cells of sweat glands. Mouse models of the disease and other naturally occurring animal models have similar pathology and phenotype. Hypotheses of LB formation remain controversial, with compelling evidence and caveats for each hypothesis. However, it is clear that the laforin and malin functions regulating glycogen structure are key. We performed an open label, prospective study of 4 patients aged between 20 and 35 years with mutation. The disease course is progressive and fatal, with death occurring within 10 years of onset. Antiepileptic drugs are mostly non-effective, with none having a major influence on the progression of cognitive and symptoms.

The following research paper takes a look at Indian income inequality problem in the broad contours of human development, regional development, and sustainable development apart from the GDP. It also demonstrated the potency of information technology, finance, and telecommunications on GDP and at the same time, the importance of agriculture in creating employment. Regional differences are also very prominent with southern and western states showing higher per capita income and better facilities than the northern and eastern states. Consideration is given to how environmental sustainability, inflation, unemployment and education, and health care have influenced or will influence unidentified income inequality. The study discovers that the income distribution of the country reveals that 10 percent of the population possesses more than 70 percent of the total income and thereby contributes toward increasing the economic and social disparity. The policy suggestions entail revenue reform, the use of taxation that is progressive, UBI, education investment, and subsidizing of healthcare, labor market policies, and financial access. The paper uses the concept of successful stories from other countries to compare and recommend policies that can be employed that address issues related to income inequality and promote equity in India's economic development framework

This paper examines the role of jocularity and absurdity in the works of Sukumar Ray, with a particular focus on the collection of his limerick verse, Abol Tabol, as a technique to British colonialism and its footprint on the socio-political scenery of colonial India. By using postcolonial theorists such as Homi K.Bhaba and Spivak, this research explores Ray's use of hybridity and the combining of the Western category with native literary tradition as a tool for challenging the colonial power dynamics. Ray's selection of nonsense as a mode of expression for social remark is scrutinized in terms of its capacity to delicately comment on present-day social order while also illuminating the brutal dominative power of the British colonizers and the ill-treatment of colonized peoples. Through a detailed study of Ray's use of language, nonsensical words, puns, and wordplay, Abol Tabol serves as a powerful tool for social commentary. Ray uses a metasense approach, which develops the parody into sincere literature, putting light on the exploitative nature of British rule and the urgency for decolonization. The analysis also focuses on Ray's use of satire to condemn the Bengali Babu of the time and their blind devotion to their British masters.

This study investigates the adoption of online education platforms for skill development among working professionals in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. The research aims to understand the influence of key factors such as Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions on the adoption of these platforms. A quantitative research design was employed, using a structured questionnaire distributed to 200 working professionals across various sectors, including information technology, education, healthcare, and manufacturing. The questionnaire measured the respondents' perceptions of the aforementioned constructs on a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, normality tests, and regression analysis to assess the relationships between the constructs and their impact on the adoption of online education platforms. The findings reveal that all proposed hypotheses were supported, demonstrating that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions significantly influence Behavioural Intention, which in turn, strongly predicts actual use behaviour. Performance Expectancy was identified as the most influential factor, underscoring the importance of emphasizing the practical benefits and outcomes of online education platforms. The study also highlights the necessity for user-friendly interfaces, the role of social influence through peer recommendations, and the importance of adequate support systems in facilitating adoption.

Millets or nutria-cereals are high-energy foods which are domesticated and cultivated. Millet are the small- seeded grains, which belongs to the gramineae and poaceae families, is used worldwide for food and fodder. India is the largest producer country in the world, contributing 20% of the total production in 131 countries across the world. As a breakfast cereal, millets are a fantastic choice. They are gluten-free grains that offer a range of health benefits. The modern sedentary lifestyle associated with several health issues has people to seek for healthy and nutritious diets and small millets satiate these requirements of modern society by being a healthy food choice because millets are a storehouse of nutrients. Foxtail millet and Finger millets along with mung bean were incorporated with basic porridge ingredient like oats and spices such as cinnamon and cardamom were also added to it. The product has made and checked for the consumer acceptability by sensory evaluation. Sensory evaluation is the scientific discipline which used to quantify the acceptable level of the product. For that Hedonic scale rating test was done by using amount of 25 random people in the university including semi-trained and untrained panel members. The panel members were advised to rate the small portion sample by tasting and observing the product. The rating was done for the parameters such as appearance, colour, taste, aroma and overall acceptability.

Now a days people spend their most of the time overthinking and are not attentive in many situations such as while driving, in classrooms, studying, flying airplane and many other situations. Therefore, we can make them alert then they can increase their attentiveness and be cautious and avoid risks. This task of alerting an individual to be attentive can be achieved with the help of analysis of EEG signals. The EEG signals are collected from the scalp of human brain. The part of human brain from where we collect these signals is called as frontal cortex. This part of brain generates signals which can give us the accurate value of attention level of our brain. These EEG signals are generated as activity of neurons and it is measured in volts The attentive state of an individual is predicted by using the raw EEG signals and processing by techniques like denoising which include FIR filter, Wavelet Transform and Hilbert Transform, feature extraction, feature selection and classification techniques like SVM, Tri layered Neural Network and Medium KNN available in MATLAB. Therefore, using these EEG signals we can efficiently train our algorithm to classify the state of human being as attentive or non - attentive.

Language is a kind of system used for communication in which words are combined to give relevant information. It is used to express inner and outer thoughts, feeling and emotions. It helps to share information, to get good and sources and also to maintain culture. The aim of the present study is to find out the role of NEP-2020 in the advancement of Indian Languages and also to make out the strategies and methodologies suggested by NCF for languages Education at various phases of school. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has recommended that the means of teaching for schools upto at the minimum Grade-5, but more desirable till Grade-8 should be mother tongue or regional language. Every learner will learn three languages in their school under the 'formula'. It was considered that two out of three languages should be local languages. This policy want to abandon English Language and prefers the multilingualism which has a significant analytical value for learners. English is a global language. It is widely spoken all over the world after Chinese and Latin. It is one of the official languages of around 67 countries throughout the world. English is the highly spoken language in India. It is being taught in various forms, as EFL (English as a foreign Language), ESL (English as a Second Language) and EAP (English as an Additional Language). The present study helps us to understand the role of English Languages in NEP 2020.

This study is premised on the increasing relevance of intellectual property rights and the concomitant growth of intellectual property law. This trend is likely to continue and intellectual property rights will be increasingly affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence, despite the assumption that certain intellectual creations are not intended to be used in such situations. It is important to protect these rights so that they are not lost through disregard or ignorance during times of war. On the other hand, there may be circumstances in which it is in the interest of humanity that intellectual property rights be limited or overridden to facilitate the flow of information or to ensure that necessary products are available at affordable prices. To strike an appropriate balance it is important to understand the relations between intellectual property rights and international humanitarian law from both protective and derogatory viewpoints. Furthermore, the application of intellectual property rights has the potential to both alleviate or aggravate a conflict situation or the suffering of victims, and understanding how this can be either avoided or encouraged is crucial.
