The report examines the impact of IPOs on corporate finance and growth strategies in India's manufacturing sector. It focuses on recent IPOs, highlighting the gap in literature on the specific financial impacts of IPOs on this sector. The study reveals significant changes in financial performance, particularly in profitability, efficiency, and leverage ratios. IPOs generally improve profitability and operational efficiency, but also increase leverage. This highlights the importance of strategic financial management post-IPO to maximize benefits against potential risks. The findings are useful for manufacturing firms considering initial public offerings and contribute to the current understanding of the financial implications of going public. The report uses descriptive statistics and T-tests to analyze financial data, identifying significant differences in profitability, efficiency, and leverage ratios. The analysis provides actionable insights into how manufacturing firms can strategically manage their finances post-IPO to optimize growth and minimize risks.

The relationship between education and happiness is complex and multifaceted, with education serving as a crucial component in fostering individual and societal well-being. This paper explores various perspectives on happiness and education, focusing on philosophical, psychological, economic, religious, biological, and educational aspects. It highlights the interconnectedness of happiness with virtue, success markers, religious traditions and genetics. The paper reveals theoretical frameworAks that shed light on the beneficial impact of happiness on educational outcomes and experiences. Furthermore, it advocates for models that promote a paradigm shift towards prioritizing the emotional and social development of children alongside their academic learning. Additionally the paper highlights critical summary and future research should explore the long-term impacts of happiness interventions, the effectiveness of pedagogical approaches in promoting well-being, and the role of technology in supporting socio-emotional development in virtual learning environments. Ultimately, continued research in this area can inform evidence-based practices that enhance both educational outcomes and individual well-being across diverse cultural and socioeconomic contexts.

This study concentrates on examining the perception of Indian citizens of different religions on uniform civil code between the age group of 20 to 60 from the sociological perspective. On the basis of the idea of a single nation, citizens are required to abide by uniform laws. There is no tribal government in India. All Indians are guaranteed equal rights under our constitution, which fosters national cohesion and health. India's multireligious populace has a wide range of customs and beliefs around adoption, inheritance, divorce, and marriage. The goal of the proposed Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is to give everyone, regardless of religion, access to a worldwide legal framework. It seeks to substitute generally applicable laws for the current personal laws. The Idea of a unified civil code has long been discussed and disputed in India. It is imperative to acknowledge that many viewpoints exist within every religious community, and there are outliers. Disparities in social status, level of education, and urban/rural location can all affect how people view the UCC. Different religious communities' perceptions of the Uniform Civil Code are influenced by political narratives, public debate, and media portrayals. The intense intellectual discourse in these talks highlights the problem's continued complexity within the multireligious setting of India.

Water weeds are found to be increasing the biological oxygen demand of ponds and lakes, hence their presence in the water bodies is becoming a matter of concern. In recent years few researchers have reported production of biodiesel and removal of heavy metal ions from water bodies by the famous water weed Eichhornia carssipes. Due to absence of industrial effluents in the Dantaramakki kere of Chickmagalur we found it interesting to carry out the anthelmintic screening of few non polar solvent soluble and few water soluble extracts of E. carssipes. We report in this paper even the results obtained by the water sample analysis of the pond.

The water insoluble alkaloid extracts of the tubers of water hyacinth were extracted and tested for their anthelmintic properties. The anthelmintic activity was carried out against Pherithuma posthuma with 50 mg dose of the crude alkaloid sample. The aqueous extracts were also tested for potential activity against helminthiasis. The results are discussed in this paper

Credit card fraud detection is a system that detects and prevents fraudulent transactions before they cause financial harm. Credit card fraud refers to fraudulent activities involving payment cards, such as credit or debit cards. It can include physical theft, electronic interception, and online transactions. As credit card usage increases, financial fraud and scams increase, leading to significant losses for banks and customers. Credit card fraud detection is essential to protect users from financial loss, and these approaches help increase the security of financial transactions. Fraud detection and prevention help maintain trust in the payment system. Consumers trust credit cards for their convenience and security. Credit card fraud data is highly unbalanced, with few fraud cases. Extract relevant features from the dataset. Some common features include transaction amount, time of day, and location. Randomly remove instances from the majority class (valid transactions) to balance the dataset. Create synthetic instances of minority class (unauthorized transactions) to balance the data. Advanced algorithms and machine learning techniques analyze transaction data in real time. Credit card fraud detection based on machine learning (ML) such as Decision Tree (DT), Logistic Regression (LR), K- Nearest Neighbour (KNN) algorithms. The choice of machine learning algorithms and the performance of the evaluation metrics used are important factors that influence the accuracy of machine learning algorithms.

Eichhornia carssipes commonly known as water hyacinth has been reported to be a wild water weed and possess detoxification effect. Few reports have shown the extracts of the plant to possess antifungal and antibacterial activities. In this paper we are for the first time reporting the anthelmintic activity of three alkaloids extracts and four non-alkaloid extracts. The three alkaloid extracts were obtained by three different methods which were different in appearance and yield. The results were promising and discussed in this paper.

Staff turnover in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels, remains a persistent challenge with significant implications for organizational performance and service quality. This paper delves into the complexities of this phenomenon, aiming to uncover its underlying causes, consequences, and potential solutions. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, this research seeks to shed light on the factors contributing to high turnover rates among hotel staff, including job dissatisfaction, low morale, inadequate compensation, and limited opportunities for career advancement. Additionally, it explores the ripple effects of staff turnover on organizational effectiveness, guest satisfaction, and overall reputation. By understanding the multifaceted nature of turnover in the hospitality sector, this study aims to provide valuable insights and practical strategies for hotel management to mitigate turnover rates, enhance employee retention, and ultimately foster a more stable and productive workforce.
