Good Governance is the key to a nation's progress. The desirability of good governance is beyond dispute. The concept of good governance serves two-fold purposes. First, from people's point of view, it ensures their freedom in a society established on rule of law. Second, from government point of view, it regulates their functions and make the government disciplined and thereby makes a restricted or limited government. It's also undisputable that Judiciary has played an important role in ensuring good governance by making the other organs of the government to adhere to the principle of good governance. But it's equally important the Judiciary must equally adhere to the same standards of good governance. For an independent and impartial judiciary, it is important that the judiciary strictly follow the principles of good governance. In this paper the author has examines the principles of good governance and judicial independence. The author further explains that how accountability which is an essential component of good governance is must for an independent and impartial judiciary. At the end the paper concludes that good governance and judicial independence are complimentary and supplementary to each other.

Banking sector is one of the fastest growing sectors and been one of the most preferred avenues of employment in India. Today's banking sector is becoming more complex. Today, banks have diversified their activities and are getting into new products and services that include opportunities in credit cards, consumer finance, wealth management, life and general insurance, investment banking, mutual funds, pension fund regulation, stock broking services, custodian services, private equity, etc. Further, most of the leading Indian banks are going global, setting up offices in foreign countries, by themselves or through their subsidiaries. Performance evaluation of the banking sector is an effective measure and indicator to check the soundness of economic activities of an economy. Evaluating Indian banking sector performance is not an easy task. There are multiple factors to be considered, while differentiating good banks from bad ones. To evaluate the performance of banking sector the CAMEL model has been used which measures the performance of banks from each of the important parameter like Capital Adequacy, Assets Quality, Management Efficiency, Earning Quality and Liquidity. After deciding the model, the performance of 42 public and private sector nationalized banks is evaluated over a period of five years (2009-2013). According to the importance of study each parameter is given equal weights. Results shown that on an average Andhra bank was at the top most position followed by bank of Baroda and Punjab & Sindh Bank. It is also observed that Central Bank of India was at the bottom most position.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a serious global health concern that is a lethal disease with few viable treatment options. The potential use of natural chemicals in preventing and treating cancer has been brought to light by recent studies. Because of its immunomodulatory qualities, Coccinia grandis, an old medicinal herb, is a serious contender. An overview of current research on the functions of Coccinia grandis 50 bioactive compounds were listed and its active ingredients in the prevention and management of HCC is given in this article. We look at the plant's bioactive ingredients, like flavonoids and cucurbitacins, which have been shown to have anti-cancer properties through a variety of pathways, including immune response regulation, tumor growth reduction, and apoptosis induction. The review also covers the molecular processes involved, such as the upregulation of antioxidant defenses and the inhibition of inflammatory cytokines. We also go over Coccinia grandis's pharmacological challenges and potential therapeutic applications for the management of HCC. By integrating data from preclinical and clinical trials, this review seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the potential applications of Coccinia grandis as an additional strategy in HCC therapy. It also highlights the need for more investigation to ascertain this treatment's safety and therapeutic efficacy.

The motivational novel "Life is What You Make It" by Preeti Shenoy is examined in this article. It concludes that a person has the ability to change their life whenever they so choose. A person's life is shaped by their decisions, attitudes and behaviors. One's life may be turned around by fate. Preeti Shenoy used her own life as an example of how challenging life can be and the various obstacles that women encounter in both their personal and professional lives. The most powerful attributes of all is faith. Any issue or challenges that life throws at you can be resolved via faith. There are many obstacles in life. The real purpose and quality of life is overcoming all obstacles and issues. It is contingent upon an individual's response and behavior toward the obstacles. This is a tale of love, hope and how tenacity may triumph against fate. You make your life, according to Shenoy. Charles Nodier once said, "literature is the expression of society". It is regarded to be a mirror of life because it mirrors society. It mimics society and human conduct. Literature explores actual occurences in life and occasionally the writer's imagination. Shenoy's story, "life is what you make it" is centered on live and tenacity, two qualities that aid in overcoming the obstacles that a girl in society must endure.

The Areca nut, otherwise called the betel nut, holds huge significance as a tropical yield, with India remaining as the second-biggest maker and purchaser universally. All through its development organizes, the areca nut faces various sicknesses influencing different parts from the roots to the natural products. Customarily, distinguishing these sicknesses has depended on manual visual reviews by ranchers, which isn't just work serious yet additionally inclined to errors. To alleviate these difficulties, we propose an inventive strategy utilizing AI procedures to robotize the quality recognition of areca nuts. Our methodology uses the K-Closest Neighbor (KNN) and Backing Vector Machine (SVM) calculations to characterize the nuts into classifications of positive or negative quality. For this reason, we fostered a custom dataset containing 208 pictures of areca nuts, including both great and terrible quality examples, to prepare and test our models. The KNN calculation accomplished a high precision of 95.12%, fundamentally beating the SVM calculation, which recorded an exactness of 65.68%. These outcomes feature KNN's prevalent presentation in distinctive the nature of areca nuts in light of picture separated features. Our study underscores the capability of AI in rural applications, giving a more effective, exact, and versatile answer for surveying areca nut quality. This innovative headway can fundamentally help ranchers by diminishing the time and work expected for crop examination and improving in general yield the executives. Future examination will zero in on augmenting the dataset, refining the calculations, and creating pragmatic apparatuses for certifiable application.

This research paper provides a comprehensive feminist critique of Mahasweta Devi's short story Draupadi, which centers on the protagonist, Dopdi Mejhen--a tribal woman and revolutionary who resists the systemic oppression of marginalized communities in India. Devi's narrative subverts traditional gender roles and challenges the pervasive patriarchal structures that perpetuate violence against women, especially those from oppressed communities. This paper examines the intersectionality of gender, caste, and class in Devi's work and discusses how the story reconfigures notions of female resistance and agency

The stock market, a vital and dynamic element of the financial system, plays a crucial role in the progress of the economy. It provides a marketplace for individuals and organizations to engage in transactions involving shares, bonds, debentures, and various other financial instruments. Essentially, it functions as a trading venue for a range of assets and derivatives. Additionally, stock markets serve as indicators of the performance and growth of the Indian economy. The establishment of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), influenced by global trends, marked the initial step towards reforming the Indian stock market. However, it was the 1991 stock market scandal that truly propelled these reforms forward. With the advent of SEBI and advancements in technology, the Indian stock market has achieved unprecedented heights, established new standards, and significantly contributed to our economy by enhancing the value of equities, debentures, bonds, and real estate.
