The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of circuit training on muscular endurance among table tennis players. To achieve the purpose of the present study, thirty table tennis from different schools in New Delhi were selected as subjects at random and their ages ranged from 15 to 17 years. The subjects were divided into two equal groups at random. The subjects were divided into two equal groups of fifteen subjects each. Group I acted as Experimental Group (Circuit Training) and Group II acted as Control Group. The requirement of the experiment procedures, testing as well as exercise schedule was explained to the subjects so as to get full co-operation of the effort required on their part and prior to the administration of the study. Pre test was conducted for all the subjects on muscular endurance. This initial test scores formed as pre test scores of the subjects. The groups were assigned as Experimental Group and Control Group in an equivalent manner. Experimental Group was exposed to circuit training and Control Group was not exposed to any experimental training other than their regular daily activities. The duration of experimental period was 6 weeks. After the experimental treatment, all the thirty subjects were tested on their physical fitness components. This final test scores formed as post test scores of the subjects. The pre test and post test scores were subjected to statistical analysis using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) to find out the significance among the mean differences. In all cases 0.05 level of significance was fixed to test hypotheses. It was observed that the six weeks of experimental group have significantly improved the muscular endurance of table tennis players.

The study is intended because it helps to expand the sense of understanding the intensity of the issue under conversation as this conversation is important. It sharpens and brings accuracy to the understanding of literary endeavor and even brought interest in literature. Clubbing the chosen writers together for comparison may lead to understanding the universality of human behaviour as well as experience about their life and how they lead their life. The comparison provides scope for granting individuality into generalization and to understand in better way. The selected Indian writers of Indian fictional writing in English have different approaches to take a look at the difficulties of contemporary Indian society. However, they carry a collective contemporary consciousness as they are aware of their problems. The remarks brought forth on the basis of comparison are more acceptable, authentic, reliable and valid and even accepted by all. For that reason, a comparative study is necessary to acquaint the contemporary generation having the problems emerging due to rapidly changing societal consciousness and this gives the best result out of it. This research work focuses mainly on Arvind Adiga's and Vikas Swarup's selected fictions, who have been mainly concerned with the problems of contemporary Indian Society which has portrayed the society or individual dilemmas or current major issues in India. The Indian society has evolved through the ages, and advancements have taken place in diverse fields. However, in every society, there are socio-cultural issues that need to be addressed and tackled. Security of people, particularly of the vulnerable sections, such as women, children and the elderly people is a major concern in the contemporary Indian society. These fictional writers are deeply attached to their contemporary Indianness, and they depict Indian social realism in their fictional works. Their close observations of contemporary Indian cultures are quite engaging to win many prestigious awards and their fictions are praised not only in India but also recognized world-wide. Both the Indian fictional writers in English sought to find words and forms to fit their experiences and observations. They have chosen narrative strategies like the novels, and the short stories to do so to write what they are feeling deeply attached to the real Indian common consciousness.

Onion is one of the most important commercial crop of the Davanagere District under rain fed condition. Due to use of local varieties and unscientific management practices farmers are getting lower productivity. For this Krishi Vigyan Kendra conducted series of demonstrations over the years with the best performing variety Bhima Super in different locations of the district. The results obtained from the present demonstrations on the Performance of onion (Allium cepa L.) varieties for growth and yield traits in Davanagere district during kharif season of 2016-17, 2017-18, 2022-23, 2023-24 are recorded. The economic analysis of the data revealed that variety Bhima Super recorded highest gross returns (Rs. 320956/ha), Net returns (Rs.208219/ha) and BC ratio (2.82). Hence it can be concluded from the study that the Bhima Super variety performed better in growth and yield attributes compared to local varieties and best suited to kharif season for cultivation in central dry zone and southern transitional zone of Karnataka.

Liver cirrhosis is a complex, progressive disease characterized by fibrosis and impaired liver function, resulting from a range of etiological factors. This comparative analysis explores the three primary causes of cirrhosis: viral hepatitis (primarily Hepatitis B and C), alcohol-related liver disease, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a metabolic disorder linked to obesity and diabetes. By examining clinical presentations, biochemical markers, and histopathological features, the study delineates both overlapping and distinct pathways of liver damage in each condition. Key findings include the accelerated progression of cirrhosis in viral hepatitis, the direct hepatotoxic effects of alcohol, and the systemic metabolic dysfunction underlying NAFLD. The study highlights differences in prognosis, treatment options, and preventive strategies, emphasizing the need for early diagnosis and targeted interventions to manage the diverse etiologies of liver cirrhosis effectively. This research contributes to a more nuanced understanding of the disease, aiding in the development of personalized therapeutic approaches

The pervasive influence of social media has transformed various aspect of daily life, including public health. This abstract examines the multifaceted effects of social media on public health exploring both its potential benefits and risks. On one hand, social media platforms facilitate rapid dissemination of health information, enabling public health campaigns to reach diverse populations quickly and efficiently. They also provide support networks for individuals managing chronic conditions and mental health issues, enhancing community engagement and access to resources. This review synthesizes current research on the influence of social media on public health highlighting the need for balanced approaches that leverage its benefits while mitigation its risks. Future research should focus on developing strategies to improve information accuracy, enhance digital literacy, and promote healthy online behaviors. Addressing these issues is crucial for optimizing the role of social media in supporting public health objectives and improving overall population well-being. Conversely, social media also presents challenges that can negatively impact public health. The spread of misinformation and health related myths can undermine public health efforts and contribute to harmful behaviors. Additionally, the prevalence of health - related anxiety and the impact of online interactions on mental well - being are areas of concern, with evidence suggesting that excessive social media use may be linked to increased rates of depression and anxiety.

Alterations in the blood parameters of the freshwater fish Catla catla are studied in the laboratory after exposing the fish to both technical grade and 10% WP of Cyfluthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid for four days and 10 days in 1 /10th of LC50 values of 96 hours respectively in lethal and sublethal concentration. The parameters studied are Erythrocytes (RBC), White Blood Cells (WBC), Haemoglobin (Hg), Haematocrit (HCT), Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin (MCH) and also Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin Concentrations (MCHC). Except White Blood Cells (WBC) all other parameters resulted or decrement for both technical grade and 10% WP of Cyfluthrin exposure in lethal and sub-lethal concentrations of the toxicants in the fish. The WP of commercial formulation had a significant impact on the blood parameters which will have impact on the physiology of the fish particularly of the metabolism and if it impaired render the fish not to have a proper growth which is important for the cultivable species like the one studied in the present experimentation.

The fish Labeo rohita a major carp cultivable species is exposed to both technical grade and 10% EC of Bifenthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid (Type I, non-cyanogroup one) experiment in the laboratory (in vivo) both in lethal and sublethal concentration and studied the variation in the oxygen consumption, while in the process of inspiration of the physiological process of respiration. The fish due to toxic stress initially had taken more amount of the gas that is dissolved in water and later also had a decrement in its consumption. In the lethal concentration, the fish dies and is one of the reason of its toxic effect and in sublethal concentration which is the situation in the natural conditions of the aquatic environment act as slow poison. Such levels have to be monitored while the fish is cultured and also for its survival in the chronic concentration and the sublethal concentration levels are really lethals in the long run.
