Lamsimngyi Festival is a premier pre-harvest event held on the 30th and 31st of October celebrated annually by the Zeliang Naga tribe. This vibrant festival, first recognized as a restricted holiday in 1966 by the State Government, reflects the deep cultural, religious, and agricultural heritage of the Zeliang people. The celebration goes over six days where rituals and ceremonies were conducted that reinforce family bonds, showcase traditional customs and honour agricultural cycles. Lamsimngyi is also known as a festival of familial reconnection, where relationships between parents, married children, siblings and extended relatives are renewed. Traditional dishes are shared among family members and friends, expressing love and care. Central to the festival is the invocation of blessings for an abundant harvest, with prayers directed to the Almighty. Lamsimngyi is further marked by the cleaning of village pathways, symbolizing the temporary cessation of headhunting, which historically provided a sense of security during the harvest season. The festival also serves as a stage for traditional sports competitions, where champions are celebrated as village heroes capable of safeguarding the community. Each day of the festival has its own distinct significance, from the consecration of male children to communal feasts and competitive games. Through these customs, Lamsimngyi fosters unity, strengthens cultural identity, and promotes agricultural prosperity within the Zeliang Naga society.

The concept of the uterus has been explored extensively in both traditional Ayurvedic texts and modern medical literature. This study aims to bridge the gap between these two paradigms by examining the Ayurvedic understanding of the uterus, or "Garbhashaya," and correlating it with current anatomical, physiological, and clinical knowledge. Through a comprehensive review of classical Ayurvedic sources and modern scientific studies, this paper elucidates the morphological features, functional attributes, and clinical applications of the uterine concept in Ayurveda. The findings highlight the relevance of Ayurveda in the context of contemporary gynaecological practice and suggest areas for further integrative research.

The study aims to analyze the correlation between sleep hygiene and social networking among adolescents in India. We observed the relationship between social networking and sleep hygiene among adolescents in India through a correlational analysis, utilizing a total of 103 samples from the age group of 15-20 years across India. The data collection happened through both online and offline means: I created the Google form, shared the link, and shared it across; printed the survey form, and distributed it to nearby schools in Bangalore. The study is quantitative and objectively conducted, with a focus on demographics, sampling strategy, assessment tools, data collection methods, reliability, and validity. The limitations of the research include time constraints, the potential for bias and inaccuracy, and ethical considerations such as voluntary participation, informed consent, anonymity, and confidentiality. The quantitative study transformed the raw findings into SPSS for descriptive and correlational analysis, revealing a 99% correlation between the two variables. It is fascinating to see that the two variables in the title exist independently in their domains, yet there is an existing correlation between social networking and sleep hygiene among Indian adolescents.

Abstract: In 21st century, the gender inequality and caste-based inequality are major issues faced by Indian society. In 12th century, the Shivasharana movement led by Basaveshwar in Karnataka has made efforts to bring up gender equality and caste-based equality through their Vachanas and even everyone irrespective of their caste and gender were allowed to participate in Anubhava Mantapa and express their views on various socio-religious issues. According to Shivasharanas and Shivasharaneyas, both the genders are equal and all the occupations are also equal and holy. As such, all the castes based on occupations are equal in society. In this article, the ideas of some of the Shivasharanas expressed through their Vachanas are analyzed and discussed. Their ideas were also against social evils such as violence against women, Sati practice, etc. and they encouraged Widows' remarriage. In this way, emancipation of women and equality-based society were messages spread by Shivasharana movement.
