ABSTRACT T. S. Eliot's The Waste Land (1922) stands as a cornerstone of modernist literature, embodying the movement's departure from traditional forms to reflect the fragmented reality of the early 20th century. The poem's complex interplay of cultural, literary, and religious references mirrors the disarray of post-World War I society. A subtle yet significant influence on Eliot's work is the Upanishads, ancient Hindu texts that delve into existential themes of reality, self, and the divine. Although not directly cited, the Upanishads' exploration of spiritual desolation and the quest for enlightenment permeates Eliot's depiction of a fractured world seeking redemption. The motifs in The Waste Land, such as the Fisher King and the use of water imagery, echo the Upanishadic themes of spiritual barrenness, renewal, and the pursuit of transcendent truth. Eliot's fragmented narrative and diverse religious symbols suggest a deep engagement with Eastern philosophies, revealing a dialogue between modern disillusionment and ancient spiritual wisdom. This analysis underscores how Eliot integrates Upanishadic elements to enrich his modernist concerns, offering a profound commentary on spiritual decay and the potential for renewal amidst chaos.

Due to low harmonic distortion of the line current, bi-directional power flow and unity power factor feature offered by Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) based active front-end converters are widely used in industrial applications which served as additional benefits. This paper conducts a comprehensive study on the modeling and control of a three-phase active front-end rectifier system with decoupled dq based control strategy. The operational details of the active front-end converter system are investigated, along with considerations regarding controller design to enhance disturbance rejection and robustness. Experimental validation demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed control method on improving system performance in different operational circumstances.

The spicy and fast food eaten now a days, which have very fewer nutritional values and also having similar properties to 'Viruddhahara1. These all ultimately resulted into 'Dhatudaurbalya' (i.e. lower immunity). Which causes sensitization towards allergens as well as antibodies and produces various types of allergic reactions, one of them is 'Urticaria', which is very common. Now a days the spicy and fast food eaten which have very less nutritional values and also having similar properties to Asatmyasevan. 'Asatmyasevan'1 means the 'Exposer to allergens and antibody'. The college aims to offer the best possible environment and learning experience to encourage students to perform to their full potential for academic achievement. The main factors in the development of college are students, teachers, parents and alumni which help to evaluate how its service policies and make changes as per stakeholders' requirements. Our aims to certain the adequacy of the hostels and other general facilities provided to the students and investigate the level of satisfaction of the students to the available facilities. Hostel is becoming a necessity with increasing number of students coming from peripheral areas. Hostel life is not without problems, limitations and challenges. To show student satisfaction with hostel facilities and look into the issues of hostel life, we systematic preferred questionnaires were used in data collection from hostel students taken as the sample for the study. The collected information is analyzed using several statistical tools and techniques.

INTRODUCTION: Male contraceptives are necessary for acknowledgment of the need for shared contraceptive responsibility, which would lessen the burden currently borne solely by the female spouse, in situations where women are unable to use because of health issues. The Indian Express news coverage released a report on June 7, 2023, United Nations Report on the World Populace Prospects, which said that by 2050, India"s populace would reach far surpassing China"s declining populace at 131.7 crore. METHODOLOGY: This study was conducted in a quantitative research approach with one group pre-test and post-test pre-experimental design. The study was conducted in Nerkundram for 75 men with Purposive sampling technique. The research tools are the demographic variables, Self structured questionnaire for knowledge, 5 Point Likert"s scale for attitude and dichotomous questionnaire for barriers. RESULT: The study revels that the knowledge level on pre-test, 66.67% had inadequate knowledge, 100% had negative attitude, and the mean score of barriers on permanent methods was 5.0 and the temporary was 6.46 whereas in the post-test after the intervention of structured teaching programme the knowledge level was 94.67% had adequate knowledge, 70.67% had positive attitude, and the post-test mean score was 1.14 in permanent methods and the post-test mean score was 0.90 in temporary methods. It shows a positive correlation between mean differed knowledge, attitude and barriers which was statistically significant at p<0.005 level. CONCLUSION: The study reflects that the men had inadequate knowledge, attitude and barriers but after the structured teaching programme the knowledge, attitude and barriers have increased it shows a positive outcome by performing this study.

Amavata is the most crippling and disabling joint disorder that affects the general population. Patients complains of pain, stiffness, and swelling in multiple joints, which makes it difficult for them to do daily work. According to clinical presentation, Pravriddha Amavata closely resembles with Rheumatoid arthritis (R.A) in accordance with their similarities on clinical features like pain, swelling, stiffness, fever, redness, general debility. Now a days Rheumatoid arthritis has been more common and distressing among all joints problem. It affects approximately 0.8% of the population (ranges from 0.3-2.1%) worldwide.1 The prevalence of RA in India is 0.7%.2 Acharaya Chakradutta has described the principles of treatment for the disease Amavata, which includes Langhana, Swedana, use of Tikta, Katu, and Deepaniya drugs, Virechana, Snehapana, and administration of Anuvasana as well as Kshara Basti.3 Acharaya Yogaratnakar have added Ruksha Sweda with Baluka Pottali and Upanaha without Sneha along with these measures4. The case presented here is a 27-year-old female who came with complaints of Pain and Swelling in multiple joints and Stiffness in whole body from 2-3 months. Vaitarana Basti was given to the patient for about 2 months. The response to this treatment was recorded and therapeutic effects were evaluated through symptomatic relief.
