Abstract English Language Teaching plays a pivotal role in a globalized world where English has become the dominant language of international communication, business, academia, and culture. This paper examines the importance of ELT in fostering global opportunities for individuals and enhancing national participation in the global economy. It explores the impact of English proficiency on economic globalization, academic collaboration, and cultural exchange. The challenges faced by ELT, such as diverse learner needs, limited resources, and sociocultural barriers, are discussed alongside innovative teaching methods like Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and the use of technology in language education. Case studies from South Korea's education reforms and India's IT sector illustrate successful implementations of ELT. Looking ahead, advancements in artificial intelligence and a focus on multilingualism and social justice will shape the future of English language learning. ELT remains critical to ensuring individuals are equipped with the language skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

Abstract This study explores the role of positive leadership in enhancing the quality of work and life (QWL) among doctors in North Kerala. By examining factors such as leadership practices, supportive resources, achievement motivation, and various dimensions of QWL, the research aims to identify how these elements interact to improve job satisfaction and performance. Using a sample of 60 doctors from private and government hospitals across Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Wayanad, data were collected through structured interviews and analyzed using t-tests and chi-square tests. Findings indicate that positive leadership significantly improves organizational effectiveness, teamwork, and motivation. Adequate resources, including funding and human resources, are critical for enhancing service quality and job satisfaction. Achievement motivation and rewards, such as compensation and career advancement opportunities, also play a crucial role in improving QWL. Additionally, a supportive work environment and high self-efficacy contribute to better job satisfaction. The study underscores the importance of positive leadership and resource allocation in improving the overall work experience and effectiveness of doctors in the region.

Dark stores and micro fulfillment centers are innovative retail concepts designed to optimize supply chain efficiency and enhance the customer experience. Both dark stores or retail spaces repurposed exclusively for online order fulfillment and micro-fulfillment centers, which are smaller, localized warehouses designed for swift order processing, leverage advanced technologies to streamline operations. This study examines key technological components such as automated inventory management systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI), which enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of how dark stores and micro-fulfillment centers are reshaping e-commerce logistics and setting new standards for efficiency and service quality in the retail sector. It also addresses the challenges associated with integrating these technologies, including high initial investment costs, system integration complexities, and the need for continuous technological updates.

In this paper we studied different insulating materials, their properties and uses. Insulating materials are materials that provide insulation or reduce the transfer of heat between objects. Heat transfer can be a problem in many industries where two objects are in contact at different temperatures. Although heat flow between these two objects is inevitable, insulating materials can be used to reduce the transfer of heat. These materials work by reducing thermal conduction or by reflecting rather than absorbing thermal radiation.
