ABSTRACT: This study examines the pre- and post-merger financial performance of Lakshmi Vilas Bank and DBS Bank, aiming to understand the effects of their mergers on key financial metrics. Utilizing secondary data from various financial statements, the research employs ratio analysis, percentage change assessments, and T-tests to evaluate profitability, liquidity, and growth. The findings indicate that Lakshmi Vilas Bank faced substantial declines in its financial performance after the merger, with significant negative impacts on profitability and liquidity. In contrast, DBS Bank experienced positive financial outcomes, showcasing improved profitability and growth metrics post-merger. This study underscores the necessity of conducting thorough due diligence and strategic planning in the merger process to ensure successful financial integration and performance enhancement.

This paper presents the design and analysis of a circularly polarized monopole antenna with an asymmetrical U shape radiator, a rectangular slot, and a ground plane. The antenna is fabricated using FR4 substrate having ?r = 4.4, tan? = 0.02. The antenna achieves a 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth of 4.0 GHz. The surface current distribution analysis reveals the excitation behavior and circular polarization generation of the antenna. The simulated radiation patterns demonstrate the left-handed circular polarization radiation in the broadside direction. The proposed antenna design offers wideband circular polarization performance and shows potential for various wireless communication applications.

This paper investigates how the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Sarada Devi can reshape societal perceptions of homemakers and empower them as significant contributors to personal and societal development. By examining their philosophical insights, this study advocates for a transformative reevaluation of the role of homemakers, presenting homemaking not merely as a domestic function but as a key element of social and spiritual evolution. Through the philosophical and literature review method, the paper proposes a framework where homemakers, inspired by the wisdom of Vivekananda and Sarada Devi, play an essential role in fostering ethical, spiritual, and social growth within families and communities.

Insurance literacy is often hypothesised as an essential knowledge of financial matters and desirable attitudes which leads to outcomes related to money and finance. It is ideal to measure the insurance literacy through a combination of its most likely dimensions - Insurance policy knowledge, behaviour and attitude towards the insurance policies. This theory is related to how working women manage their ability to understand insurance products and services. The main aim of this study is how insurance literacy level of working women affects their awareness regarding insurance products. Descriptive research design was used for the research. The sample unit of this survey was working women in Coimbatore district, Tamilnadu. Total 127 working women having insurance policies were selected for this survey. Convenient sampling technique was used to collect the required data from working women. Analysis of the primary data employed methods such as simple percentage analysis, t-tests. The study reveals that improving insurance literacy can significantly boost awareness and uptake of government schemes. The involvement of both the government and private sector is crucial for driving this change.

In the developing countries like India, a sizable portion of the population still lives in abject poverty despite the massive administrative structure established to spearhead national developmental initiatives. The last ten years have seen a growing disparity in wealth distribution, with the rich becoming increasingly affluent while the poor continue to struggle, widening the gap between the two socioeconomic groups. Social justice demands focused attention on the underprivileged to help them escape poverty, requiring efficient administration and a revamped structure for socio-economic development. Effective governance, including empowering citizens through the RTI Act, is crucial for keeping a check on our sarkar. Only then can developing countries meet their constitutional goals to improve the lives of millions suffering from poverty and other socio-economic issues. This study is undertaken to unravel the scenario regarding the implementation of RTI Act and its effectiveness in promoting government accountability and citizen empowerment.

Constipation is a symptom-based disorder, and its definition is mainly subjective. Constipation carries a major health care burden, as it affects 15%-20% of the global population. Chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) is a common functional disorder associated with an impaired quality of life (QoL), and a negative impact on mental, social, and professional aspect. According to Diamond, the digestive system is intricately related to the rest of the body's optimal functioning and emotional arena, which necessitates a holistic approach in the treatment. A young woman with severe constipation, particularly with low bowel frequency, a sense of incomplete evacuation and straining, representing a case of typical chronic idiopathic constipation as per the Rome IV Criteria for diagnosis of constipation. The treatment of such a constipation is long-lasting, and relapses are common. She was seeking different modes of treatment for last 6 years and homoeopathy for last 4 months with no relief. With thorough case taking, repertorial analysis and observation of her behaviour and lifestyle, Nux vomica 1M has been prescribed. The patient Assessment of Constipation - Symptoms (PAC-SYM) questionnaire was used as a tool to assess the severity of patient reported symptoms of chronic constipation. After the 7 months of course of treatment, her symptoms cured completely with no relapse, as observed through PAC-SYM Score which has reduced from 33 to 2 at the end of treatment. Individualised homoeopathic treatment with correct potency has cured the patient and paved the way to research further in this manner.

Brain tumors are growths of nerves that don't work right in the brain. They make it hard for the brain to do regular things. It's caused the deaths of many people. To keep from getting this sickness, people need to be able to get the right care and find it quickly. Finding brain cells that have been damaged by tumors is hard and takes a lot of time. On the other hand, picture processing has a lot of problems when it comes to how well and how quickly it can find brain cancers. This study paper describes a new, better, and more accurate way to find brain cancers. The improved convolution neural network (CNN) method helps us pick the best features by using grey wolf and whale optimization. Brain cancer can be found with the CNN algorithm. This system checks its performance against another optimization method that is already out there and says that its work is better based on factors like precision, accuracy, and memory. Python is the computer language that was used to make this system. This improved method has been shown to find brain cancers 98.9% of the time.

This study is a comprehensive literature review with content analysis to synthesize the outcome of philosophical ideologies proposed by Swami Vivekananda on various contemporary issues and concerns. Swami Vivekananda is a Hindu monk who revitalized Hinduism and introduced the power of spirituality to the Western world. He proposed and propagated the ideologies of holistic education, social reform, interfaith, harmony, religion, peace, and spiritual resilience. This study reviews Swamiji's teachings and propositions across multifaceted domains of education, social justice, mental health, religion, universal brotherhood, peace, harmony, nationalism, unity, and integrity. A systematic attempt is made to identify key areas where his ideas have continued to shape modern thought processes and practices based on the available literature from published scholarly articles, books, and internet sources. The paper also examines the relevance of his principles including self-reliance, moral education, and spirituality to address modern societal problems such as inequality, cultural identity, and environmental sustainability. The study identifies significant research gaps to work further. It is found that the philosophical thoughts of Swami Vivekananda retain their charm and memento even in the 21st Century because of their vigor, message, power to guide the world to discover ways to find holistic well-being, universal brotherhood, social cohesion, global unity, ecological balance, and blissful life.
