 Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to a) Examine the differences in pre and post intervention aggression scores among experimental group and control group. b) Test hypothesis - H1- There will be significant difference in pre and post aggression scores of experimental group among young adults. H2 - There will be no significant difference in pre and post aggression scores of control group among young adults. H3 - There will be no significant difference in post intervention aggression scores of experimental group and control group among young adults. Aggression and depression are discussed extensively by examining a broad range of literature that points to environmental, social, individual, psychological, and biophysiological influences. First, aggression and depression are discussed separately in terms of their underlying theory, biosocial perspectives, typologies, behavioral and personality abnormalities, brain structures related to each, and neurochemical/neurological influences. The final sections of the literature review discuss how aggression and depression intersect. These subsections are meant to provide the reader with different lenses through which to frame a deeper understanding of aggression and depression and to expose the reality that aggression and depression are highly complex behavioral outputs for which there are a multiplicity of causes. A methodological outline including hypotheses, research design, sample characteristics, measurements of aggression and depression and covariates, and an analytical strategy frame this study. Lastly, results from the analyses are reported and discussed, contextualizing the findings drawn in this paper in light of extant research

 Abstract

The latent heat flux at the ocean's surface plays a key role in the atmospheric hydrological and energy cycles. Here we discuss the spatial distribution of Latent Heat flux climatology from (1990-2018) over the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. Throughout the beginning of the South-West monsoon season, especially June, the South- West side of both the Arabian and Bay of Bengal show a high latent heat flux. In the month of October, Bay of Bengal, and the Arabian Sea are showing the least latent heat flux (60 W/m2). The latent heat flux has a great influence on the Arabian Sea. From 1990 to 2000 during the monsoon the latent heat flux was minimum (40wm2) along the west Arabian Sea and maximum along the north Arabian Sea. In the overall 28 years of the study, the maximum latent heat flux is observed in the Arabian Sea rather than the Bay of Bengal.

 Abstract

Abstract Education sector has witnessed a paradigm shift in the pedagogical process across the globe during the Covid lockdown period as the regular classes came to a halt everywhere. The pandemic accelerated the digital transformation of learning; online education has become a critical pathway to building a more inclusive and accessible model.(Basu,2022). All the stakeholders of educational institutions were deeply worried about this adverse effect and were pining for ways and means for redeeming academic activities without disrupting the Covid protocol. At that juncture, Online education came as a boon; not only for conducting regular classes but also to organize seminars, conferences, vivavorce, refresher programmes, etc., The change is not just in the medium of teaching but also in the approach, curriculum design, implementation, and assessment as well.To achieve the desired outcome an efficient Instructional design is indispensable. This paper explores the efficacy of second language teaching by customizing Instructional Design Modelfor Constructivist learning. The study was conducted by selecting 300 final year Undergraduate students from various disciplines in a Higher Education Institution in South Tamilnadu. The analysis is developed based on the empirical data collected from the subjects of the study.

 Abstract

The objectives of this study are to screen Tridax procumben L.'s phytochemical composition and determine whether it has anti-inflammatory properties. Phytochemical screening's primary goal is to establish the presence of cardiac glycosides and flavonoids for the evaluation of anti-inflammatory activity in a powder sample of leaves of Tridax procumben L.

 Abstract

Fish are extremely sensitive to alterations in their aquatic habitat. They are referred to be the bio-indicator species to monitor water contamination as a result. Due to its strong insecticidal properties, minimal toxicity to mammals, low persistence, and quick biodegradation in the ecosystem, organophosphate pesticides are frequently used among other types of pesticides in intensive agricultural practices to protect crops from numerous pests and illnesses. Exposure to by metabolism damage, which sporadically results in the fish's demise. One of the earliest organophosphate insecticides, malathion (C10H19O6PS2) is still widely employed as a dust, emulsion, and vapor to control a variety of insect pests in a variety of environments. One of the insecticides that has been the subject of the most research, malathion, may cause a number of important alterations in fish. The goal of this study is to review the toxicological effects of the organophosphate pesticide Malathion on fish, including hematological parameters, physical parameters, biochemical parameters, behavioral changes, neurotoxic effects, histopathological alterations, respiratory responses, bioaccumulation, and chromosomal changes.

 Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the influence of proprioceptive training yoga training and combined training programme on neuromuscular variable speed among school level kho-kho players. To achieve the purpose of the study sixty (N=60) male kho-kho players were randomly selected. The age group of the subject was 14 to 17 years. Selected subjects were equally divided into two groups namely control and experimental group. Control group was not given any type of training. Experimental group was given proprioceptive training, yoga training and combined proprioceptive and yoga training for a period of ten weeks. The pre-test and post-test data on speed was collected on both the groups before and after the experimental training. collected data was analysed by using ANCOVA to find significant difference among mean at 0.05 level of confidence. It was concluded that experimental group combined proprioceptive and yoga training group significantly (p <= 0.05) improved the speed when compared to control group of the school level kho-kho players.

 Abstract

This research paper presents a comprehensive exploration of achievement motivation among university students, utilizing the innovative ACMT developed by Mr. V. P. Bhargava. By examining the distinctive aspects of science and humanities students' motivational profiles, this study contributes to the broader understanding of academic motivation and serves as a foundation for future research and practical applications aimed at promoting student success and well-being in higher education institutions. The study's results indicate a significant difference in achievement motivation between humanities and science students at the university level, with science students exhibiting slightly higher mean scores.

 Abstract

In the modern era, international relations are becoming increasingly akin to domestic politics. By entering into international treaties and conventions, nations wield significant influence over their policy decisions. Those without a notable role in shaping these global laws and agreements may find themselves vulnerable to exploitation or mistreatment by more powerful countries. Against this backdrop, India's G20 Presidency holds great significance. As the world's leading economic multilateral forum, the G20 serves as a crucial platform for shaping and strengthening the global financial architecture. By assuming the G20 Presidency, India has the chance to amplify the voices of the Global South, which are often marginalized in such forums. India can leverage this process to promote a stable, inclusive, and equitable global economic and financial system. All these aspects are considered in this study.
