 Abstract

Private participation in generating power is being encouraged in the country in order to meet high power requirement. As a result, many independent power producers (IPP) are establishing pit head thermal power stations. Many a times, the IPPs have to execute a contract with the state electricity board, under whose jurisdiction the location of the generating plant comes up lies, that a certain percentage of the installed capacity of the plant shall be supplied to the state grid and the balance power can be supplied to others. In such cases, there is a requirement for precisely controlled power flow over a transmission line between the IPP's generating station and the state grid substation at which the contracted power is to be delivered and provision for evacuating the balance power to nearby state grid substation. In a case where the installed capacity of the IPP is 500 MW, 300MW of power shall be supplied to the state grid whenever the generation is more than 300MW and full generated power if the generation is less than 300 MW. To achieve this control of power flow is essential. Hence it is required to select best conductor is required in order to reduce transmission losses and selection of percentage of compensation required to achieve control over the power flow in an AC transmission line. In this paper performance analysis is carried out in order to select best transmission line conductor amongst various conductors available and also percentage line compensation required to reduce reactive power flow and to control voltage and current in an AC transmission line.

While offering advantages, this migration also carries significant data safety and regulatory concerns. This paper investigates the difficulties in ensuring data protection and adherence to regulations while migrating banking and finance organizations to the AWS Cloud. By methodically examining the legal and regulatory framework, we discovered that it encompasses Title V, PCI DSS, GDPR, and the CCPA. This framework investigates the relevant laws and guidelines covering industry participants, including S.E.C. Rule 17-a-4(f), Reg-S.C.I., EU Data Protection Directives, FedRAMPs, FIPS 140-2, and NIST-800-171. And thereby, a detailed inquiry brings to complicated web of laws and vulnerabilities. Navigating this terrain requires a suite of tactics based on the collective wisdom of industry experts, AWS best practices, and triumphant real-world examples. This publication offers essential support for companies undergoing cloud migration in the banking and finance industry, shedding light on their challenges and providing actionable recommendations to ensure compliance and robust data protection.  Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of exchange rate and crude oil prices on Nigeria's inflation, while also examining the role of money supply and deposit interest rate as control variables. Using an ARDL model and data spanning from 2010 to 2023, the results indicate a significant positive relationship between lagged inflation and current inflation, suggesting the presence of inflation persistence. Moreover, the study finds a significant positive impact of exchange rate and a significant negative impact of crude oil prices on inflation. The inclusion of money supply and deposit interest rate as control variables further highlights the significant negative impact of deposit interest rate on inflation, while money supply shows a negative but insignificant impact. These findings have important policy implications, including the need for increased efforts to stabilize the exchange rate and the importance of diversifying the economy away from crude oil. Additionally, the findings suggest the importance of monetary policy measures, such as adjusting interest rates, in managing inflation in Nigeria.

India has a long and varied history of implementing educational policies at the local, state, and national levels. The nation's educational system has undergone several modifications and improvements throughout the years with the goal of ensuring that all of its residents have access to high-quality education. In this regard, The National Education Policy 2020 in India suggests that by the year 2030, every child aged 3-6 in the country should have access to high-quality early care and education. This study examines the socio-economic disparities in education access using the 75th wave of National Statistical Office data (2021-22). Additionally, we look at the particular contributions that households' socio-economic standing and level of education make to the explanation of these disparities. We find significant regional (rural/urban) and socio-economic disparities in education access in India, with girls and children from historically oppressed social groups (scheduled castes and scheduled tribes) being less likely to attend early childhood education, especially in rural areas. We find that adjustments for home economic situation and household head's educational level can substantially reduce the rural-urban gap in access to pre-primary education. Inequalities in gender and socio-economic status are also seen in the household investment in early education. These findings emphasise the need for legislative initiatives and pledges to be made in order to lower obstacles to pre-primary school access for children living in underprivileged circumstances in India.

The emerging Generation Alpha, born after 2010, is an influential demographic with unique buying preferences, particularly concerning junk foods. This study aims to explore the buying behaviour of Gen Alpha in Coimbatore city, India, regarding junk foods and their associated factors. The research methodology includes a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with parents and children. The quantitative phase involves administering structured questionnaires to parents to understand their perceptions and buying patterns of junk foods for their Gen Alpha children. The survey will delve into factors such as parental influence, advertising impact, peer pressure, and nutritional awareness on their purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the study will examine the frequency and type of junk food consumption among Gen Alpha. this research aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of Gen Alpha's buying behaviour towards junk foods in Coimbatore city. The findings will contribute valuable information to marketers, policymakers, and health advocates, enabling them to develop effective strategies to promote healthier eating habits and make informed decisions regarding junk food marketing and regulation targeted at this influential consumer segment. Ultimately, this study seeks to enhance the understanding of the factors influencing Gen Alpha's junk food choices and contribute to the development of a healthier and more informed generation.

 Abstract

Caste and religion are integral components of Indian society since the time immemorial. These two systems create water tight compartment between communities and bring division, hatred and tension among various social groups. Marriages within the same caste and same religion is the norm of the Indian society. To think of marriages between different castes and different religions is a difficult and socially unacceptable proposition. Recently the process of modernization, democratization and development has brought lots of positive changes in Indian society. The major objectives of the present paper is to understand the spatial patterns and determinants of inter-caste and inter-religious marriages in India. The study uses the data of third round of National Family Health Survey (2011-12) having sample size of 43102 ever married couples. It is found that about 10 percent of the total marriages in India takes place between different castes while only 2.1 percent marriages are inter-religious.

To combat all these problems our serum contain benefits of anthracephalus Kadamba. Since Ancient times this fruit used in various traditional Medicines. We used this fruit extract in a cosmetics to treat skin problems such as acne, wrinkle, ageing, dehydration, pigmentation. Extract of Kadamba fruit contains tannic acid, Vitamin C, phenolic compound such as ferulic acid, Gallic acid, alkaloids, flavonoids which has anti-wrinkled, antioxidant, anti-microbial properties. The face serum was evaluated for it's physical evaluation PH, viscosity, stability. This result shows that there was no change in appearance, color and consistency. The face serum has a property of quickly penetrate into the deeper layer of skin. This formulation will act as a boon to your skin.

 Abstract

Adolescence is considered as the glorious phase for the growth and development of human life; this stage is full with excitement, joy, and fun. However, it is not the complete picture they are going through lots of social and emotional crises. Therefore, the adolescence stage is a matter of great concern to enhance their positive aspects and coping abilities--the positive psychology constructs, Personal growth initiatives PGI emerged as a most appropriate concept in adolescents' growth and accomplishment. Thus, the present investigation examined the relationship between personal growth initiatives and mental health. Also discussed the impact of personal growth initiatives (PGI) along with its four components (readiness for change, planfulness, intentional behavior, and using resources) on adolescents' mental health. One hundred adolescents were approached by using the convenience sampling technique. Robitschek's (2012) personal growth initiative Scale-II and The Mental Health inventory developed by Jagdish and Srivastava were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Pearson product-moment correlation. The findings of the study showed a positive relationship between teenage mental health and personal growth initiatives.
