 Abstract

Cuscuta reflexa Roxb. is a twining parasite and makes a tangled mass covering on the host plants. It is commonly known as dodder plant, amarbel, akashabela. Traditionally it is called as miracle plant. Medicinal properties of the plant are used to cure various diseases. These medicinal properties of the plant are due to the active phytoconstituents of the plants. Parasitic weed plant Cuscuta reflexa has been studied for the identification of its pharmacological activities. Various chemicals have been isolated from this miracle plant having therapeutic potential possessing ethnomedical and pharmacological activities. It contains important chemicals like cuscutin, cuscutalin, bergenin, kaempferol, amarbelin and sterol glycosides etc. Diverse pharmacological studies of Aftimoon have been reported such as anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, antipyretic, hepatoprotective, anticonvulsant, nematicide, anti-androgenic, hypocholestrolemic, antiandrogenic, hemolytic, diuretic, dermatigenic, immunostimulant, antiarthritic, antiasthma and anticancer activities. In this paper, an attempt has been made to summarize the information described in classical literature and scientific research conducted on different parts of Cuscuta reflexa plant.

 Abstract

Image captioning systems combine computer vision and natural language processing to generate accurate descriptions of images. The computer vision module extracts relevant information from images, while the NLP module constructs coherent and meaningful captions. This technology has gained significant interest due to its applications in analyzing large image datasets, detecting patterns for machine learning, and developing assistive software for the visually impaired. This study focuses on image captioning using neural networks, specifically ResNet as the encoder for image data, CNN for video subtitles, and LSTM (Long-Short-Term Memory) as the decoder.

 Abstract

Today, 20-50% of women are affected by ovarian cysts, a benign gynecological tumor that is particularly common in females during their reproductive years. Nowadays, ovarian cysts are more common. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including nutrition and lifestyle choices. Hormonal imbalance is the primary cause of it. Ovarian cysts are generally benign, although occasionally they can be dangerous. It is dependent upon the cyst's size and type. Homoeopathy has an amazing effect on it. Surgery is not necessary for a full recovery. As I mentioned, reports and a case view are used to examine how homoeopathy affects ovarian cyst cases.

 Abstract

BCS II lipid-lowering agent piroxicam. It is very little water-soluble and Phite buffer, pH 7.4, however it is not soluble in water solutions pH 4 along with lower. The current study aims to improve the the solvability and solubility of drugs that are inadequately soluble by developing a self-microemulsifies medication transport system that is SMEDDS. It was established whether Piroxicam was soluble in the separate microemulsion constituents, namely oil and surfactants. The ability of the surfactants to emulsify was tested. The solubility assessments and emulsification characteristics led to the selection of oil containing oleic acid and Tween 80 surfactants and PEG-8 Caprylic Capric Glyceride for more investigation. It was established how soluble proxicam was in various ratios of chosen oil to surfactants. For the formulation of SMEDDS, the oil:surfactant mixture with the highest solubility for piroxicam was utilized. A pseudoternary phase diagram was employed to assess the existence area of microemulsification. The development and screening of the formula was carried out according to the phase diagram results and the properties of the resulting microemulsions. The microemulsions were assessed for stability, in vitro dissolution, self-emulsification, phase separation, and emulsion droplet size. In contrast to the plain medication, which demonstrated a limited rate of dissolution, the SMEDDS formulation exhibited total release.
