 Abstract

This study addresses the critical issue of evaluating the health and quality of freshwater ecosystems using amphibians as bioindicators. The research problem revolves around the sensitivity of amphibians to various contaminants in Indian freshwater environments, necessitating an investigation into amphibian population dynamics, physiological responses, and the chemical and physical parameters of their habitats. The main findings of this study reveal that amphibians, particularly due to their permeable skin and semi-aquatic habitats, exhibit high sensitivity to alterations in water quality, making them reliable bioindicators. Key data indicate significant correlations between amphibian population declines and increases in water pollutants such as heavy metals, pesticides, and industrial effluents. The physiological responses of amphibians to these contaminants were found to be indicative of broader ecosystem health issues. The study's significance lies in its contribution to understanding the impact of water pollution on both aquatic ecosystems and human health, as contaminated water sources pose serious health risks to human populations. The broader implications of this research highlight the urgent need for conservation efforts and sustainable management practices to protect freshwater ecosystems, emphasizing the role of amphibians as critical bioindicators in monitoring and maintaining water quality.

 Abstract

Cotton is a critical cash crop, and its yield is significantly affected by various leaf diseases. Early and accurate recognition of these diseases is essential for mitigating damage and ensuring sustainable agricultural productivity. In this paper, we propose a hybrid CNN-LSTM (Convolutional Neural Network - Long Short-Term Memory) model for automated cotton leaf disease recognition. The model leverages the feature extraction capability of CNN to capture spatial patterns from input images, followed by the LSTM to process sequential features and detect temporal dependencies in the disease progression. An attention mechanism is integrated to focus on critical disease-specific features, further enhancing recognition accuracy. The model is trained and tested on a subset of the Plant Village dataset, comprising images of healthy and diseased cotton leaves, including common diseases like bacterial blight, fungal infections, and leaf curl virus. Data augmentation techniques are applied to enhance the robustness of the model, making it suitable for real-world field conditions. The proposed model achieves high accuracy, precision, and recall, outperforming conventional CNN-based approaches. This work demonstrates the potential of hybrid deep learning models in precision agriculture, offering an efficient and scalable solution for early disease detection and crop management.

 Abstract

The recent usage of deep sub-micron tenure was due to the rise in demand for integration of much more components on to a single chip for better performance with less power consumption. ASIC consists of logic blocks which are pre-designed and pre-verified in system library functions which lead to the success for the rapid increase of integrated system. Standard cell methodology is a phenomenon of designing ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) that is used in designing semiconductors with digital-logic features [1]. The cells or logic gates selected to build the library depends on the design requirement. These cells when used in the Semi-Custom Design Flow have to meet certain functions and performance. A successful and efficient implementation of a Semi-Custom Design depends on the standard cells in the library. Therefore, it is important to have a high quality cell library [2]. Modern integrated circuits are very large containing over a billion of transistors. Designs based on sub-micron technologies will always be a challenging task for the manufacturer to produce it at a very competitive cost. One approach is to use 'Cell-Based' implementation using Standard cell library [3]. Standard cells allow tools to automatically synthesize a circuit and optimize area, power consumption and timing. The state of the art Standard Cell Library using CMOS technology In this paper, overview of survey on history and development of standard cell library by considering different specifications like area, power, speed and driving strength in different technology(90nm, 65nm, 45nm and so on) for different applications is discussed.

 Abstract

The 2022 Punjab Assembly elections were a turning point, characterized by a decisive victory for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which won 92 of the 117 seats. This shift reflected a widespread voter disappointment with the Congress party, marred by internal conflicts and governance issues. AAP's success was fueled by its promises of anti-corruption measures, governance reforms, and addressing key issues such as unemployment and drug abuse. The election dynamics revealed a growing public appetite for new political alternatives, moving away from long-standing parties like the Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Voter behavior showed a clear preference for fresh, pragmatic solutions over traditional political narratives. This change signals a transformative phase in Punjab's politics, emphasizing the electorate's desire for effective governance and new political leadership.

 Abstract

Male breast cancer is a rare disease, the delay in diagnosis and treatment of this affection in men unlike that of women is a prognostic factor. The number number of invaded lymph nodes and tumor size are also strong factors prognostics, the other pejorative prognostic factor remains the advanced age at diagnosis, particularly in case of presence of comorbidities which could limit the therapeutic choices and possibilities hence the interest in carrying out prospective randomized studies. larger-scale studies in order to improve the management and prognosis of this condition whose psychosocial impact is considerable. Endocrine therapy is the cornerstone of the treatment of breast cancer and prostate. Although endocrine therapies are associated with prolonged survival and reduced risk of cancer recurrence, they are also associated with side effects painful psychological and physical .

 Abstract

Background: From the point of view of a doctor or nurse, first aid is care that is meant to save lives and lessen the effects of illness and injury until help arrives. Kids should feel safer at home and at school, where they spend most of their time. But these places can also be bad for their health. For kids who love to explore, schools are fun, but they might not know about the risks. Their quick growth and the influence of their peers can make them do dangerous things. The goal: "To evaluate how effective a structured teaching program is in improving first aid management knowledge among primary school teachers in selected schools of Barwala, Hisar, Haryana." How the study was done: a quasi-experimental research methodology was chosen for the study. Schools in Barwala, Hisar, and Haryana were chosen as study sites. A sample. There were 60 teachers chosen for this study as a whole. They used a non-random sampling method, which is also known as a convenience sampling method. To find out how much elementary school teachers knew about first aid, a structured knowledge questionnaire was used to collect data. A self-reporting tool was used to gather information. We used both descriptive and inferential statistics to look at the data. According to the pre-test, 85% of primary school teachers didn't know enough about how to give first aid, and 15% of primary school teachers knew enough. None of the elementary school teachers knew enough about how to handle first aid. 70% of primary school teachers had enough knowledge about first aid management, 20% had average knowledge, and 10% did not know enough. This was shown in a post-test of primary school teachers. In conclusion: The study found that Organised Teaching Programs on how to handle choking in first aid were a good way to teach the material. Findings from the study showed that primary school teachers didn't know nearly as much before Organised Teaching Programs were put in place. After looking at the results, it is suggested that a similar study be done again with a lot of people. More intervention studies should be done to learn more about how to help someone who is choking with first aid.
