Uttarakhand's indigenous cuisine, known as Pahari, is a reflection of the area's diverse geography, rich cultural legacy, and sustainable way of life. With origins in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions, this cuisine places a strong emphasis on using locally grown pulses like bhatt (black soybean) and grains like mandua (finger millet) and jhangora (barnyard millet). Simple yet nourishing preparations that are tailored to the mountainous terrain and chilly environment are demonstrated by dishes like Kafuli, Chainsoo, Aloo ke Gutke, and Phanu. This study examines the components, preparation methods, and cultural significance of Pahari food while emphasizing how modernization has affected customary eating habits. With possible relevance in current nutritional discussions, the project intends to record and promote this lesser-known culinary legacy as a sustainable and health-conscious food system.

Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man uses racial discrimination as an effectual tool to criticize society, strictures as well as identity politics in the United States of America. Ellison reveals the absurdities of racial dynamics and the struggle of the unnamed narrator for individuality through the novel on the contemporary issues. Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man raises voice against social, political and racial structures in the contemporary America through the protagonist's journey of self-discovery and his encounters with various social institutions like a Black Nationalist group, corporate system that exploits racial identity. The author highlights the absurdities and contradictions inherent in systemic and deliberate racism and the marginalization of African Americans. Ellison also reveals the dehumanizing effects of societal expectations and stereotypes as well as the ways in which identity is manipulated by external forces. By blending elements of existentialism, social critique and mockery, Ellison's work not only mocks the ideologies that perpetuate racial injustice but also invites readers to question the very nature of visibility, identity and power in an oppressive society. These abstract aims to examine how Invisible Man operates as both a vehicle for resistance and a mode of revealing deeper truths about American identity and race relations.

In this paper, There's implementation of IOT based communication technologies in microgrid with energy management system. Various wireless and wired communication techniques with IOT-based grid applications, network issues and challenges is addressed. The micro-grid based electricity generation and management in advanced way with the help of controlling digital communication to the power grid. In smart grid system there is two way communication is possible which provides a sustainable energy system. For implementation of IOT based communication in microgrid, the flow of energy is managed from the grid to the load side and data is captured as per frequency of requirement. These data is transmitted over a suitable communication channel to the cloud server where all data is taken in SCADA system with the help of PLC in representable form. The main objective is to optimize the data of microgrid efficiently and so that the decision of managing the energy at common busbar can be taken and expedite for real time monitoring.

Since time immemorial women had an inferior position in almost every sphere. When we turn to history, the situation is no different. From the 1960s, with the feminist writings reaching a new height, a critical approach towards the past, history developed. The feminists developed a strong critique of the discipline of history. The main attempt of this paper is to analyse the new elements that feminist history has brought to the existing historical methods. In doing so, a whole lot of new terminology, critical approaches, discourses will be discussed, essentially from the perspectives of the leading feminist historians.

ABSTRACT The modern technological state intensifies the conflict between environmental values and developmental needs. Legal strategies are necessary to reconcile this conflict and to augment social development. Developmental activities even though necessary may cause several negative impacts on the environment. However, developmental projects cannot be stalled for environment as they are necessary for the survival of mankind. Thus, it is essential to strike a balance between environmental protection and developmental needs so that both can co-exist. The recent Kancha Gachibowli row has raised serious questions in the minds of citizens. Can trees be just cut like that in the guise of development? Can the government distort the habitation of animals? Are there no laws and regulations to protect the forests and animals? If there are laws, why did the incident happen? Who is to be held accountable in such situations? These are some of the common questions. The article aims to analyze the counterplay between developmental needs and conservation of forest. In India the protection of forest and wildlife is ensured through various judicial pronouncements and enactments. Over the years the Supreme Court through various judgments has played a vital role in the conservation of forests. Legislations like The Indian Forest Act, 1927, The Forest Conservation Act, 1980 and The Environment Protection Act, 1986 contains comprehensive provisions on the protection and preservation of environment. The Article aims to analyze the above laws.

Abstract: Jerry Pinto's A Book of Light: When a Loved One Has a Different Mind is a poignant anthology that brings together fragmented narratives from individuals who have lived with or cared for loved ones experiencing mental illness. This paper examines the representation of mental illness through select fragmented narratives from the book, focusing on how these personal accounts illuminate the emotional, social, and psychological dimensions of caregiving and living with mental health challenges. The fragmented structure of the anthology mirrors the disjointed and multifaceted nature of mental illness itself, offering readers an intimate glimpse into the complexities of such experiences. Each narrative in A Book of Light provides a unique perspective, ranging from stories about schizophrenia to depression and other mental health conditions. These accounts highlight themes such as stigma, familial relationships, societal ostracization, and the resilience required to navigate life alongside someone with a "different mind." By employing fragmented storytelling, Pinto allows for a multiplicity of voices that resist homogenizing or simplifying the experience of mental illness. This approach not only underscores the individuality of each story but also reflects broader cultural attitudes toward mental health. The paper focuses on "Daniella" by Patricia Mukhim, "Papa Elsewhere" by Sukant Deepak. These stories deal with Bipolar Disorder, and critically examine the narratives as powerful tools for fostering empathy and understanding while challenging stereotypes surrounding mental illness. Through its raw and unfiltered accounts, A Book of Light becomes both a literary exploration and a social commentary on caregiving, love, loss, and resilience in the face of mental health struggles.
