LC-MS is a technique that combines physical separation capabilities of liquid chromatography with mass analysis compatibilities of mass spectrometry. It is a method that combines separation power of HPLC with detection power of mass spectroscopy. In LC-MS we remove detector from the column of LC and fit the column to interface of MS In the most of the cases the interfaces used in LC-MS are ionization source. The basic theory of HPLC is for separating a complex mixture into its components. High sensitivity of mass spectroscopy provides the information for identification compounds. As the metabolites appears the end of the column, they enter mass detector where the solvent is removed and metabolites are ionized. The use of LC-MS in toxicology laboratory is for drug conformation testing of an immune assay screen and for broad spectrum drug screening. Multiple different LC-MS platform including LC-TOF and LC-orbitrap have been used for toxicology testing. In addition, multiple different data acquisition modes have been described including target, Acquisition methods with & without data dependent acquisition of product ions spectra. This chapter highlights two LC-MS applications including opioid conformation testing, broad-spectrum drug screening laboratories experience with method development, validation and implementation.

The sociological study of literature is the study of the social significance of a society reflected in a literature and its social existence. Its main goal is the interpretation of the sociality or social side of literature. The sociological study of literature paves the way for a theoretical study of how society is reflected in the literature as a mirror of society. Human literature as one of the greatest living beings is one of the greatest artistic artifacts. On the other hand, the way the society is involved in this pattern is absolutely relevant. Therefore, it is a matter of great judgment that the sociological aspect of how the social mind has moved or in what form it has been established in the literature on the basis of which the monument of great literature has been created. The proposed research article attempts to discuss the sociology of literature: A study.

Magical Realism is a term invented by Franz Roh who developed this post-modern technique in American Literature. Gabriel Garcia Marquez is the pioneer of using this term. His debut novel One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967) lays highly on this post-modern technique. It was popularized in Latin American fiction. Paulo Coelho is an eminent writer in Latin-American literature and he used magical realism in all of his novels. The Alchemist has attained the name of the bestselling novel which dominantly has the gist of magical realism through the entire narrative. It's the story of a young boy who runs behind his dreams to find his dream treasure he travels to the Egyptian Pyramid. Coelho's sequel novel Brida is a story of a young girl who curiously needs to learn necromancy. Similarly, Indian Writing in English novels also has post-modern, post-colonial, and new historicism techniques. Salman Rushdie's Midnight Children has this post-modern technique. Manohar Malgonkar's Combat of Shadows (1962) is known as a colonial novel that has a magical realism aspect in one section. Ruby Miranda is the protagonist of the novel and she is an Anglo-Indian girl who once meets a local wizard named Bichwa Baba. This present study aims to focus on how realistic things were turned into magical powers by Baba and his power of healing both the protagonist and her mother.

This comparative study delves into the portrayal of feminist ideology in two poignant poems: Kamala Das's "An Introduction" and Rukmini Bhaya Nair's "Kali". Both poems are celebrated pieces of feminist literature, exploring the complex intersectionalities of gender, identity, and societal expectations. Through a close examination of linguistic choices, thematic elements, and cultural contexts, this paper seeks to unravel the nuanced representations of feminism in the works of these two renowned Indian poets. Kamala Das, known for her bold and confessional style, confronts patriarchal norms head-on in "An Introduction." Through a deeply personal narrative, Das challenges traditional gender roles and embraces her identity with unapologetic defiance. On the other hand, Rukmini Bhaya Nair's "Kali" presents a multifaceted exploration of femininity, drawing from Hindu mythology to subvert conventional notions of female power and agency. Nair's poem navigates themes of oppression, resilience, and liberation, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of the fierce goddess Kali. By juxtaposing these two poems, this study aims to highlight the diverse manifestations of feminist thought within Indian literature. Through comparative analysis, it illuminates the distinct voices and strategies employed by Das and Nair in their respective poetic endeavours. Furthermore, this research underscores the relevance of these works in shaping conversations surrounding gender equality and empowerment in contemporary society, both within India and on a global scale.

The Autism Support System aims to enhance the learning and emotional development of children diagnosed with autism through innovative technologies. The emotion recognition module detects and classifies emotions from facial expressions, providing audio feedback and maintaining logs of detected emotions. In cases of frequent distress detection, an emergency SMS is sent to parents. The hand gesture recognition module enables children to play songs based on their facial expressions, fostering a multimodal interaction experience. The emotion gaming module engages children in interactive games that promote the recognition and understanding of emotions. This paper presents the system's architecture, design, implementation, and testing, along with the results and potential future improvements. The study demonstrates the potential of leveraging advanced technologies to support the emotional and social development of children with autism, offering a promising tool for therapists, educators, and caregivers. By integrating facial recognition, gesture recognition, and emotion-based gaming, the system provides a comprehensive platform for emotion detection and interaction.. This review aims to not only become a reference for future research on emotion recognition, but also to provide an overview of the work done in this topic for potential readers.

This paper investigates the perception and satisfaction levels of households in Calicut District, Kerala, regarding rooftop solar systems. With Kerala's increasing interest in renewable energy and the unique socio-economic context of Calicut District, understanding household perceptions and experiences with rooftop solar is crucial for promoting sustainable energy adoption locally. The study employs a mixed-method approach, combining surveys and interviews to gather comprehensive data. Key findings highlight varying levels of awareness influenced by demographic factors such as income and education. Satisfaction is examined through factors like installation process, energy savings, and environmental impact. The paper concludes with implications for local policymakers and practitioners aiming to enhance rooftop solar adoption and satisfaction among households in Calicut District.

Accurate weather forecasting is essential for various applications, including agriculture, disaster management, and daily planning. This study explores the use of machine learning techniques to predict weather conditions using Python. By leveraging historical weather data, we employ several machine learning algorithms, such as linear regression, decision trees, random forests, and neural networks, to develop predictive models. The data is preprocessed to handle missing values and normalized to ensure efficient training. Feature engineering techniques are applied to extract significant patterns and trends. The models are evaluated based on their predictive accuracy, using metrics like mean squared error (MSE) and R-squared values. Our results demonstrate that machine learning can provide reliable and accurate weather forecasts, with some models outperforming traditional statistical methods.
