In this paper, the researcher has analyzed the components of the income and expenditure pattern of Madurai DCCB. He has also explored the growth of interest income, growth of other income, growth of total income, growth of interest paid, growth of operating and other expenses, and net profit growth of MDCCB. The share of interest income to the total income of Madurai DCCB was more than 90 percent in all the years of the study period. On the other hand, interest paid had a significant share of Madurai DCCB. It indicates that the Madurai DCCB concentrated only on traditional businesses like accepting deposits and providing loans.

In order to achieve the goals, the college library's primary duties are to support and facilitate academic research and works. It supports the reading needs and demands of the college's teachers and students in their pursuit of knowledge. The college library offers the books and documents required for research, learn and grow. Technical libraries acquire books, journals, magazines, references, algorithms, tables, charts, audio video lectures and many more on engineering and related topics because users are the main actors in the information system. To achieve the goal of librarianship, which is to deliver precise, timely, expeditious, and accurate information to the right reader at the right time at the right place, library staff at the engineering institute spend enormous sums of money and collect various pieces of recorded information in printed and electronic forms. These well-stocked libraries offer ICT services in addition to their print and electronic resources. Therefore, it becomes important to carry out a study on how these libraries are used.

New potential chemotherapeutic strategies are required to overcome multidrug resistance (MDR) in cancer. In this study, Antibacterial activities of the synthesized compounds were evaluated against gram (+) Staphylococcus aureus and gram (-) Klebsilla aerogenes by measuring zone of inhibition. The antifungal activities of the synthesized compounds were evaluated against Candida albicans by disc diffusion method. Compounds screened for antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli. and antifungal activity against Candida albicans, Aspergillus Niger by cup plate method. All the compounds of the series were screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activity studies. Substitution of hydroxyl and halo groups emerged as active in both antibacterial and antifungal screening. The reported antibacterial activity of 3-benzoyl-2-oxo/thioxo-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydropyrimidine analogues. 5-Acyl-6-methyl-4-substituted-2-oxo/thioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidines were synthesized by cyclocondensation reaction between appropriate aldehyde, acetoacetate and urea/thiourea in presence of aluminium chloride and hydrochloric acid which upon treatment with benzoyl chloride in presence of aluminium chloride in presence of pyridine in benzene furnish the title compounds. The compounds have been tested for antibacterial activity against staphylococcus aureus

The present study is to optimize and characterize a Nanostructured Lipid Carrier (NLC) loaded transdermal drug delivery system loaded by antifungal drug. The goal of this research is to optimize the NLCs and to study its potential for the topical delivery of Luliconazole by prolonging the drug release through the NLC transdermal gel. Preformultion studies for the drug and excipients studies are carried out by IR. Pre-optimization studies were carried out for the selection of suitable formulation variables from lipids, surfactant and process variables from ultrasonication time. From the selected variables, 15 NLC formulation were designed by using Solvent diffusion technique and optimized based on the impact of independent variable on dependent variables like Particle Size and percentage Entrapment Efficiency (% EE) by applying Box- Behnken design utilizing multiple linear regression method (Design expert software). The selected optimized NLC formulation was fabricated into transdermal gel. It was evaluated for viscosity, Drug content, pH, Spread ability and In vitro diffusion studies.

After the incident of a sub station building collapse in our organisation, the department has decided to check the structural stability of the old buildings which were constructed before the year 2000. We have performed the NDT tests to assess the health of the buildings and every thing is recorded. This paper is based on this project.

The increasing tempo of construction activity has led to the requirement of good soil whose availability is less hence, there is need of improving the soil condition which can be accomplished through ground improvement methods. Among all the ground improvement techniques, soil reinforcement is emerging as an attractive alternative. The addition of natural fibre to the soil is very good soil reinforcement technique. Coir fibre extracted from the outer shell of the coconut can be effectively used to tackle many short term stability issue in geotechnical engineering. Coir fibre having high lignin content and less cellulose content than fibres such as flax and cotton, which makes it stronger but less flexible. Coir is bio-degradable product and it takes approximately 20 years to degrade over the ground and with suitable coating takes about 4-5 years to decompose under the burial condition. It is moth-proof, resistant to fungi and rot, provide excellent insulation against temperature and sound, not easily combustible, flame-retardant, unaffected by moisture and dampness, tough and durable, resilient, spring back to shape even after constant use and have low thermal conductivity and bulk density. The present study is focussed on modifying the geotechnical properties of soil by reinforcing it with different percentages of coir fibre in the soil obtained from the Gautam Budh Nagar region of District, Delhi NCR. For this study coir fibre was purchased from the local market of New Delhi. The study is conducted in two phases. In the first phase, the geotechnical properties of soil were studied by conducting laboratory tests. In the second phase, soil mixed with four different percentages of coir fibre i.e., 0.25 %, 0.50%, 0.75%, and 1% were subjected to various tests.
