 Abstract

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS Standards) is a single set of accounting standards, developed and maintained by the International Accounting Standards Board (the Board) with the intention of those standards being capable of being applied on a globally consistent basis with the ability to compare the financial performance of publicly listed companies on a like-for-like basis with their international peers. The paper tries to understand the procedure by which the IFRS has been adopted by companies in India. And also tried to examine the utility of Indian companies by adopting IFRS. The paper also reveals the challenges raised by the adoption of IFRS . The paper concludes by calling the lawmakers to do the necessary amendments in the existing Companies Act 1956 and also emphasises the need for training the professionals for facilitating the easy adoption of IFRS in India.

 Abstract

This research paper is written to glorify the good and bad aspects of covid-19 on students and teachers and how they have to deal with the problems faced by them during the pandemic. A large number of unskilled people have been graduated in last 3 years at the time of covid-19 pandemic which is going to cause to major problem in every sector as all the students have been studied online. So many problems have been found in them which is shown in different fields like some are in technical field but they cannot communicate well or they cannot present themselves more effectively or in a meaningful manner at the time of interview. People belonging to poor families who cannot even arrange proper gadgets to take online classes to do wok or take online training to get a job. Teachers also have to face problem as they have never been used to these gadgets for teaching purpose and they must learn many new things to teach in online classes. This is a starting challenge for all to be perfect in technical manner.

 Abstract

Abstract There is no doubt that fact that insecurity has been one of the major concerns to both past and present governments in Nigeria. This is as a result of the Nigerian history and development challenges that have been continuously rooted in conflicts and instability. Various governments have made several efforts aimed at addressing the situation ranging from the creation of various security agencies and several reforms of the existing ones as well as various forms of youth empowerment, yet the security challenges continued. Therefore, the objective of this study is to find out if the rate of unemployment and lack of youth empowerment in the country especially in the Federal Capital Territory is the reason why the country has continued to remain unsafe for the citizens. The study was anchored on human security theory as its point of departure while quantitative research design which made use of the survey method was employed to accomplish the purpose of the study. The data for the study were generated through structured questionnaire items and focus group discussions. 400 respondents were purposively selected from the study area. Three points Likert-type scale was employed in data collection and to measure the magnitude of the responses. Data collected were analyzed using percentages. The findings show that youth unemployment and lack of empowerment as well as the character of the Nigerian state are the major causes of insecurity in Nigeria. It equally shows that the government has not made serious efforts to address the unemployment rate and acquisition of skills, especially for the youths. The paper, therefore, recommends among others that governments at all levels should empower the youths a productive and skills manpower development as a security measure. Also, the government should empower the youth through a soft loan to enable them to start some businesses of their own, while the government continues to monitor the beneficiaries, offering them advice and guidance where necessary.

 Abstract

The motivation behind this article is to recognize the present trends, issues and challenges in physical education and sports at higher education would be examined. There are different elements which are reducing the interest of students in physical education exercises. Despite the fact that the physical education is being instructed as a piece of educational plan in every one of the schools and universities yet absence of satisfactory time and prepared educators, great offices are liable for little interest in this field. The future challenges to make this field interesting includes a satisfactory educational program, adequate supports portion for holding different rivalries and role of technology to make awareness about the significance of physical exercises and sports in the day by day life of adolescents. Every one of these challenges have been talked about in this article.

 Abstract

This paper is entrusted to examine the relationship between unemployment and moonlighting in Slovakia. The application of ADF test on quarterly data of Slovakia from the first quarter of 1998 to the last quarter of 2020 confirms that the series on moonlighting is I(0) while the series on unemployment is I(1). ARDL Bounds Test is applied to uncover any cointegrating relationship between unemployment and moonlighting in Slovakia. The estimated value of F test is less than the lower bound of ARDL Bounds Test. Therefore, long run relationship between unemployment and moonlighting in Slovakia is not confirmed.

 Abstract

BLDC motor is broadly utilized in several industries like for making electrical vehicles. Low ripple input supply and an appropriate speed controller are required to achieve the desired motor performance. PID controllers can be utilised for speed control due to its benefits of rapid response time and error removal. Regenerative braking system is the best solution for utilising wasted energy which is generated while applying brake in electrical vehicle. In this paper speed control strategy with regenerative braking system is proposed with the help of PID controller and boost converter which is simple to implement .It is capable to be operated in lower speed due to adding boost converter for regenerative braking system. To verify the analysis, simulations works were done. They show the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

 Abstract

Agriculture is the predominant occupation of the over whelming number of households in the study area. The traditional crops on the uneconomic holdings used to be barley, buckwheat, pulses, local peas (black pea) mustard etc. Out of total owned land 435.11 hectares, net area sown has been worked out 281.69 hectares constituting 64.74 per cent area under crops to land utilization, the cropping pattern in the study area is one of the important indicators to determine the extent to which an efficient use of land is being made. Since the holdings are very small, the intensity of cropping is low and subsistence living was the core of the agricultural economy of the sample households in seventies. The tribal district Lahaul-Spiti of Himachal Pradesh has been endowed with varied climatic and topographical conditions which have provided the area with varied agro-potential. Although the agro-climatic conditions prevailing the study area are quite conducive to the production of cash crops like potato, green peas, vegetables, apple, non-food grain crops like manu and kuth yet the varied climatic and topographic conditions restrict the areas for crop specific in its cultivation. Marginal and small farmers are still reluctant to convert their land to cash crops due to insecurity about having food for surviual, food habit also discourage to shift in area for commercial crops in a short growing period.

This article provides a summary of numerous learning-based approaches that Robot motion planning issues have been addressed using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques. These learning-based approaches either make use of For some activities, humans have designed rewards, or they can learn from successful planning experiences. The traditional notion of motion planning and definitions linked to learning are presented in this article.
