 Abstract

Deep learning (DL) has proven beneficial in medical imaging, and several research have begun to study DL-based solutions for the aided detection of lung disorders in the aftermath of the recent COVID19 epidemic. While previous research has focused on Chest Computed Tomography (CT) scans, this study investigates the use of Deep learning approaches to analyse lung ultrasonography (LUS) data. Which provide a new completely annotated dataset of lung ultrasonography images are gathered from multiple hospitals and some web resources, with reflecting labels shows the severity of illness at the frame and pixel levels. At frame levels, deep networks having Spatial Transformational Network (STN) are introduced to analyse the severity of disease automatically in lung ultrasonography images. In this proposed system, a deep network named Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) based transfer learning is used and developed from Spatial Transformer Networks (STN) that which predicts the disease from the given image. Once after the disease prediction, U-Net Will applied for the segmentation of the predicted disease part from the given image.

 Abstract

With the increase in the number of complex high rise buildings, ensuring safety is a primary requisite. In the event of an emergency such as an earthquake or a fire, the protocol followed is exiting the building as soon as possible. But in such modern day complex buildings, evacuation becomes slightly more complicated as they have multiple levels, limited exits and house larger number of people. This calls for a system that evacuates people efficiently. The Emergency Evacuation System (EES) based on Internet of Things (IoTs) aims to achieve an effective evacuation process that ensures safety and minimum casualties using sensors for early detection and monitoring, an alarm for warning about the casualty and application for evacuee guidance and easy navigation. In the occurrence of an emergency, the EES detects it, alerts the civilians in the building and provides guidance through an application.  Abstract

In recent years, wireless technology is in demand. The researchers are doing research in designing technology-based, multiple application-oriented, efficient, and cost-effective RF structures. Incorporating all requirements of existing industries, various wireless applications-oriented, negative refractive index-based antenna structure is designed and analysed in this paper. The claimed antenna resonates at 3.10GHz and 4.33 GHz frequencies. The output parameters show very good potential for mobile communication applications.

 Abstract

Health is one of most important indicators of quality of human life which is part of right to life considered as one of fundamental rights. The health status of women in Kinnaur is not altogether different from other parts of the country. Unlike others, women in polyandrous family face difficult situation whether it is related to physical or emotional. They have to be stronger and very good at decision making. Women in polyandry family have to deal with more than one husbands and children. Each husbands had its physical as well as emotional needs, the wife have to cater all these needs without hurting or disturbing her relation with co-spouses. Besides this women have to maintain a balanced relation with in-laws as well as equal care & attention to all children. This interesting institution of human society is quite distinct from all other social institutions and customs. The present study deals with the tribal women of Himachal Pradesh, who live in Kinnaur and practice polyandry marriage system. This paper attempts to understand health issue like physical health, health care facility, and menstruation related problems of women in Polyandrous household

 Abstract

This project proposes a design and development technique for bandwidth enhancement of cylindrical dielectric resonator (DRA) energized with an L Aperture feed is presented, which is suitable for wideband application. It is implemented by modifying the dimensions of Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (CDRA). It reduces the effective permittivity because effective permittivity is inversely proportional to resonant frequency, so that it increases the resonant frequency of Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA). The substrate and Dielectric material used for investigation is Rogers RT 5880 and Alumina Ceramic of dielectric constant 9.9. Parametric analysis on the antenna is performed using Ansoft HFSS solver by varying different parameter and shape of Dielectric Resonator and length of feed line. The objective of this project is to optimize antenna parameters and thereby study the effects of antenna dimensions Length (L), Width (W) and substrate parameters, relative dielectric constant, substrate thickness on its performance. The novel exciting technique achieves a 2:1 VSWR bandwidth of 11.76% and peak and average gain of the proposed antenna is 8.92dBi. This project introduces to design antenna operating at 4.42GHz based on the Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (CDRA) radius of 10 mm and height of 10mm. The variation of bandwidth for different feed parameters is also studied. High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software will be used to design a Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna.

 Abstract

With the coming of the pandemic, everything has changed. It has changed the way people use to visit malls, make purchases, watch movies, eat at the eating lounge. The present study tries to find and observe impact of covid-19 on the behavior of consumers in the shopping malls and find ways to deal with the current situation. It tends to give a detailed description of the work done by the researcher in this field. The paper is a comparative study of how people visit shopping malls and make use of the facilities of the shopping malls before the pandemic and after the pandemic. It also studies how males and females are dealing with the situation, do they feel safe while using facilities provided in the shopping malls. The current study was carried out right after the lockdown, when the malls were permitted to reopen.

 Abstract

Insect play crucial role in maintaining the ecosystem services. Insects affect ecosystem services in different way such as positive and negative. In positive way they do pollination, aeration, seed dispersal and decomposition of dead organic matter and in negative manner they do voracious feeding on crops & plants and affect their annual production. In this study researcher observed all the functions which are performed by a variety of insect. Researcher observed corpse decomposition by a variety of insect like flesh fly larvae, blow fly larvae, rove beetle, ants etc. These arrived at decomposition site in different time interval to decompose the corpse. Different flies, ants and beetles performed the pollination process. In which honey bee has special type of structures in their hind legs known as pollen basket to collect the pollen of the flowers. In this row ants indirectly enhance the fertility of soil by forming a tunnel. Fresh water indicators also recorded by researcher. Above all the phenomenon observed by the researcher during visit to agriculture field, stagnant water body, lotic water body, nursery, forest area, terrestrial & desert habitat. The purpose of this study to examine the role of insect plays in ecosystem and the services that insect provide to us.
