Assertiveness is accepting ourselves and others; it is a skill-based on honest, real self, expressing genuine personal viewpoints, claiming one's entitlements, and achieving one's interests while taking into account the opinions, entitlements, and interests of everyone else. Assertiveness is essential in a student's life especially in nursing students as they are the backbone of professional nurses of tomorrow. To ensure competent and safe practice, they must be individuals with high assertiveness skills. A quantitative research approach was used. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 60 B.Sc. final year nursing student (30 experimental group and 30 control group) from SGT University and Amity University. Informed Consent was taken from the B.Sc. final year nursing student. A questionnaire on selected social demographic variable and a standardized Rathus assertiveness schedule were used to assess the level of assertiveness. The data was analysed by using Descriptive and Inferential statistics. Frequency and percentage distribution was used for demographic variable and assessing effectiveness of intervention program on selected assertiveness techniques. Chi square test was used to analyse association between post-test level of assertiveness with selected social demographic variables. Result revealed that the post-test mean score in the experimental group was 14.83 with S.D 13.110 and the post-test mean score in the control group was -1.07 with S.D 21.678. The calculated unpaired, "t" value of t = 4.696 with df value (58) was found to be statistically significant at 0.05 level of significance as p value (p=0.001). It can be concluded that there is effectiveness after the administration of intervention program on selected assertiveness techniques among B.Sc. final year nursing students in the experimental group and there is no effectiveness in control group. Level of assertiveness highly increases in the post-test from pretest in the experimental group.

1. The human resource canvas of any organization includes performance management, dimensions of organizational culture including autonomy, equity, conflict, problem solving attitudes, work value, consideration and warmth, duly supported by inspirational leadership and a nuanced approach to dissent management, towards achieving organizational efficacy. Performance management including dissent (disagreement, discord, difference of opinion etc) is an integral part of the human resource mosaic in any organisation including the Indian Armed Forces. Successful organizations recognise, accept and diligently manage dissent in all forms be it articulated, latent or displaced for enhancing efficacy and achievement of organizational objectives. Apropos, under the umbrella of Human resource - Performance Management, the selected sub area for research is 'Dissent Management in Indian Armed Forces'. 2. The Indian Armed Forces operate in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. This dynamism brings with it multifarious intrinsic and extrinsic challenges, for effective military leadership. All military leaders are accountable for their actions and thus, management of dissent, is considered vital to accomplishment of organisational objectives. The Indian Armed Forces possess a unique culture with minor distinctions between the Service specific organizational culture of the Army, Navy and the Air Force respectively. However, in spite of the unique organisational culture and policies, the Indian Armed Forces face diverse challenges in human resource aspects leading to dissent in any form, its manifestations and management thereof. Apparently, there seems to be a significant difference in the perception on the adequacy of dissent management strategies in Indian Armed Forces for optimal organisational efficacy, especially for joint structures. It may be a manifestation of the Service specific culture or simply human nature, wherein any form of criticism/ difference of opinion could be treated with indifference. This could result in a tendency to dismiss any organizational dissent as inconsequential or avoidable inconvenience. 3. The moot question is whether acceptance or mere recognition is enough or management i.e., genuine concern towards a workable solution, is the way forward. Further, efficacy of the system in terms of successfully realigning the organizational approach to dissent management and its relationship with the Service specific Culture, merits a de novo look. 4. The Armed Forces thrive on trust and teamwork which demands transparency through a two-way feedback system. The dissent management process needs to be participative wherein either a consensus or a fair agreement with the decisions, can be reached. While policy certain guidelines on dissent management exist in the Indian Armed Forces, the suitability of the extant approach towards dissent management for emerging joint structures and its relationship with organizational culture for achieving organizational efficacy thereof, has not been sufficiently explored. 5. This study explores the perceived approach to dissent management in Indian Armed Forces and the relationship between organizational culture, dissent management strategies and organizational performance while assessing the suitability of the extant approach to dissent management for joint structures.

Parada (mercury) is one of the most extensively described metals in Ayurvedic pharmacology. Revered as a Rasayana and Yogavahi (catalyst), it is considered as sacred and powerful when processed properly [1]. The concept of Bhasma preparation involves converting metals into absorbable and safe ash-like forms through purification and incineration. Parada Bhasma exemplifies this transformation and has been used for centuries in various formulations, particularly in Rasaushadhis. This article aims to systematically document the classical method of Parada Bhasma preparation and highlight its pharmaceutico-therapeutic significance based on classical texts and contemporary research.

The world of perfumery a classically handmade industry is discreetly slinking into the 21st century with artificial intelligence (AI). We introduce in this paper "ScentSynth", a new AI-based framework targeting the generation of fragrances. By employing olfactory databases, molecular descriptors and consumer taste patterns, the model combines supervised and generative machine learning methods. The goal is to drastically save on time and cost to formulate scent as well as to improve creativity and customization. We advance a naturally evolving technical map of AI in perfumery, build a detailed breakdown of the system architecture, as well as validate the feasibility of the system by deployment and evaluation.

This "study examines the impact of socio-economic background on the identity, self-concept," and self-esteem of children in several areas of Assam. The research acknowledges childhood as a critical phase for psychological and social development, investigating the influence of parental income, education, and employment on these characteristics, while also analyzing gender disparities. A descriptive and inferential survey study approach was utilized, utilizing a self-constructed questionnaire delivered to a stratified random sample of 80 children's aged 14 to 17. Data were examined utilizing "descriptive statistics, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Independent Samples t-tests" with SPSS software. The findings reveal statistically significant differences in identity, self-concept, and self-esteem attributable to variances in parental socio-economic position. Higher parental income, education, and occupational position were specifically correlated with enhanced identity development and elevated self-concept and self-esteem in adolescents. Furthermore, significant disparities in gender were seen, as male individuals had superior scores in both identification and self-concept compared to their female counterparts. These findings highlight the essential influence of socio-economic factors on children's psychological development and stress the necessity for region-specific treatments, inclusive educational policies, and psychosocial support systems adapted to the socio-economic conditions of Assam.

Sports often serve as a powerful arena for exploring adult psychosocial development, highlighting struggles with identity, connection and purpose. The competitive nature of sports can intensify internal conflicts, such as the quest for self-worth or the fear of stagnation. Through victories and defeats, individuals navigate key psychosocial stages, shaping their emotional growth and life perspective. This paper explores the stages of psychosocial development in adulthood as depicted in Aravind Adiga's Selection Day, using Erik Erikson's theoretical concept, focusing on the four important adult stages. This study explores how adult characters grapple with internal conflicts and external pressures, shaping their development through the conflicts and resolutions at each stage of psychosocial growth. It delves into the emotional and psychological struggles of the adult characters as they confront the challenges associated with identity formation, emotional connection, personal contribution and self-reflection. By examining the characters' navigation through the crises of identity confusion, loneliness, stagnation and despair, the paper highlights how unresolved conflicts and societal pressures shape their growth. By investigating the characters' pursuit of athletic glory, personal validation and self-worth, this study highlights how sports serve as a metaphor for broader human struggles with identity, purpose and fulfilment. It reveals how the characters embody the complexities of self-discovery, relationships and the search for meaning, offering a profound reflection on human growth and the enduring impact of unresolved conflicts. Through this analysis, the paper demonstrates how the sports arena captures the complexities of adult development, providing a poignant commentary on human resilience and the lifelong quest for fulfilment.

: Acne vulgaris is a common dermatological condition that significantly impacts adolescents and young adults, often leading to permanent scarring and psychological distress. Traditional treatments, including antibiotics, face challenges due to rising antibiotic resistance. This study explores the formulation of an anti-acne cream using Neem and Clove Oil, known for their antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and skin-healing properties. Aloe Vera and Tulsi are also incorporated for their moisturizing and radiance-enhancing effects. Neem helps reduce inflammation, skin irritation, and bacterial growth, while Clove oil targets acne-causing bacteria and soothes inflammation. Aloe Vera provides hydration and wound healing, and Tulsi improves skin radiance. This herbal cream offers a natural, effective alternative to synthetic acne treatments, addressing acne's physical symptoms and its psychosocial impact. Given the global prevalence of acne and the increasing concern over antibiotic resistance, this study highlights the potential of using natural bioactive compounds in acne management. The cream formulation aims to provide a holistic approach to acne care, promoting skin health while minimizing the risk of side effects commonly associated with conventional treatments.

Liver diseases remain a significant global health concern, contributing to substantial morbidity and mortality due to factors such as viral infections, alcohol abuse, and exposure to hepatotoxic chemicals. Conventional pharmacotherapies for liver disorders are often limited by adverse effects and incomplete efficacy, underscoring the need for safer and more effective alternatives. Medicinal plants have garnered increasing attention for their hepatoprotective potential, attributed primarily to their diverse phytoconstituents, including flavonoids, alkaloids, phenolics, and terpenoids. This review systematically compiles and critically examines the evidence supporting the hepatoprotective activities of various medicinal plants, highlighting their mechanisms of action--such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, membrane-stabilizing, and antifibrotic effects--as demonstrated in preclinical and, in some cases, clinical studies. Among these botanicals, Cosmostigma racemosum (family Asclepiadaceae) remains underexplored despite its traditional use and rich phytochemical profile. No comprehensive pharmacological studies have yet established its hepatoprotective efficacy. Therefore, this review not only synthesizes current knowledge of established hepatoprotective plants but also delineates the rationale for investigating Cosmostigma racemosum as a novel candidate. Future research into this species could reveal promising bioactive compounds capable of mitigating liver injury and enhancing hepatic function. Such investigations are expected to contribute significantly to the development of plant-based hepatoprotective therapeutics with improved safety and efficacy profiles.
