The aim of the study was to examine the 'parent-child relationship and academic achievement of secondary school students'. The sample consisted of 100 students who were studying in 9th standard school in Mysuru district, Hunsur Taluk. Out of 100, 50 boys and 50 girls were selected randomly from rural and urban areas. The results first present the descriptive statistics of individual parent-child relationship and academic achievement. Then the hypotheses related analysis shows the significance of various hypotheses. Finally the correlation of parent-child relationship with academic achievement shows that the dimensions of protection, symbolic reward and loving were positively significant with academic achievement and dimensions like symbolic punishment, object punishment, and neglecting, lesser was the academic achievement of the adolescents and show significant negative relationship.

The infection occurring in any part of the urinary system is a urinary tract infection. It is limited to the lower urinary tract i.e., up to only the bladder and the urethra but, if it is not treated in early times the infection can spread to the kidneys causing a condition of pyelonephritis. This kidney infection can cause permanent kidney damage. This infection can occur at any age and to any gender, but it is more common in women than in men. It is because of the anatomical makeup of the former. Various microbes are pathogenic and cause infection in the urinary tract but amongst them, the microorganism which is majorly seen as the notorious one is Escherichia coli. The bacteria attaches itself to the epithelial wall and overcome the flow of urine. This in a way helps them to remain in the tract and causes infection. The microbe internalizes itself into the cells which creates the chances of recurrent infection. To treat the infection antibiotics are a major help as they bring relief within three days. In recent times this treatment is now not as effective as it was earlier in the past few years. This condition has arrived due to the resistance towards the antibiotic-induced in the microorganism because of the exploitive use of antibiotics. Nowadays an effective approach is being taken which is known as Complementary and Alternative Medicine. This alternative treatment consists of natural compounds such as the use of medicinal plants, dietary supplements, and probiotics used in treating the infection. This treatment is highly popular in USA-like countries because it only cures the infection but also helps in preventing it. There is a new way of treating and preventing the infection by producing vaccines that will train the bladder how to fight off the pathogenic microbe. It becomes easier to cure any disease if it is diagnosed at an early stage. It is the same in the case of UTIs where early detection plays a key role in treating the infection. Here comes artificial intelligence which is used in finding the early symptoms of urinary tract infections.

Orodispersible drug delivery systems are used to improve how much of a drug is absorbed by the body and to make it easier for patients to take their medication. Orodispersible tablets, a new type of medicine, quickly break down in the mouth (within 1-3 minutes) when taken orally, without needing to be chewed or swallowed with water. Compared to regular tablets and capsules, orodispersible tablets (ODT) have gained attention over the past three decades because they offer better patient compliance, increased solubility, and stability. Orodispersible tablets have the special characteristic of rapidly disintegrating within seconds when placed on the tongue, as they mainly consist of medicinal substances in solid form. This innovative ODT technology improves the overall treatment experience for patients, especially those with difficulties swallowing, such as children, older adults, and individuals with psychiatric conditions. This advancement in technology has motivated the academic and industry sectors to develop new ways to formulate and evaluate orally disintegrating medications that will be beneficial for future drug candidates.

Oral hygiene is essential to a person's overall health. To develop an oral care cosmeceutical as tooth whitening formulation, propane extract of whole peel (WBP) and inner peel of banana (BPI) Musa paradisiaca L. were prepared and evaluated for their phytoconstituents. The extracts (WBP) and (BPI) were then used to prepare teeth whitening formulations T2 and T3. The formulations were evaluated with respect to their physico-chemical parameters, stability studies and in-vitro cosmeceutical use as tooth whitening agents in comparison with the commercial standard formulation T4. Statistical results are expressed as : Mean + S.E.M (n 10), the values "P<0.05 is significant as compared to placebo, **P<0.01 is very significant as compared to placebo, ***P<0.001 is highly significant as compared to placebo. The demand for herbal based product such as toothpaste is high these days. Consumers believed by using herbal based toothpaste are safe, effective and less toxicity because less and only safe chemical used as compared to the synthetically produced toothpaste. Therefore, this study was aimed to formulate and evaluate new polyherbal toothpaste which containing herbal extracts that available in Malaysia to treat periodontal problem. The polyherbal toothpaste was formulated using three herbal extracts namely banana peel (Musa acuminate), guava leaves (Psidium guajava) and orange peel (Citrus arranticum) and tested against Staphylococcus aureus. Bacillus cereus. Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa with different concentrations varying from 100 mg/mL. 250 mg/mL and 500 mg/mL. The significant inhibition has seen against Staphylococcus aureus (12-18 mm) followed by Bacillus cereus (11-15 mm) and there is no inhibition for both Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The formulated toothpaste was also evaluated with the standard physiochemical parameters along with the antimicrobial activity. The formulated toothpaste showed potent inhibition against gram positive bacteria but not against gram negative bacteria. Thereby. it opens a window for future study to enhance the ability of the toothpaste and to prove the efficacy and safety of the formulated toothpaste.

Mathadi workers are Head loaders carrying a load of material on their heads or back to stack at the appropriate place. They are regularly engaged with a specific operation such as loading, unloading, stacking, carrying, weighing, measuring, or other work. Mathadi workers develop chronic low back aches because of these cumulative forces passing on the spine with excessive job demands. The fear-avoidance model (FAM) of musculoskeletal pain describes a potential process for the development of chronic pain syndromes. Hence it was necessary to find out the kinesiophobia in Mathadi workers. 40 Mathadi workers with chronic nonspecific low back pain were evaluated for kinesiophobia using the Tampa scale of kinesiophobia TSK-11. This study showed an average score of 22 points on the scale of kinesiophobia, which is considered a very low level for patients with chronic low back pain. Also, the correlation of kinesiophobia score with age, work experience, and pain intensity showed a very weak correlation which was statistically insignificant. These results are different from the previous studies as behavioural responses observed in Mathadi workers show that these workers choose to face pain, believing that the presence of pain does not justify the limitation of their functional activities.

The goal of this study was to create a famotidine floating medication delivery system. The floating microspheres can be created to boost famotidine's absorption and bioavailability by keeping the system in the stomach for a prolonged period of time. Floating microspheres carrying famotidine were produced using a variety of polymers, including ethyl cellulose and hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, using the solvent diffusion-evaporation method. The microspheres featured smooth surfaces, free-flowing behaviour, and good packing. Ethyl cellulose microspheres, with a yield of up to 73.320.14%, contained the most medication. Scanning electron microscopy confirmed their hollow structures with diameters of 331.6 nm. Extended drug release was seen in the created microspheres, and 73.250.23 percent buoyancy was found. The generated batches were examined for % entrapment efficiency, flow characteristics, and yield investigations. The formulations underwent stability testing, and information on in-vitro release and release kinetics was fed into a number of dissolving models. The oral bioavailability, effectiveness, and patient compliance of famotidine floating microspheres were found to be improved by this good and practical strategy for sustained drug release over an extended period of time.

Vitiligo, a common depigmenting skin complaint, has an estimated frequence of0.5- 2 of the population worldwide. Vitiligo is frequently dismissed as a ornamental problem, although its goods can be psychologically ruinous, frequently with a considerable burden on diurnal life. About 80 of vitiligo threat is attributable to inheritable factors; and the rest( 20) is attributable to the terrain. Indeed though vitiligo is constantly dismissed as an esthetic issue, it can have serious internal consequences and significantly intrude with diurnal life. There are multitudinous pharmaceutical procedures available on the request that aim to stop the development of and induce epidermal repigmentation. Variable situations of skin saturation have been observed with similar curatives, either alone or in combination, and their ascendance was safe and effective. There are many vitiligo treatments available, and none of them can reliably beget repigmentation in every existent. Personalized operation is needed depending on terrain, physical appearance, and the presence of illness conditioning. The antedating study aims to give sapience into the implicit prospects of vitiligo drug while also recapitulating the current body of knowledge on the condition.
