University attendance is usually done on paper, which might lead to mistakes. Manually taking attendance takes longer. In the past we were using methods such as roll number calling and circulating attendance sheets to the students which used to cause some issues such as proxy attendance and it used to take so much of time and effort. So, to make this easier, In this project, we used the Raspberry Pi to create an Attendance System.

This paper describes the design and implementation of overload protection for DC motor speed control application based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). A replica of DC motor hardware was modeled for simulation. Two neural network models were designed under no load and rated torque conditions to predict the output voltage to be applied for the given DC motor to achieve desired setpoint speed. From the output of a Proportional Integral (PI) controller the Neural network model will predict the voltage to be applied and a comparator will determine whether the voltage that has to be applied for the current load exceeds than that for the rated torque of the DC motor. The outcome from the comparison is the safety for the equipment by not exceeding rated current value and thereby reduce the thermal degradation of motor windings. A PI controller with delimiter can limit the output of the PI controller and thereby protect the motor windings from higher voltages, still, the windings get degraded when the motor run under overload conditions with lower setpoint speed for longer period. Simulation and real-time experiments along with the results are presented to demonstrate the reliability of the proposed control method over the traditional PI controller in DC motor speed control applications.

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS), a frequent kind of spondyloarthropathy, is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that mostly affects the joints of the spine, producing severe, persistent pain and, in severe cases, spine fusion. In the recent decade, significant progress has been made in terms of pathophysiology and therapy. Innate cytokines and immune cells have been studied. Human leukocyte antigen (HLA)B27 and the interleukin 23/17 axis are thought to be important in the pathophysiology of AS. The pathophysiology of AS, on the other hand, is unknown. The present study looked at the origin and pathophysiology of AS, as well as how it affects people. cytokine pathways and genome-wide association studies The present pharmacological and surgical landscape was also described in this study. Treatment will be followed by a discussion of prospective future therapy. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are currently the first-line drug treatment for inflammatory symptoms. Treatment with NSAIDs, on the other hand, has only a symptomatic effect and is unlikely to change the course of the disease. course. Second-line therapies, such as corticosteroids and other disease-modifying antirheumatic medications, are used for symptoms that are resistant to NSAIDs, although they are of little efficacy. Emerging biological treatments are aimed at the inflammatory processes that cause AS, and hence have the potential to improve the condition. In addition to symptom alleviation, the illness process is aided

The Constitution of India has envisaged three different organs assigning them with their respective roles. It is true that due to change in the society the role of Judiciary has marked significant change from performing its traditional function to a more participatory role thereby catering the needs of the society. The paper attempts to analyse various basic principles which outlines the Indian Constitution i.e. Rule of Law and Separation of Power and the impact of the newly assumed creative role of the Judiciary on these principles. Further, the paper also analyses the impact of the Judicial Activism. And whether Judicial Activism has turned into Judicial Overreach?

The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of total quality management (TQM) practices on employees' work?related attitudes, such as job involvement, job satisfaction, career satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The results indicate that training and education have a significant positive effect on job involvement, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Empowerment and team work significantly enhance job involvement, job satisfaction, career satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Continuous improvement and problem prevention significantly enhance job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Customer focus does not contribute to job involvement, job satisfaction, career satisfaction, or organizational commitment.

Entrepreneurship is not only for one strata of the society. People with disabilities are starting their own ventures and becoming independent. This study is based on the Women Entrepreneurs with disabilities in the city of Mumbai. This study focusses on how differently abled women entrepreneurs have faced the challenges and have become successful in starting their own venture. This paper is a case study of 5 differently abled women entrepreneurs giving details of how they started, what is their venture and how they have overcome their disability. It is recommended that if differently abled women entrepreneurs are given support by their family and are made aware of the various schemes available to them to start their own ventures they can do wonders.

Unified power flow controller (UPFC) is one of the most advanced flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) devices that can simultaneously and independently control both the real and reactive power flow in a transmission line. The utilization of UPFC can result in significant reliability benefits in modern power systems. This paper proposes a novel reliability network model for a UPFC, which incorporates the logical structure and the distinct operating modes of a UPFC. Two-state or three-state models have been used for UPFC by previous researchers. The proposed model divides the UPFC operating modes into four states, namely the UPFC up state, STATCOM state, SSSC state and UPFC down state, in order to improve the accuracy of the model by recognizing the practical operating states of a UPFC. The new model also incorporates an AC flow-based optimal load shedding approach to assess the impact of bus voltages and reactive power flow on UPFC in order to decide appropriate load curtailment in the reliability evaluation process. The performance of the proposed model is verified using a test system, and compared with different reliability models of UPFC. Various operating schemes, such as different placement locations of UPFC, and different capacities of UPFC are used to illustrate the advantages of the developed models, and to examine the impacts of UPFC on the system reliability.
