Among the percussion instruments of Hindustani classical music, the tabla has achieved a distinctive position because of its tonal variety, rhythmic flexibility, and extensive use in both solo and accompanying roles. The artistic language of the instrument is expressed through bols, which function as the primary units of rhythmic articulation and are produced through specific techniques on the dayan and bayan. This paper explores the principal tabla bols and examines their methods of execution, acoustic characteristics, and significance in performance practice. Special emphasis is placed on the relationship between tabla and pakhawaj, two percussion traditions that share important technical and historical connections. By comparing corresponding strokes, hand movements, and sound-producing mechanisms, the study demonstrates how several elements of tabla technique developed from earlier pakhawaj practices while gradually adapting to the structural design of the instrument. The discussion further highlights the role of fundamental bols in shaping rhythmic expression, tonal clarity, and stylistic identity. The findings suggest that the evolution of tabla represents a process of continuity and innovation in which inherited percussion techniques were transformed into an independent and sophisticated performance system. Such an understanding contributes to the broader study of Indian percussion traditions and their historical development.

ABSTRACT Plant pest and disease management, especially in the early stages of infestation, is a critical challenge that poses significant threats and has potential to devastate agricultural crops, causing total yield loss and food insecurity. Traditional inspection methods are time-consuming and prone to errors due to limited labor expertise. Therefore, to tackle these challenges, harnessing advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Machine Learning/Deep Learning (ML/DL), and Internet of Things (IoT) is essential for managing and mitigating agriculture hazards. This article presents a comprehensive review of the state-of-the-art DL architectures integrated with IoT-based systems applied to plant pest and disease detection (PPDD) by investigating different potential approaches that have been employed using DL and IoT up to the year 2024 to address challenges in agriculture. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures for image recognition, object detection, and their integration with IoT, embedded into mobile devices and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are explored. Moreover, the research discusses the advantages and limitations of these techniques, emphasizing their architecture design, efficiency and accuracy. The findings demonstrate that there is a tradeoff between robustness and complexity among existing techniques, and authors recommend future trends aimed at creating robust models with fewer parameters that are more accurate and easily implementable on small IoT-based and portable devices suitable for in-field and real time applications. Furthermore, while existing review papers discuss either DL or IoT separately, this research paper uniquely focuses on their combined models, providing a comprehensive overview of the synergistic potential of leveraging IoT-driven technologies alongside advanced DL algorithms to ease the task of researchers in the field of precision agriculture particularly in PPDD.

Modern society has become increasingly fast-paced, technologically driven, and productivity-oriented, contributing to the emergence of autopilot living.This literature review examines the psychological concept of autopilot mode by exploring its theoretical foundations, contributing factors, psychological consequences, and intervention strategies. A qualitative narrative literature review methodology was employed, involving the analysis of academic books, peer-reviewed journal articles, and psychological studies related to automaticity, mindfulness, habit formation, burnout, digital behavior, and emotional regulation.The review findings indicate that although automatic cognitive processing is a normal and necessary aspect of human functioning, excessive reliance on habitual and unconscious behavior may reduce reflective awareness, emotional responsiveness, and intentional decision-making. Factors such as repetitive routines, digital overstimulation, occupational stress, emotional avoidance, and productivity-centered lifestyles were identified as major contributors to unconscious living patterns. The literature further revealed several psychological consequences associated with autopilot functioning, including emotional numbness, anxiety, depression, burnout, reduced life satisfaction, identity disconnection, and relationship difficulties.The review also highlights the effectiveness of intervention strategies such as mindfulness meditation, behavioral novelty, digital detoxification, physical exercise, and psychotherapy in promoting conscious awareness, emotional regulation, and psychological flexibility. The findings suggest that autopilot living is both a psychological and societal phenomenon shaped by modern environmental conditions. While automaticity supports efficient daily functioning, excessive dependence on unconscious behavioral patterns may negatively affect psychological well-being and meaningful life engagement. Therefore, promoting mindfulness, reflective awareness, and intentional living appears essential for maintaining psychological health in contemporary society.

Background: Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common gynecological conditions affecting young women and is frequently associated with physical, psychological, and functional limitations. In students, dysmenorrhea may adversely affect, attendance, concentration, academic performance and overall quality of life. Physiotherapy students may be particularly affected because their curriculum requires active participation in practical and clinical training in addition to academic coursework. Aim: To investigate the perception of dysmenorrhea and its impact on academic and clinical performance among physiotherapy students. Methodology: A cross-sectional survey-based study was conducted among 240 physiotherapy students. Participants aged 18-25 years were recruited through convenience sampling. Data were collected using a validated self-reported questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis. Results: Among the participants, 78.7% reported painful menstrual cramps. Academic performance was perceived to be affected by 69.3% of students. Lack of concentration (77.5%) and difficulty studying (57.8%) were the most reported academic challenges. Difficulty during clinical hours was reported by 83.6% of students, while 75.8% reported limitations in activities of daily living. Furthermore, 83.2% had trouble in travelling and participating in social activities during menstruation. Conclusion: Dysmenorrhea is highly prevalent among physiotherapy students and has a considerable impact on academic performance, clinical participation, and daily functioning. Increased awareness, early management, and institutional support may help reduce the burden of dysmenorrhea and improve student well-being.

Customer feedback has evolved from a simple measure of customer satisfaction to an important source of business intelligence. Advances in analytics, artificial intelligence, and big data technologies allow organizations to analyze large volumes of feedback and extract meaningful insights. This paper examines the concept of Customer Feedback Intelligence (CFI) and its role in improving products, services, and customer experiences. Drawing on literature from business analytics, innovation management, and customer experience research, the study proposes a framework linking customer feedback analysis to organizational performance. Background / Introduction The non-surgical correction of borderline skeletal Class III malocclusions and severe anterior open bites presents a significant clinical challenge in fixed orthodontics. While orthognathic surgery is the definitive solution for severe craniofacial discrepancies, patient constraints and risks frequently necessitate conservative camouflage alternatives. Traditional straight-wire mechanics often fall short in these scenarios, inducing unwanted dentoalveolar side effects without correcting the underlying vertical or sagittal architecture. The Multiloop Edgewise Archwire (MEAW) technique offers an alternative philosophy, emphasizing three-dimensional control of the dentition and reconstruction of the functional occlusal plane (FOP) to manage complex malocclusions. Objectives This review synthesizes historical data and contemporary clinical evidence to evaluate the biomechanical mechanisms, clinical efficacy, and long-term stability of the MEAW appliance in facilitating therapeutic mandibular adaptation and stable non-surgical camouflage. Methods / Biomechanical Mechanisms The MEAW appliance utilizes five independent horizontal boot loops per quadrant to reduce the load-deflection rate to nearly 1/10th of a standard continuous wire, delivering light, continuous, physiologic forces while allowing localized, segmental tooth control. The core mechanism targets "posterior discrepancy"--the structural crowding and mesial tipping of posterior molars that breaks the curve of Spee into a pathogenic Double Occlusal Plane (DOP). Through progressive second-order tip-back activations ($3^circ$ to $5^circ$) combined with intermaxillary vertical elastics, the MEAW appliance uprights and relative-intrudes the posterior segment, eliminating the premature vertical fulcrum and leveling the FOP. Results Synthesized literature and high-level retrospective data demonstrate that flattening the FOP with MEAW induces significant functional spatial re-orientation of jaw relationships. Mandibularly, unlocking the occlusion allows for favorable condylar adaptation within the glenoid fossa, resulting in a consistent reduction of the SNB angle. Maxillary-wise, flattening the plane alters the local vertical dimension and induces a spatial re-orientation of Point A relative to the Basion-Nasion plane, significantly improving the BaNA angle and soft-tissue profile harmony. Furthermore, by merging the DOP into a cohesive functional unit that matches the neuromuscular vectors of the stomatognathic system, MEAW demonstrates superior long-term retention and minimized relapse rates compared to traditional anterior extrusion methods. Conclusions / Modern Evolutions Reconstructing the functional occlusal plane via the MEAW appliance provides an effective, evidence-based modality for non-surgical camouflage. Although traditional MEAW therapy is limited by strict oral hygiene demands and heavy reliance on patient compliance with elastics, modern hybrid protocols integrating Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) and advanced, low-modulus materials like GUM Metal successfully mitigate these drawbacks. When guided by precise diagnostic thresholds and Denture Frame Analysis, dynamic occlusal plane alteration serves as a highly stable, functional alternative to invasive surgical intervention.
