In India, the farmers still lack real time information about consumers, market demand and prices and are prone to more exploitation by existing intermediaries in the conventional supply chain. With the growth of organized retailing and free global trade, farming is becoming highly knowledge intensive, commercialized, competitive and globalised, making it necessary to digitize, rebuild competitive. In agriculture sector, an efficient supply chains to benefit both the farmer as well as the consumer. Also the urban areas are congested with deteriorating quality of life and highly saturated markets. While nearly 60 per cent of Indias population live in rural areas, and forecasts indicate that these numbers will remain the same, even in 2050. There would be approx. 800 million people living in Indian rural areas in the 2040-50s, providing the scale and the markets for commodity supply chains to thrive. Thus, there is a need for transforming rural India into a group of sophisticated vibrant activity centres. Innovations and transformations will be required in every layer of products, processes, business models, and service models. This study aims to find the different aspects of supply chain of agricultural outputs mainly in Assam and India by and large. The state of Assam is capable of producing many sorts of agricultural commodities but yet to reach the ideal position in terms of supplying and distribution.

To compare outcome of treatment between steroidantibiotic and 10% Ichthammol glycerine packs (IG packs) in acute otitis externa. A prospective study between steroidantibiotic and 10% IG pack which was performed in department of ENT, civil hospital jawalamukhi and civil hospital nagrota bhagwan from July 2019 to may 2020 on 32 patients was conducted. Age group among studied patients ranged from 14 to 56 years, with mean of 36.7 years. Out of which 20 (62.5%) were females and 12 (38.5%) were males. Pain assessed by Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) and edema was assessed by dividing the external auditory canal in two quadrant giving score of 50% for each on the day of presentation and subsequent visits till tragal sign and edema subsided. Average number of visits in 10% IG pack group (n = 16) was 4.6 days (25 visits) while in steroidantibiotic group (n = 16) it was 3.5 days (25 visits). There was statisti- cally significant decrease in the number of visits in steroid group (P 0.05). Similarly, decrease in pain score in second visit was significant in steroid antibiotic group as compared to 10% IG pack whereas it was statistically highly significant on third visit (P = 0.001). Since the reduction of pain and edema is more in the steroid antibiotic group hence the total number of packing is significantly less in steroidantibiotic group, so it could be recommended to use steroidantibiotic pack for effective treatment of acute otitis externa.

Before 2004 there was a paper based voting system called the Ballot Paper System. With the growth of technology, we have moved in to the electronic voting machine system, called the EVM. But now a days EVM are not safe, because of the hardware malpractice which includes virus, hacking as well as physical tampering. To overcome such situations we are proposing a new system called the Advanced Voting Machine (AVM). Initially the voters are enrolled using the biometric fingerprint. After the verification of fingerprint the voters can cast their vote. There by we can avoid the fake votes. The candidate details are already stored so the voters can easily choose the candidate. At the time of voting, camera will be activated and it will capture the image of the corresponding voter symbol and it will be stored in the database. These images will be processed to identify the symbols using the image comparison techniques, and based on that counting take place. After casting the vote a token will be generated to the voters in the encrypted form to their mobile phones. After voting token generated in mobile phones to the voters, through this token voters get the details of the voting like candidate name, party name and symbol of the party etc in which we can assure that vote will be given for the right person. Otherwise we can claim on it.

Construction industry is one of the most important sectors in the development of the country and its GDP. Bricks are widely used in the construction industry. Porotherm bricks are mainly made off clay mixed with coal ash, rice husk ash, saw dust and fly ash. In this experimental study bricks are made off natural waste material like rice husk ash and granite powder. The main objective of the study is to reduce the quantity of clay with natural waste material. On the other hand proper and efficient management of natural solid waste disposal can be done. Here we are replacing granite powder and rice husk ash in appropriate proportions to make light weight brick with same compressive strength. This study helps to identify the average water absorption ratio and compressive strength.
