Plants are estimated that about 80% of the population in the world depends on traditional medicines. Various countries including India, China, Thailand, and Shri Lanka use many plants as traditional medicine use to treat various diseases. Plants are the fundamental source of knowledge in current medical research. There are various medicinal plants all over the world. A practically whole part of the plant specifically leaves, flowers, fruits, roots, stem, and seeds are studied to have several medicinal properties. The current trend of using natural products has increased and active plant extracts are commonly screened for the determination of new drugs.[1] The medicinal plants mostly find the approach applied in the pharmaceutical cosmetics industry, agricultural, and food industries. Herbal drugs are advised generally because of their effectiveness, fewer side effects, and relatively low cost. Ayurveda nowadays utilizes as many as 1000 single drugs and over 8000 compound formulations recognized merit[.2]

: Smart home is an advanced technology that makes the lives of people smart. The devices present in the home are made smart using the technologies like Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Big data, cloud computing and others. There is a necessity to control the home and the appliances present in the home remotely when people are not present. This can be achieved using the applications. The detection of hazards in the kitchen like fire can be detected using the sensors and people can be alerted. The water level in the tank can be monitored and the supply can be cut down upon water exceeding the certain level in the tank. Similarly, switching off the unnecessary lights and other tasks that require the humans to be involved can be automated using the technology. As people cannot always be involved in conserving energy, technology can be used at its best to conserve energy.

Morus alba, a well-known medicinal plant in the Moraceae family, has long been employed in Ayurvedic and other traditional medical systems.The review demonstrates a wide range of essential Pharmacological actions, including antidiabetic, antibacterial, antioxidant, antistress properties.The plant contains carotene, vitamin B1, folic acid, folinic acid, isoquercetin, quercetin, tannins, flavonoids, and saponins, as well as ascorbic acid, of which over 90% is present in a reduced form. Power quality disturbances lead to severe problems in industries and electrical grids. To mitigate PQ problems, the accurate detection and classification of the possible disturbances are essential. A large number of studies exist in this field. The first research step in these studies is to obtain several distorted signals to test the classification systems. In this regard, the most common trend is the generation of signals from mathematical models. In the literature, several models with significant differences are available. However, there is no integral model that considers all types of distortions. In this dissertation work, an integral mathematical model of power quality disturbances will be developed based on the models available in the literature. The model will include new types of combined disturbances. Almost all types of power quality disturbances will be considered under study. Further, this integral mathematical model of various power quality disturbances will be implemented for the generation of power quality disturbances using MATLAB environment. By using this model various power quality disturbances will be generated in a fast and automatic way. This model aims to facilitate future studies, supporting researchers in the modelling stage.

Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) is a safety tool used in most jewel manufacturing industries to identify the hazards and assess the risks in the plant. The primary purpose of the HIRA tool is to assess the risks and prioritize the risks to eliminate the hazards in the prioritized order. The assessment of the hazards in the workplace is an important task to evaluate and find out the causes of the accidents. The risk level has been calculated for all hazards in various departments on jewel manufacturing industries by multiplying the values of severity and probability. The identified hazards majorly categorized under physical, chemical, ergonomic hazard, manual handling, health, heat, and electrical hazards. The risk ratings were assigned depending upon the severity of risk occurrence low, medium, and high. This will also lead to finding out the solution for the hazards and to create a safe working place for the employees. This project work overviews the hazards in the workplace, their assessment, and recommendations to reduce the hazards in the workplace.

Fire sprinkler frameworks are broadly utilized around the world, with more than 40 million sprinkler heads fitted every year. Sprinklers might be required to be introduced by construction standards, or might be prescribed by insurance agencies to decrease potential property losses or business intrusion. Construction standards in the United States for spots of gathering, by and large more than 100 people, and places with overnight dozing convenience, for example, hotels, nursing homes, residences, and hospitals ordinarily require sprinklers under nearby building regulations, as a state of accepting State and Federal financing. In this Project, the aim is to develop a simple Fire Sprinkler, where the sprinkler can betested. The test of the sprinkler is to be by connecting the pipes and the reservoir that contains the water and how the breaking of the chemical tube is happening as if there is a real fire occurring in a building. Further studies will include the calculations of the radius and the area that one sprinkler can handle during a fire case and how many one we have to install in a building to cover the fire as a given flow rate and pressure.
