 Abstract

Currently, nearly all educational institutions rely on e-learning systems to support their learning processes. Performance is a critical factor in ensuring a smooth and comfortable user experience. While single-server architecture is commonly used to build these systems, it often proves inefficient due to its limited focus on availability. This study proposes a server architecture utilizing multiple virtual servers with Proxmox virtualization, employing reverse proxy techniques and storage clustering to enhance system availability for an e-learning Moodle platform. The design of the multiple virtual server architecture follows a methodology that includes preparation, planning, design, implementation, testing, and optimization. Research conducted on a testbed reveals that the multiple virtual server architecture offers superior availability compared to the single server setup. According to User Behavior Modeling Performance (UBMP) test results, the multiple virtual server architecture can handle up to 100 concurrent users with an availability level of 80.25%, whereas the single server architecture supports only 80 users with a lower availability level of 78.4%.

 Abstract

In cloud computing, resources are centralized and provided to customers via the internet using virtualization technology. This allows for dynamic, scalable, and virtualized resources. Cloud computing offers supercomputing and massive storage, but security remains a key concern, particularly in managing trust between data owners and storage providers. Cloud security focuses on ensuring trust between data owners and storage providers. It's important because data owners worry about how their data will be used or shared without their permission. Choosing data storage services in the cloud becomes a social challenge reflecting human interactions online. To manage trust between data owners and storage providers, we propose using a technique called cloud watermarking with the color drop method. This technique aims to identify and ensure ownership of data stored in the cloud.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT:A misconception exist between groundnut oil and other vegetable oil used in Nigeria because of the inefficient processes of producing groundnut oil in commercial quantity. This work, design and fabrication of an automated groundnut oil extractor was aimed to produce pure groundnut oil which would be better than the common vegetable oil (refined,blenched and deodorized palm oil)due to its natural process of extraction this machine this machine designed to the power a by 075kw electric motor with 1400 rpm and 50Hz single phase.The desired crushing effect at low power input would be achieved by the incorporation of a gear reduction system of 1:10. The procedures employed include the design stage, construction and testing. The machine components are: the electric motor, expellant unit, drains collector, belt, driving and driven pulleys, and the hopper. The expelling unit consists of a screw expellant shaft with expellant barrel. The maximum crushing stress of the groundnut was determined experimentally as 23.1KNm2.A heater of 1500W was used to preheat the groundnut before crushing. The groundnut was heated for 15mins which resulted to the production of 0.23kg quantity of oilwith improved quality. When heated for 10mins the quantity produced was 0.019kg which contained some impurities. The result showed that at 15mins preheating of the groundnut the quantity and quality of oil produced were better than the one produced when heated for 10mins. Therefore, the rate of oil extraction was effective and efficient at 15mins heating time. At a regulated heater temperature of 100oC the quality of the oil and groundnut cake was pleasant and edible. Based on the efficiency and the quality of the oil produced, this machine was recommended suitable for the production of groundnut oil for commercial use.

 Abstract

This research investigates intermediate students' perspectives on reading strategies aimed at improving comprehension. Through the utilization of qualitative methods, such as in-depth interviews for data collection, the study uncovers a positive reception among students in the Mahuadanr and Garu blocks towards reading strategies, affirming their role in enhancing comprehension skills. While both high and low achievers demonstrate similar strategy utilization, discrepancies in reading scores emphasize the critical importance of effective implementation. Furthermore, the identification of variations in text characteristics across elementary school levels in these blocks suggests potential gaps in adequately preparing students for advanced reading skills. By shedding light on the challenges faced by intermediate students in attaining proficient reading abilities in the Mahuadanr and Garu blocks of the Palamu region. This paper examines the reading materials provided to intermediate students in the Mahuadanr and Garu blocks in the Palamu region, emphasizing the importance of fostering reading habits to support learning and knowledge acquisition. This is an effort to enhance subject-specific understanding and elevate educational quality at the grassroots level. The findings of this study provide valuable insights that can inform educators or teachers to enhance reading outcomes and support the educational advancement of intermediate students in the Palamu region.

 Abstract

This study was performed to evaluate fish diversity, community structure, spatial distribution and conservation status in 5 kilometer stretch of Sone River Flood plains in Bhojpur area from Bahiara to Sahar with three selected reservoirs during 2022, showing different major, minor and other fishes including some ornamental ones. The existed fishes showed variable fish abundance at different sites in different months during the period of investigation of one year duration (April 2022 - March 2023).

 Abstract

In the growth and development of the Indo-Anglian novel, the feminine sensibility has achieved an imaginative self-sufficiency which merits recognition in spite of its relatively later manifestation. Anita Desai presents "the welcome creative release of the feminine sensibility" (Rao, 1972 : 50), which emerged thoroughly in the post-Independence era. Desai is a novelist of considerable merits and has enriched the Indian novel in English in various ways. It is her thematic concerns and technical innovations that have been chiefly responsible for making her "a disturbing and demanding presence in Indo-Anglian fiction". (Maini, 1977 : 216). Desai's interests are far more psychological than social, political or sociological. Exploration of the deeper and inner-most core of the consciousness of her characters, particularly, her female protagonists, constitutes, by and large, the singular forte of Anita Desai as a novelist and also as a woman-writer.However, before detailing the feminist dimension as portrayed by Anita Desai in her novels, it is highly pertinent here to have an overview of the critical theory and praxis of feminism, in general, the world over, and in India, in particular. Feminist critical theory is considered to be a political discourse, a literary and theoretical commitment to the struggle against patriarchy and sexism and not merely a gender study in literature. In fact, feminist critical perspective and theory become pertinent to the study and analysis of the social, institutional and personal power relations between the sexes.

 Abstract

The present paper intends to highlight the issues and trends, challenges, and their impact on current teacher education programme throughout our country when we coming with a powerful document NEP-2020. At the same time, the study also focuses on the need and significance of the newly designed programme with the name of 4-year integrated B.A and B.Sc. or ITEP by NEP-2020. Along with the above the author also tried to make valuable suggestions for improvement in the present status of teacher education in different sectors. To explore all these above facts five objectives are framed along with the same number of research questions. After a critical analysis, we find that the present issues are very serious and need to be addressed positively, also govt. of India-made documents like NEP-2020, NCFTE, etc., and policies made by the government are praiseworthy but the implementation level is not at all fruitful at the grassroots level it is mainly because of the mushrooming number of private institutions and their irresponsible implementation strategies. For that we have made some suggestions for up-gradation and change of the present implementation situation for teacher education situation like: strict implementation of curriculum and practical based internship component in teacher education, formulation of proper welfare schemes for the prosperity of teachers working rigorously as a social engineer, in the private sector also these should be monitoring time to time digitally.

A curriculum map is a tool used to ensure consistency in teaching and assessment of learning outcomes. It can be used as a planning tool for curriculum design or developed into existing ones. Curriculum mapping involves aligning resources, activities, instruction, assessments, and educational reforms with a program, correcting redundancies and gaps. It also indicates the alignment of learning and teaching standards, indicating the success of a HEI or faculty in meeting academic expectations and established standards. In the present article a brief introduction about Curriculum mapping, its types and a methodology designed have been described.

 Abstract

For Indians expanding urban middle class, perhaps no issue is more important than addressing corruption in public life that most perceive to be pervasive and debilitating. It could ever be said that for this post liberalization generation, corruption and the fight against corruption has become the predominant theme of the second decade of the 21 Century. The spread of this Concept What Philip Abrams(1988 56-69) Termed the "State idea" has resulted from a decline in the importance and prestige for the middle class of a public sector that often requires bribes to attain employment and key postings and from which corruption is a major source of income. In constant people with private sector jobs receive much less personal benefit from corrupt practices, and unlike landed elites, no longer need influence over local state institutions in order to protect their interests. There was a lot less noise about Corruption where majority of the politicians and bureaucrats who benefited where from upper caste, urban middle class This is perhaps why politicians are after seen as the source of Corruption to the middle class popular imagination
