The study you mentioned goes beyond measuring the workability, cubic compressive strength, and splitting-tensile strength of the modified concrete. It also focuses on the durability parameters of the concrete, specifically water absorption, permeability, sulphate attack, and chloride attack. The goal is to evaluate how the addition of silica fume impacts these important aspects of concrete performance. The paper provides a comprehensive review of the use of silica fume (also known as micro-silica or nano-silica) as a mineral admixture in concrete.

Shankha is one of the Calcium-enriched animal origin marine materials used in Ayurvedic practice in form of Shankha bhasma, known by the Indians since vedic period, but its internal application as a medicine has been recognised from Charak Samhita period. Rasa Tarangini (a classical 20th century book on Ayurvedic pharmaceutical medicine) has detailed elaborative description of the pharmaceutical processing of Shankha to derive its Bhasma. It is used since ancient Indians to treat various ailments like Ajirna (indigestion), Agnimandhya (decresed enzymatic secretion), Amlapitta (acidity), Grahani (irritable bowel syndrome) etc. The present study is designed to compile and accesses all the relevant and standard work done related to Shankha bhasma preparation in addition to standardization in terms of its pharmaceutical and analytical parameters. Relevant literatures of ancient India related to ayurvedic pharmaceutics for preparation of SB along with contemporary research databases and various other appropriate contents on the internet were thoroughly searched. This work may provide an insight into its potential effect in characterization and therapeutics, eventually leading to betterment of human life.

To maintain a discipline and let students grasp utmost knowledge in schools, colleges and universities the attendance system was introduced. There are two conventional techniques to mark attendance of students in a particular class. One of them is by calling the roll number and the second is to take students sign on a piece of paper against their roll number. Hence there was a need to evolve this system in such a way that it could become user friendly, less time consuming and efficient. This is an automated system to assist the faculty in taking attendance of the whole class without any disturbance or time waste. The idea can encompass a large number application one of which include face identification, it will help save time and efficiently identifies and eliminates the chances of proxy attendance

During the 20th century, literature had resurgence in the world of fiction in America where many writers from the diversity of ethnic minorities shared their ideas, backgrounds and culture with the public through their novels. Chinese-American writer Lisa See is known for implied details about her culture in her novels. See's novels The Girl of Humming Bird Lane and Dreams of Joy pay particular attention to the special bond between mothers and daughters. While the mothers have different individual histories, they seem interchangeable as they all have similar personalities that are strong, determined, and have the arcane power to show similar concerns for their daughters' well-being. As a result, the mothers are possessively trying to hold on to their daughters, and the daughters are battling to get away from their mothers.

Plants still make an important contribution to health care. Large number of medicinal plants has been investigated for their antioxidant properties in the form of raw extracts or from their chemical constituents as they have medicinal importance and also very effective in preventing the destructive processes caused by oxidative stress and also reduces both psychological and physiological stress. Since, plants possess enormous benefits, it was decided to study Ricinus communis, Muntingia calabura, Pongamia pinnata, Wrightia tinctoria, Ficus religiosa, Thespesia populnea, Polyalthia longifolia,Saraca asoca, Senna siamea, Phyllanthus reticulates, Tecoma stans, Syzygium cumini, Artocarpus heterophyllus, Ficus carcia, Psidium guajava, Avocado, Pisum sativam, Phyllanthus emblica, Mangifera indica plants from places around salem. Phenolic content was high in most of the plants studied fom the study area when compared to flavonoid content. The nitric oxide scavenging activity, hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity, iron chelating activity, reducing power activity was found to be moderate with all the plants studied from the study area. The reducing power activity was high with plants studied from Balaji rubber industry,Rasipuram,Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India. The carotenoid content was high in most of the plants studied from the study area. Similarly, the protein content was high in most of the plants studied from Asian rubber industries, Kandhampatti, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. While, carbohydrate and amino acid content was found to be moderate in most of the studied plants except very few plants.

The present research paper deals with in vitro screening of antifungal activity in leaf and stem of Eleagnus latifolia L. in methanol extract .The extract was prepared in methanol solvent using Soxhlet's apparatus .The activity measured by well diffusion method , using test fungi such an Aspergillus niger, Colletotrichum sp., Dreschler avenaceum, Fusarium oxysporium and Trichoderma viride. These test fungi were found to be sensitive to crude extract of leaf and stem of Elaeagnus latifolia L. as compared to control methanol solvent. A maximum zone of inhibition was recorded against Fusarium oxysporium and Colletotrichum sp., in methanol leaf extract, where as Fusarium oxysporium and Dreschler avenaceum recorded maximum zone of inhibition in methanol stem extract. This indicates methanol extract of leaf and stem possess a good amount of antifungal properties.

Every day, women, young girls, mothers and women from all walks of life are struggling to be safe and protect themselves from the roving gaze of horribly insensitive men who molest, assault and violate the dignity of women on a daily basis. The streets, public transport, public places in particular have become the domain of the hunters. Due to these atrocities that women are subjected to in the present scenario. A smart security device for women based on the internet of things is proposed. In this project, an Embedded Real time video monitoring system is designed, in which the embedded chip and the programming techniques are used. The central monitor which adopts Raspberry pi is the core of the whole system. Real time video transmission is widely used in surveillance, conferencing, media broadcasting and applications that include remote assistance. First, USB camera video data are collected by the embedded Linux system. All data are processed, compressed and transferred by the processing chip. Then, video data is uploaded to the cloud by wireless network. The live video streaming is performed using the web camera and live location is achieved by GPS module. This embedded monitoring system overcomes the weak points of the traditional video surveillance systems, such as complex structure, poor stability, and expensive cost. It can be widely used in many fields, and also used for long distance transmission. The next generation of surveillance will be able to annotate video and coordinate the tracking of objects with multiplexing hundreds of video streams. Video surveillance has evolved over the years and is a vital tool for safety. It was initially dominated by the camera with coaxial cable and they connected using coax cables. There is a digital type of switching and IP based data delivery. They can capture a wide area so, the camera here we are using an Omni directional camera or mobile camera can also be used. Raspberry Pi used for core control, camera for capturing the video, GPS to track the live location and user phone or laptop connected to Wi-Fi to receive the live streaming videos.
