The rice leaf suffers from several bacterial, viral, or fungal diseases and these diseases reduce rice production significantly. Hence early detection of the rice leaf diseases is very important. To sustain rice demand for a vast population globally, the recognition of rice leaf diseases is crucially needed. However, recognition of rice leaf disease is limited to the image backgrounds and image capture conditions. This project proposes a solution for the automated classification of rice leaf diseases using the ResNet-50 architecture. Rice is a vital crop, but it is susceptible to various diseases that can cause significant yield losses. The traditional method of manually identifying and classifying rice leaf diseases is time-consuming and often requires experienced professionals. Therefore, there is a need for an automated solution to classify rice leaf diseases accurately and efficiently. In this paper, we collect a dataset of rice leaf images, preprocess it, train the ResNet-50 model, and evaluate its performance.

Baras (Vitiligo) is an acquired pigmentary, multifactorial, Polygenic disorder, with a complex pathogenesis. It is a common depigmenting disorder has an estimated prevelance of 0.5-2% of the population worldwide. The disease is characterized by the selective loss of melanocytes which results in typical non scaly, chalky white macules. The main effect of Baras (Vitiligo) is in the form of psychological impact of the disease. In unani system of medicine (USM) Bars is caused due to weakness of Quwat -e-Mughaiyirah wa Mushabbiha (transformative faculty) of the skin and the liver. Besides these Fasad-ud -Dam (impairment of blood) and Burudat -ud-Dam (coldness of blood) also play an important role in aggreviating Bars. The role of diet (restrictions and recommendations) are well documented in the classic unani literature in the management of Baras (Vitiligo). The Management of Baras (Vitiligo) involves Tanqiya -e-Badan. It is performed in three steps: administering Munzij -e- Balgham drugs till Nuzj appears followed by three mushily (Purges) and Tabreed (Cooling agents) after every Ishal.

The gradual decrease of renal function that results in chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a degenerative disorder that can cause a number of issues. Anaemia is one of these issues that affects CKD patients often and significantly. This presentation seeks to present a thorough discussion of the impact of anaemia on CKD patients, including its pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, and implications for patient outcomes. Beyond symptomatology, anaemia has an impact on CKD patients. It has been linked to a higher risk of cardiovascular events, more hospital stays, worse cognitive function, lower quality of life, and higher death rates. Erythropoiesis-stimulating medications and iron supplements are often used to treat anaemia in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), although the best strategy is still under investigation. This study also emphasises the difficulties in detecting and treating anaemia in CKD patients. A thorough review that includes test results for erythropoietin, iron studies, and haemoglobin levels is necessary for an accurate diagnosis. Considerations for treatment include controlling iron storage, tailoring therapy depending on patient characteristics, and keeping an eye out for any potential side effects. In conclusion, anaemia is a frequent and serious consequence in CKD patients that significantly affects their health and quality of life. To improve patient outcomes and quality of life, anaemia in CKD must be identified early and managed appropriately. To lessen the burden of anaemia in this susceptible patient group, further research is required to improve diagnostic standards, optimise therapeutic treatments, and investigate innovative treatment methods.

Because of the related morbidity, death, and societal economic costs, hypertension continues to be a major public health problem. It poses a considerable risk for renal, cardiovascular, and cerebrovascular issues. 1.56 billion people will develop hypertension by the year 2025, according to predictions. The prevalence of hypertension is rising, and the cost of treating it is also rising, which has an impact on how often doctors prescribe certain medications and how well their patients adhere to their treatment plans. The management of hypertension is covered in a variety of published national and international recommendations. Since many years ago, diuretics have been recommended as first-line medications for the treatment of hypertension. However, the Joint National Commission's most recent guidelines (the JNC8 guidelines) also recommend calcium channel blockers and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors as first-line medications, in addition to diuretics. For long-term management and the treatment of comorbid disorders, antihypertensive medication combinations are often employed. This study focuses on how antihypertensive drugs are used, how much they cost, how well patients follow their treatment plans, and how closely doctors follow prescription drug standards in various contexts, including the Indian context.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a devastating neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive decline, memory loss, and behavioral changes. With over 50 million people worldwide affected by AD, early diagnosis and effective treatment strategies are essential for improving patient outcomes and reducing the burden on individuals, caregivers, and healthcare systems. Advancements in diagnostic techniques have significantly contributed to AD diagnosis. Neuroimaging techniques such as PET, MRI, fMRI, and amyloid imaging have emerged as valuable tools for detecting pathological changes associated with AD in the brain. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers, including beta-amyloid peptides and tau proteins, have shown promise in early detection and differential diagnosis. Blood-based biomarkers such as plasma A? and tau levels, neurofilament light chain, and inflammatory markers are also being investigated for their diagnostic utility. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms have demonstrated potential in enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of AD diagnosis by analyzing complex datasets. In terms of therapeutic advancements, significant progress has been made in developing disease-modifying therapies for AD. Approaches targeting beta-amyloid, tau protein, inflammation, and neuroprotection are being explored. Non-pharmacological interventions, including cognitive training, physical exercise, lifestyle modifications, and nutritional interventions, have shown promise in managing symptoms and improving quality of life for AD patients. Emerging therapeutic approaches, such as immunotherapy, gene therapy, stem cell therapy, and epigenetic modifications, are being investigated for their ability to target AD pathology and provide novel treatment options. Despite these advancements, challenges remain in AD diagnosis and treatment. Ethical considerations in early detection and predictive testing, ensuring access to innovative diagnostics and treatments, promoting precision medicine and personalized approaches, and fostering collaborative research efforts and clinical trials are crucial for further advancements in the field.
