With the ever-increasing complexity of software systems and the need for higher quality and reliability, the application of machine learning techniques has emerged as a promising approach in improving software quality. This research paper presents a comprehensive review of the utilization of machine learning in the context of software quality, highlighting its potential benefits, challenges, and future directions. The paper begins by providing an overview of machine learning and its fundamental concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, feature extraction, and model evaluation techniques. It then explores various aspects of software quality, such as defect prediction, fault localization, test case prioritization, and software maintenance, where machine learning techniques have been successfully applied. Furthermore, the paper discusses the specific machine learning algorithms commonly employed in software quality applications, including decision trees, support vector machines, random forests, and neural networks. It examines how these algorithms are utilized for tasks such as feature selection, classification, clustering, and anomaly detection. In addition to discussing the advantages of machine learning in software quality, this research highlights the challenges and limitations that researchers and practitioner's encounter. These challenges include the scarcity of labeled data, the interpretability of models, and the potential bias in training data. Finally, the research presents future directions and emerging trends in the application of machine learning in software quality. It explores the integration of deep learning techniques, the utilization of transfer learning for better generalization, and the incorporation of natural language processing for analyzing software artifacts such as documentation and bug reports.

Abstract Witness protection is a critical aspect of ensuring the effective functioning of the criminal justice system. In India, the need for protection of witnesses has been addresses by courts in various judgments however, finally in the landmark case of Mahendra Chawla vs. Union of India, the Supreme Court of India made the first attempt to protect witnesses under the ambit of law by introducing the Witness Protection Scheme,2018 to address the vulnerabilities faced by witnesses and encourage their participation in trials. However, the implementation of the scheme has encountered several issues and challenges that hinder its effectiveness. This research paper aims to analyze the witness protection scheme in India, identify the key issues and challenges associated with its implementation, and provide recommendations for improving the existing framework.

The widespread development of technology has brought laurels to various fields which includes the medical field. The present world keeps changing and the innovations brought about in the medical field have also an equal and upcoming competition in the black markets where ethics are put to question. The demand has made human beings put oneself first in most of the cases. Transhumanism dedicates its knowledge to the improvement of humans on three basic pillars with the notion of improving the intelligence, longevity and wellbeing. The Ghost is a short story written by Alicia Pollard which has the protagonist Eve living in a mining ship with multiple cabins designed just as if living on land. Her foster brother Simon has been with them for only three months. Just as it can be easy to put someone away from a crime, Eve takes a decision that alters a consistent network. This short story has various layers with stern determination that humans have indeed progressed. The interventions in the natural human body of Simon, has him in a state that is between a mechanical robot and a human. Using Latour's Actor Network Theory, this paper will unfold the actants' choices and also the indispensable actor that influences the choice. The equally important functioning actors are the crux of a system in the Actor Network Theory (ANT). The ethical state of the choices is debated with only a few moments to spare the transhuman. The paper also tests the human action based on the existing hybridity in reality and fiction.

This paper is aimed at the investigation and review of the social crowdfunding platforms. We study the prevalent high cases of corruption and fraud in the delivery of financial benefits to the intended recipients on the social crowdfunding platforms. We also study the current model of public and private tender funding structure and the causes of cost-overruns and contract-failure in these projects. We discuss a novel theoretical and practical model of giving the control of money to the original funders based on a conditional contract. We review and postulate a new blockchain based funding model to fund the causes on social crowd-funding platforms and also the Public/Private/PPP (Public Private Partnership) projects. We also discuss how adoption of a transparent mechanism of funding will make it easier to attract funding for genuine projects and inspire confidence of the general community.

This study aims to investigate the sound characteristics exhibited during the no load mechanical run test of a gearbox and develop an effective acoustic hood to mitigate the resulting noise. The experimental setup involves subjecting the gearbox to a no load mechanical run test, which simulates its normal operating conditions without any external load. During the test, sound pressure levels are recorded using Bruel and Kjaer meter at three different locations surrounding the gear. The recorded data is then analyzed by dividing it into octave bands to determine the distribution of sound energy across different frequency ranges. The analysis indicates peak sound energy levels at specific frequencies and provides valuable information of designing an effective noise reduction solution Based on the findings, an acoustic hood is developed to attenuate the sound produced by the device and effect of the acoustic hood will be evaluated. The developed acoustic hood successfully reduces the sound pressure levels in the identified frequency ranges. The results demonstrate the importance of frequency-specific noise reduction measures in improving the acoustic performance of the device.

Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication is a technology that enables vehicles to communicate with each other, exchanging information about their location, speed, and direction of travel. This communication has the potential to greatly improve road safety, reduce traffic congestion, and increase fuel efficiency. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive review of the current state of research in V2V communication, including its underlying technologies, standards, and applications. We also discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for V2V communication, and propose several directions for future research. V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) communication is an important aspect of the intelligent transportation system (ITS) that enables vehicles to communicate with each other in real-time. The use of LoRa (Long Range) communication technology is becoming increasingly popular due to its low power consumption, long-range communication capability, and low cost. This paper presents an abstract of V2V communication using LoRa technology, which can enable vehicles to exchange information such as location, speed, and direction with neighboring vehicles in a secure and reliable manner. The proposed system utilizes a LoRa-based transceiver module and employs a packetization technique for transmitting and receiving data between vehicles. The system's effectiveness was evaluated through simulation and experimental results, which demonstrate that the proposed system can achieve reliable communication over long distances while consuming low power. This abstract highlights the potential of V2V communication using LoRa technology to improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of vehicular communication systems.

The main objective of object detection is to detect various objects in a video stream with more accuracy and with less computation time. Image classification involves assigning a class label to an image, whereas object localization involves drawing a bounding box around one or more objects in an image. The object detection algorithm YOLO to examine the entire image in a single instance and predicts the bounding box coordinates and class probabilities for these boxes. This project uses Yolo algorithm with Sort tracker to detect and track various objects in a video stream derived from a Webcam and through the pre-recorded video. From the experimental study, the accuracy of object detection varies from 72% to 97%. The existing algorithms take more time to process each frame and accuracy is also less. The Intersection over Union will decide prediction of each object as Good one. The Nonmax suppression technique will get a single prediction per object. The biggest advantage of using YOLOv7 can process 155 FPS. The experiment was conducted in VScode . The video taken from various places were used to examine the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The experimental results show that our proposed approach can effectively improve the accuracy rate in detection of various objects in an image and also track it. with many applications including surveillance, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and augmented reality.
