The history, culture, current and future socioeconomic standing and environmental property of our country and its people unit intricately joined to the water resources that unit offered from dams. These water sources offered through dams unit one in each of the very important sources offered for the usage to industries, livestock, irrigation etc. and there is a vital ought to confirm the security of the water level at these dams against associate environmental or biological process threats and to develop an economical dam Level Management system practice IoT. This paper provides an outline for the event of associate system supported the prevailing systems with the used of some sensors and IoT. This paper together proposes a totally distinctive set up of assortment and sharing amount of your time information concerning water levels to a licensed central command main through huge field communication. The approved central command centre then takes a choice whether or not or to not unleash the water by gap dam gates or keep them closed. By doing so, the operation of dams all the country is centralized and automatic.

The fundamental idea is to increase the yield of vegetable, fruits and crops through use of modern technologies. The proposed IOT based smart greenhouse farming system monitors factors like temperature, humidity, soil moisture, light with the help of sensors elements and alerts the users through mobile application. Sensors values demonstrated on GSM module can be used to analyze agricultural data. The authenticated mobile application development can be used to monitor the parameter from anywhere.

Aim of the present work is to prepare a data on the weed plants of Ahmednagar and to highlight their utility aspect. Such a studies may give the correct idea about the usefulness of plants which grow in the vicinity. Altogether 39 weed plants have been enumerated and it includes botanical name, synonyms, family, local name, phonological data and locality. As far as weed flora is concerned the families like, Asteraceae with 9 species is on top, Fabaceae represents 8 weed species holds second position,Acanthaceae is on third position with 7 species while the families Convolulaceae and Euphorbiaceae are having 5 species each. Several families are representing single species. Total 39 species of the weeds collected are being used in the different systems of medicines for treating different ailments. The aim behind these studies is to prepare a detailed account of the weed flora of Ahmednagar with emphasis on the aspect of the weed plants.

The prevalence of hepatitis B virus in Africa is high due to the increase in risky activities such as needle stick injury, unprotected sex, transfusion of unscreened blood in some hospitals and injected drug users. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at Kampala International University Teaching Hospital (KIU-TH) in Ishaka sub-county, Bushenyi district in western Uganda between December, 2014 and January, 2015. The purpose of the study was to determine the sero-prevalence of Hepatitis B virus infection among preclinical students of Kampala International University western campus (KIU-WC) and also, to know medical students who were infected before enroll in medical school and those who will be found negative; they will be vaccinated before going into the clinical areas. A total of one hundred and fifty (150) research participants were recruited for the study using a standard and systematic sampling technique. Samples were collected from preclinical students of Medicine and surgery, Medical laboratory sciences, Nursing and Pharmacy department. All samples collected into a plain tube were allowed to clot and centrifuged to obtain serum; this is because, serum is the most preferred sample in serological testing for antigen and antibody dependent. Samples were tested for HBsAg with SD BIOLINE USA immune chromatographic rapid test strips with high sensitivity of 99.8% and specificity of 100%. Data on risk factors were collected using a structured closed ended questionnaire. The prevalence of HBV infection in this study was 4% which is lower among the preclinical students of KIU. The significance risk factors in this study were needle stick injury with p-value of 0.04 which is less than the alpha of (0.05) contact with blood is significance at p-value 0.01 and transfusion of blood at significance level of 0.01. There is need for preclinical student to know their HBV status and those tested negative be vaccinated and this will give a clear source of HBV infection among medical students.

IoT has been proven as a big achievable for qualifying and enhancing healthcare services; such as monitoring at every time and anyplace. These services gather more than a few bio- indicators the usage of one of a kind sensors, together with electroencephalogram (EEG), electrocardiogram (ECG), electrical signal of the heart, electromyogram (EMG), electrical sign of muscles, Respiratory Rate (RR), and body motion. The accumulated statistics from these sensors can be processed, stored, or broadcast to a remote gadget (e.g. Cloud server). This paper gives an overview of the important medical sensors in IoT and a review of the modern state-of- the-art of IoT projects, and applied sciences required for healthcare services. The paper specifically, focuses on the using of IoT technologies in the healthcare region nowadays. A conclusion regarding the modern stage of improvement and open problems are obtained.

Abstract: In daily life, for the people who are deaf, dumb and blind, the communication for them is difficult. They can only communicate in sign language which is very difficult to communicate among them and also with normal individuals. To avoid the obstruction, a glove is taken along with a MEMS Sensor attached to it. The Deaf, Dumb and Blind People only communicate in sign language accordingly. This becomes difficult when comes to communication with normal individuals. So, to prevent this, an electronic framework is developed with two switches and a glove with MEMS Sensor. When the glove is tilted or moved, the sensor detects and is fed into Arduino Uno and the pre-loaded command is played on the speaker through the voice IC and is displayed on the LCD. The Switch consists of four commands each. When the switch is swapped the respective commands will work.
