Recent advancements in biomimetic materials have significantly impacted the field of ophthalmology, particularly in the development of next-generation vision correction devices. This study focuses on the creation of an innovative contact lens composed of corneal tissue-derived biomaterials, aiming to enhance both functionality and compatibility with the ocular environment. Conventional contact lenses, typically fabricated from hydrogel or silicone hydrogel, are often associated with drawbacks such as limited oxygen transmission, discomfort, and potential long-term corneal damage. To overcome these issues, this research utilizes decellularized corneal tissue combined with engineered extracellular matrix (ECM) elements to construct a contact lens that closely replicates the natural structure and function of the human cornea. The manufacturing process involves several stages, including decellularization of corneal tissue, ECM hydrogel development, and polymeric support for enhanced mechanical strength. Biocompatibility was assessed in vitro using human corneal epithelial cells, showing improved cell adherence and growth when compared to standard lens substrates. Optical transparency and oxygen permeability evaluations revealed that the tissue-based lens meets, and in some aspects surpasses, the performance benchmarks required for clinical use. Additionally, the lens exhibited excellent moisture retention and durability during simulated extended wear tests. This approach offers a promising alternative for individuals with ocular sensitivities or corneal pathologies, as well as those interested in regenerative solutions for vision correction. Future work will focus on in vivo validation and patient-specific customization. Overall, this development represents a significant step forward in the integration of tissue engineering with vision care technologies.

Ayurveda is the most ancient system of medicine. Pandu Roga is one of the diseases mentioned in Ayurveda characterised by changes in skin colour to white[Shweta],yellowish[Peeta],greenish[Harita].etc. Most of the Acharyas have described 5 types of Pandu Roga i .e Vatika, Paitika, Kaphaja, Tridoshaja, Mridbhakshanajanya Pandu. Acharya Charaka, A. Vagbhata & Madhava Nidana have mentioned about Mridbhakshanajanya (soil eating)Pandu. At least one of the Doshas of the individual who has a habit of eating soil gets aggravated, due to dry nature of the soil, it makes the tissues of the body dry. Pica is the eating of, or craving to eat things that are not food. Mridbhanakshanjanya Pandu is a condition that alters gut health, weakens digestion, and predisposes individuals to Krimi. In Krimi Chikitsa through Nidana Parivarjana[elimination of causative factors],Prakriti Vighata [modification of favorable conditions for Krimi] and Apakarshana[expulsion of parasites].Understanding this relationship can help formulate effective Ayurvedic interventions for better management.

Pulsed drug delivery systems (PDDS) are essentially time-controlled drug delivery devices in which the mechanism controls the lag time independently of external factors such as intestinal motility, pH, enzymes, etc. A pulsatile drug release, in which the drug is delivered rapidly after a predefined lag period, may be advantageous for a variety of drugs or therapies. Drugs are often released either immediately or gradually. Pulsatile drug release systems, however, have drawn more attention in recent years. Many medications or treatments may benefit from a pulsatile drug release, in which the drug is delivered quickly following a predetermined lag time. There are two types of pulse release systems: single-pulse and multiple-pulse. The family of single-pulse systems known as rupturable dose forms is widely used. One such method is pulsatile medication delivery, which promises to help patients with chronic conditions including arthritis, asthma, and hypertension by administering drugs at the appropriate times, locations, and dosages. Systems for pulsatile medication delivery may lead to major advancements in the treatment of several illnesses. Technologies including Pulsincap, Diffucaps, CODAS, OROS, and PULSY Saremarketed. The press coating process is a simple and unique technology that yields tablets with a programmable lag phase and a quick, or rate-controlled, drug release after ingestion, among its numerous advantages. These tablets may be made without the need of specialized coating equipment or solvent. When selecting the best chronopharmaceutical technology, consideration should be given to both production ease and cost-effectiveness.

The growing urbanization and city population expansion have resulted in an immense rise in vehicle congestion, necessitating the need for advanced and responsive traffic control systems. The current research offers an advanced, real-time traffic management system implemented using Raspberry Pi and the YOLOv5 object detection engine. The system takes a real-time video feed as input and detects and classifies various vehicle classes, dynamically adjusting traffic signal timings based on vehicle density in particular lanes. One notable feature of the system is the detection of emergency vehicles--ambulances and fire trucks--and overriding regular signal functioning to give them constant right-of-way. The implementation is highly accurate, with a mean Average Precision (mAP@0.5) of 0.865, detection accuracy of 97% for ambulances, and a detection accuracy of 94% for fire trucks. Additionally, an easy-to-use web interface implemented using Flask allows real-time monitoring and control. This smart system significantly improves urban traffic flow and allows earlier emergency response, and it is a promising scalable part of smart city infrastructure.

Indian democracy is facing the challenge of deepening its democratic form of governance at the local level but presently our civil society, intellectuals and political class do not realize it. The 73rd and 74th constitutional amendments which were initiated with the purpose of empowering the local governance but this democratic revolution has been hijacked by the ruling elites governing the different states with the help of district administrative setup. Panchayats and Municipal governments are not really empowered to legislate and administer upon the subjects devolved to them by the constitutional amendments because the state are not willing to part with their powers and vested interests.
