 Abstract

Skin conditions pose a substantial global health concern, especially in areas where there is a scarcity of dermatological professionals. This paper introduces Dermascan AI, a system that can diagnose skin conditions without an internet connection, using deep learning techniques based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Our efficientnetb0-based model achieves 87.2% validation accuracy across nine common skin diseases, enhanced by clinical decision rules (ABCDE criteria for melanoma) and personalized treatment recommendations based on Fitz Patrick skin types and geographic climate data. The system combines a user-friendly web interface with an AI assistant for providing explanations, resulting in a significant reduction of diagnostic waiting times by 60% during pilot testing. Comparative analysis reveals that the proposed model outperforms traditional DenseNet121 models by 6.2% in terms of accuracy, while still being computationally efficient for deployment on low-resource devices. The solution tackles significant shortcomings in dermatological care, such as bias reduction, real-time processing, and scalability, establishing a standard for ai-assisted dermatological triage.

 Abstract

Pregnancy is a critical phase in a woman's life, particularly for primigravida women who are experiencing it for the first time. Lack of awareness about warning signs during pregnancy can lead to delayed interventions and adverse maternal or fetal outcomes. This study aimed to assess the baseline knowledge level of primigravida women regarding the warning signs in pregnancy and to evaluate the effectiveness of an information booklet in improving their understanding. A pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design was adopted. A structured questionnaire was administered to 60 primigravida women attending antenatal clinics in a selected hospital. After the pre-test, participants were provided with an information booklet detailing common obstetric warning signs, followed by a post-test after one week. The findings revealed a significant increase in knowledge scores post-intervention, indicating the effectiveness of the information booklet. This study underscores the importance of educational tools in promoting maternal health awareness and early detection of complications among first-time pregnant women.

 Abstract

Empowering non-technical users and SMEs to create intelligent chatbots without writing code is becoming increasingly essential in today's AI-driven ecosystem. To address this need, we present a no-code platform that allows users to design, customize, and deploy conversational agents through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. The platform is built using modern frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex and integrates seamlessly with locally hosted LLMs via Ollama, including support for models like LLaMA 3.2. Users can visually construct workflows using components like Prompt Templates and LLM Chains, configure parameters such as temperature and model endpoints, and execute chains without dealing with backend complexities. A sample chatflow demonstrates the system's modularity and ease of use, validating the platform's capability for rapid prototyping and privacy-conscious deployment. Functional testing and interaction-based evaluation affirm the platform's goal of democratizing chatbot development, while also laying the foundation for future extensions such as multimodal support, analytics dashboards, and enhanced model integration

 Abstract

This research explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on architecture and the future employment of architects. AI is altering architectural design, enabling data-driven insights to enhance building efficiency. Beyond design, AI revolutionizes project management, construction, and facility management, streamlining workflows and promoting sustainability. However, its integration presents challenges, including ethical and creative concerns. Architects must adapt by embracing AI education and interdisciplinary collaboration. While AI augments architects' skills, it cannot replace human creativity, cultural sensitivity, and ethical judgment. The profession's future depends on architects leading this transformation, ensuring technology enhances rather than diminishes architectural integrity. To explore this transition, a survey via Google Forms will gather diverse perspectives on AI in architecture, focusing on public sentiment, AI education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The study aims to provide valuable insights into AI's evolving role in architecture, helping architects navigate this technological transition while preserving their unique vision and ethical responsibilities.

 Abstract

In today's fast-paced and competitive hospitality landscape, delivering exceptional guest experiences is paramount. One of the critical factors influencing guest satisfaction is the efficiency and responsiveness of hotel services. Traditional communication methods such as in-room telephones, intercom systems, or physical visits to the front desk are often time-consuming, prone to errors, and inconvenient for both guests and staff. EaseInn is a QR code-based digital solution designed to modernize and streamline guest service management in hotels. By simply scanning a QR code placed in hotel rooms or common areas, guests are directed to a mobile-responsive web interface. This interface enables them to place requests for room service, housekeeping, checkout support, or technical assistance without the need for app installations or direct staff interaction. The system automates the service request workflow by routing requests directly to the concerned department, minimizing delays and improving service quality. It not only enhances the guest experience through real-time updates but also optimizes staff productivity by digitizing request handling and tracking. This paper explores the system architecture, technical implementation, core functionalities, and the potential for scalability and integration with other smart hotel systems.
