Tourism has become a vital economic driver in rural regions like Pulga Village, Himachal Pradesh, offering both opportunities and challenges. As Pulga, located in the scenic Parvati Valley, grows in popularity among domestic and international tourists for its natural beauty and trekking routes. It faces an increase in carbon emissions, primarily from transportation, accommodation, and energy consumption. These emissions contribute to climate change, which manifests locally through unpredictable weather patterns, soil erosion, landslides, and the depletion of natural resources. The local community, which relies on both agriculture and tourism for their livelihoods, is increasingly vulnerable to these climate-related changes. Disruptions in agricultural cycles, declining crop yields, and reduced water availability are becoming pressing concerns, while tourism is becoming more seasonal and less predictable due to environmental degradation. The strain on local infrastructure and ecosystems from increased tourist activities further exacerbates the village's vulnerability to climate change. This research employs a mixed-method approach, utilizing field surveys, interviews with local stakeholders, and environmental data analysis to assess the carbon emissions linked to tourism and the impact on the local community. The findings highlight the urgent need for sustainable tourism practices and stronger policy frameworks to mitigate carbon emissions, protect Pulga's environment, and enhance the community's resilience to climate change. Recommendations focus on promoting eco-friendly tourism models and supporting local adaptation efforts to ensure long-term sustainability for both the environment and the community.

One of the common challenges faced by internet users is dealing with long and complex web page URLs. These URLs, while essential for locating websites and enabling search engines like Google to index content, often become excessively lengthy due to the inclusion of tracking codes, campaign parameters, and other query strings. Long URLs can appear cluttered, consume more characters in messages, and may seem untrustworthy or spammy to users. Additionally, they are often difficult to memorize, rewrite, or share without errors--causing frustration and inefficiency. To address these issues, we propose the design of a URL shortening service. This service takes a long URL and converts it into a concise, easy-to-share link that redirects users to the original address. Besides saving space, short URLs are more user-friendly and can be embedded on items such as business cards or shared across social media platforms with ease. Moreover, shortened links can enhance security and trust, helping to avoid phishing or malicious link practices often associated with cryptic long URLs. Our project aims to simplify online interactions by offering a reliable, secure, and efficient URL shortening solution.

Hearing about the violent activities that occur on a daily basis around the world is quite overwhelming. Personal safety and social stability are seriously threatened by the violent activities. A variety of methods have been tried to curb the violent activities which includes installing of surveillance systems. It will be of great significance if the surveillance systems can automatically detect violent activities and give warning or alert signals. The whole system can be implemented with a sequence of procedures. Firstly, the system has to identify the presence of human beings in a video frame. Then, the frames which are predicted to contain violent activities has to be extracted. The irrelevant frames are to be dropped at this stage. Finally, the trained model detects violent behaviour and these frames are separately saved as images. The enhanced images along with other necessary details such as time and location is sent as an alert to the concerned authority. The proposed method is a deep learning based automatic detection approach that uses Convolutional Neural Network to detect violence present in a video. An alert message is given to the concerned authorities using telegram application.

Using Jhumpa Lahiri's "The Namesake" and Monica Ali's "Brick Lane," this study examines how fictional characters handle cultural hybridity. This study examines how Ashima Ganguli and Nazneen Ahmed navigate cultural identity, displacement, and belonging in diaspora environments. Compare the two characters to achieve this. This study examines how both writers depict immigrant women's transformation as they adapt to new cultures using postcolonial and feminist theoretical frameworks. The analysis found that both protagonists handle hybrid characters differently while facing similar challenges. The study helps explain diasporic female identities and cultural hybridity in current international literature.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 plays a pivotal role in the revival and global promotion of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) by integrating indigenous wisdom into mainstream education. It promotes interdisciplinary research in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedic sciences, and fosters collaborations with international institutions Cultural diplomacy serves as a vital instrument in shaping international relations, fostering mutual understanding, and promoting intellectual exchange. India, with its vast and diverse knowledge systems encompassing Ayurveda, Yoga, Sanskrit, Vedic sciences, classical arts, astronomy, and philosophy--offers a profound intellectual heritage that has influenced civilizations for centuries. This paper serves the purpose of highlighting how India can leverage cultural diplomacy to globally promote its knowledge systems, positioning them as integral to education, healthcare, technology, and sustainable development. From the expansion of Buddhist philosophy to the mathematical contributions that informed modern computing, the research looks at historical examples of how Indian knowledge has influenced worldwide ideas. It showcases modern diplomatic endeavors that strengthen India's soft power, like International Yoga Day, the incorporation of Ayurveda into international wellness practices, and cooperative educational projects. The paper also assesses how policy frameworks, cultural exchanges, and digital diplomacy have contributed to the institutionalization of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in the international academic and research community. The investigation of how cutting-edge technologies--AI, block chain, digital archives, and AR/VR--can modernize, authenticate, and scale IKS for worldwide deployment is a distinctive feature of this study. In order to transform IKS from merely cultural representation to a paradigm of knowledge leadership that tackles global issues like sustainability, mental health, and technological ethics, it promotes cross-sector collaborations between governments, universities, tech firms, and cultural organizations. India can strengthen its intellectual influence and ensure cultural sustainability while establishing IKS as a transformative force in the contemporary knowledge economy by fusing strategic digital initiatives with ancient wisdom.

Road safety remains a critical global concern, with timely accident detection and emergency response being pivotal to reducing fatalities and enhancing traffic management. This paper presents an innovative automated accident detection system that leverages machine learning and IoT technology. The system employs IoT-enabled streetlight cameras to continuously monitor vehicle movements and capture real-time traffic footage. A YOLO-based deep learning model, trained on a self-collected, labeled dataset, processes this footage to detect accidents instantly. Upon detection, the system triggers automated alerts by sending emergency emails to control rooms and activating nearby alarms, thereby minimizing response time and facilitating rapid intervention. This integrated approach not only enhances the accuracy and speed of accident detection but also contributes significantly to improving overall road safety The system operates by continuously monitoring environmental and vehicular parameters such as sudden deceleration, collision impact, and abnormal movements. IoT-enabled sensors embedded in streetlights capture data, which is processed and analyzed by an advanced ML model to identify accident patterns with high accuracy. Upon detecting an incident, the system immediately triggers alerts to nearby authorities, medical services, and traffic management systems, ensuring prompt emergency response.
