Bangalore, also known as Bengaluru, is facing a severe water crisis exacerbated by rapid urbanization, population growth, and climate change. The city's water demand far exceeds its supply, leading to critical shortages and over-extraction of groundwater. This abstract delves into the causes of Bangalore's water crisis, including inefficient water management, pollution of water bodies, and encroachment of lakes. It also explores potential solutions such as rainwater harvesting, wastewater recycling, lake rejuvenation, and policy reforms aimed at sustainable water usage. Addressing these issues requires a multifaceted approach involving government intervention, community participation, and technological innovation to ensure a sustainable water future for Bangalore.

In this paper, we concentrate on the compressible viscoelastic streams in three-layered entire space. We use the energy method to find a one-of-a-kind global solution assuming minimal initial data. The higher-order spatial derivatives of the solution's time decay rates are also obtained. if the initial data belong to additionally.

Dividend policy, a crucial corporate finance decision, determines the portion of company income distributed to shareholders. Despite extensive research since Lintner's work in 1956, whether dividends enhance or diminish firm value remains unresolved. Dividend strategy, rewarding shareholders while reducing internal capital, is intertwined with investment and financing decisions, impacting shareholder value maximization. Utilizing databases like Scopus and Web of Science, a systematic literature review on dividend policy examined 768 articles over 47 years. The analysis highlights a surge in publications since 2005, indicative of increasing research interest. Affiliation statistics show the US as the highest contributor, followed by the UK, with most top contributing organizations based in the US. This study underscores the ongoing academic curiosity and the importance of dividend policy in corporate finance, shedding light on areas for future research and emphasizing the role of databases like Web of Science in facilitating such investigations.

This paper attempts to analyse the backward class movement in India and its effects on Indian society. Due to the negative effects of the caste system, a backward class movement arises. It also includes the Dravidian, SNDP, and Mahar movements. People in other countries are not divided like this. The caste system in India creates a bundle of social problems because some castes deliberately outnumber others. Social differences on the foundation of the caste system have remained constant due to the long tradition of giving importance to castes. Violence and terrorism take place when people from one caste attack people from another caste. With the expansion of the national movement, backward caste/class movements emerged among the depressed castes and the marginalised sections of the society in different parts of India. The difference between the religious and caste movements is that while the former attacked the evil practices of Hinduism, the latter encouraged its supporters to find solutions to their problems in the contours of Hinduism, i.e., rejected their religion.

Confrontational thinking and a lack of risk management understanding have resulted in a difficult competitive climate for Indian general insurers. The general public's faith in the insurance business has become a critical issue for the industry's success. The insurance sector's regulator demonstrated through statistical data that the general insurance market is not growing at an acceptable rate. For many years, penetration has been exceedingly low. The existence of insurance firms is dependent on effective human resources, particularly agents. As a result, general insurers strive to focus on sales agent performance in order to enhance firm sales and grab a substantial market share. Therefore, the goal of this study was to examine the existing relationship between salesperson abilities and agent performance in India's general insurance industry. Using a quantitative methodology, the study mailed surveys to 400 insurance brokers in the general insurance industry at random. The study utilized salesperson sales performance as independent variables and selling skill components (interpersonal skills, salesmanship skills, technical skills, and marketing skills) as dependent variables. According to the study, a salesperson's performance is most strongly influenced by their interpersonal abilities.

'Work from Home' or 'remote work' is a very popular term these days. During the COVID-19 pandemic that forced the majority of office employees and workers to work from home. Prior to that, the practice of working full days from home, or out of the office was largely known as the telecommuting. Many terms have been similarly confused over the years. These include distributed work, remote work, mobile work, work-from-home (WFH), home working (primarily used in the U.K.), flexible work, agile work, hybrid work and others. The confusion in terminology is not simply a matter of semantics. Despite the steady rise in remote work, most of them are from IT industries, the majority of the workforce (59.1%) still work in the respective offices. This percentage underscores the fact that while remote work is on an upswing, traditional in office work cannot be obsolete present or in future also.

This article analyzes Muslim treatment of other religions in Medieval Bengal from 1204 to 1757 CE with a special reference to Muslim rulers and Sufi saints. The study is based on historical content analysis using a qualitative research design. The study shows the Muslim sultans and Mughals in the medieval period played a vital role in promoting interreligious harmony and human rights in Bengal. In addition, the Muslim missionaries and Sufis served as a force against religious hatred in society. The Muslim sultans and Mughals applied liberal and accommodative views toward non-Muslims. They did not force non-Muslims to accept Islam. Muslims and non-Muslims were integrated society, and they enjoyed full socio-economic and religious rights. Moreover, Sufis conducted various approaches toward Muslims and non-Muslims as well. They promoted the message of equality and moral conduct among the diver's faiths of the people. They also applied liberal, syncretism, and accommodative attitude in attracting non-Muslims to Islam in Bengal. The study concludes that most rulers were sympathetic and cooperative in dealing with the people of other religions.
