The Constitution of the Ter?panth sect is not merely a document of governance; it is a living organism, constantly adapting to the evolving dynamics of its community and the world. Over centuries, the Constitution has guided the sect through its unyielding commitment to discipline (ek ?c?ra) while embracing necessary changes to remain relevant in a rapidly shifting socio-political landscape. The interplay between tradition and transformation has made the Constitution a dynamic force, capable of addressing the aspirations and challenges of both ascetics and laities. This article delves into salient features of Ter?panth constitution that exemplify this dynamism, shedding light on how the Constitution continues to shape and be shaped by the multifaceted realities of Ter?panth

Tensions between modernity and tradition are key themes in global literature, especially in areas experiencing rapid changes that raise questions about reality. An individual's view is shaped by societal acceptance and personal choice. By looking at Natsume Soseki's I Am a Cat (1905) and Botchan (1906) alongside Gao Xingjian's Soul Mountain (1990), we can explore the limits of human understanding. Many works from Chinese and Japanese literature critique Confucian values, pointing out the flaws in hierarchical and moral beliefs when applied to real life. Zen Buddhism is important in Japanese literature, emphasizing perception and "emptiness" regarding assumptions. Meanwhile, Taoist philosophy in Chinese literature reflects doubt toward strict knowledge forms and investigates how accepting ambiguity can lead to harmony. Franz Kafka's works have influenced East Asian writers like Abe and Murakami as they address existential and knowledge-related themes. Michel Foucault's ideas about knowledge and power, especially in The Order of Things, inform postmodern literary methods. Ludwig Wittgenstein's studies about language limitations also prompt writers to question how knowledge is expressed and understood. Soul Mountain was written in Beijing and Paris between 1982 and 1989 and published in Chinese in Taipei in 1990. It is reflective and semi-autobiographical, inspired by Gao's journey along the Yangtze River. The story follows an intellectual figure misdiagnosed with cancer, who struggles spiritually between life and death and searches remote rural areas of Southwest China for self-discovery, cultural roots, and identity. The narrative shifts between first, second, and third-person perspectives, challenging the idea of a single identity and aligning with postmodern theories about language and truth. It examines how external systems like government and language impose assumptions. Gao Xingjian's experiences with political persecution during China's Cultural Revolution shape his investigation of knowledge and power. His writing explores how individuals perceive reality and often blurs the line between objective truth and subjective experience. The narrative interweaves folktales and myths with real events, highlighting that knowledge is formed through diverse cultural and personal lenses. I Am A Cat and Botchan both express that knowledge is subjective, based on personal experiences and social influences. They suggest that knowledge is dynamic, changing with societal and personal perspectives. In I Am A Cat, the cat narrator offers a sarcastic, detached view of human nature, revealing the inconsistencies between traditional Japanese values and Western ideas. This perspective illustrates the fluidity of truth, which is shaped by characters' limited understanding and conformity to societal norms. In Botchan, a young man navigates the tension between modern beliefs and strict rural customs while attending a provincial school. His modern outlook is tested against the old-fashioned mindset represented by school authorities. Botchan struggles with his self-awareness and the expectations around him. He initially believes he is a rational, modern individual, but encounters at school challenge this view, indicating that modern values are inadequate for understanding rural social dynamics. Like the cat in I Am A Cat, Botchan realizes the gap between his understanding and societal expectations. The cat's satirical tone critiques unreliable societal beliefs amidst Japan's Westernization, while Botchan's belief in his ability to navigate the rural school proves misguided, demonstrating that modern ideals cannot easily overcome entrenched traditions.

Abstract Affecting global socio-economic and geopolitical portraits are the escalated competition of trade and technology between the U.S. and China - making it a turning point with consequential repercussions for the Global South. It started out in 2018 as a mere trade dispute between the two countries and subsequently involved contestation for high-tech supremacy, which enlarged into rivalry over supply chains and strategic influence. Thus, the U.S. imposed tariffs, sanctions, and restrictions with the main target to slow China's progress in AI, semiconductors, and telecommunications; while China reconfigured its trajectory toward self-reliance and strength of economics with developing countries. This article evaluates the pertinent trade provisions, access to technology, and economic dependency with which countries in the Global South find themselves impacted by U.S.-China rivalry. Some countries, on the one hand, benefited generally in terms of increased investments and industrial opportunities, while others suffer strategic dilemmas coupled with increasing dependency brought about by realignment in the supply chain and geopolitical stresses. The growing polarization of international technology standards does even more to complicate the decision-making process for developing economies. The paper will thus seek to answer strategic questions around such changes, arguing that emerging economies must think adaptively to address the tension between economic and strategic options. Findings on how this rivalry plays out in the long run are imperative in determining the dynamics of future global trade, technology governance, and economic resilience in a fast-multipolarizing world.

Work-life balance is a significant challenge for working mothers in the healthcare sector, given the demanding nature of their profession. Healthcare jobs often require long hours, shift work, and emotional resilience, making it difficult for mothers to balance professional responsibilities with personal and family commitments. Key challenges include irregular work schedules, physical and mental exhaustion, limited maternity benefits, and societal expectations of caregiving. These factors contribute to stress, burnout, and career stagnation for many women in healthcare.

Automation has revolutionized industrial manufacturing by increasing efficiency, precision, and reliability. This research focuses on the development of an Automatic Stamping Machine controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to streamline stamping processes in industries such as packaging, metal fabrication, and product labelling. Traditional stamping methods often require manual intervention, leading to inconsistencies, time delays, and increased labour costs. The proposed system eliminates these challenges by integrating PLC-based automation to ensure high-speed, accurate, and repeatable stamping operations. The system is designed with key components, including a PLC unit, sensors, actuators, a pneumatic stamping mechanism, and a conveyor system. The PLC acts as the central control unit, receiving input signals from proximity and position sensors to determine the precise moment for stamping. Once activated, the pneumatic actuator presses the stamp onto the workpiece, ensuring uniform force and alignment. The automation process is further enhanced by a Human-Machine Interface (HMI), enabling operators to monitor and adjust parameters such as stamping pressure, cycle time, and batch count. This study explores the design, working principles, and programming logic involved in PLC-based stamping machines. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system enhances productivity by reducing cycle time, minimizing errors, and ensuring uniform stamping quality. Additionally, the integration of sensors improves reliability and reduces material wastage. The research highlights the cost-effectiveness and scalability of PLC-based automation in stamping applications, making it suitable for various industrial sectors.

Terrain monitoring for construction aims to revolutionize residential building approvals in hill stations by developing an integrated system that rapidly generates suitable building designs, considering critical site-specific factors. Leveraging an IoT sensor network, the system collects real-time data on soil type, and environmental conditions, which is then processed to assess land stability and suitability. The data is transmitted to a Blynk-enabled platform, providing a user-friendly interface for visualization and analysis. By incorporating pre-approved, the system checks the approval process, ensuring compliance with local regulations and geotechnical considerations. Furthermore, the system allows customization to meet individual user needs, addressing aesthetic and functional preferences without compromising safety. The data-driven approach significantly reduces approval delays, minimizes construction risks, and fosters sustainable development in challenging hilly terrains, ultimately balancing regulatory efficiency with user satisfaction. The Blynk application provides real-time data visualization, historical data logging, and customizable alert notifications, ensuring timely intervention and proactive risk mitigation.
