The sudden expansion of the Alexa Skills platform has introduced opportunities and challenges of scaling the catalog efficiently. With the emergence of voice-controlled functionalities, scaling has become necessary to ensure seamless scalability while preserving performance, customer satisfaction, and security. This paper provides an examination of the technical practices employed to scale the Alexa Skills catalog between 2015 and 2024, identifying the key breakthroughs including serverless architecture, cloud-based models, application of machine learning, and the adoption of multiple data management approaches. Although the field has evolved significantly, there are a number of gaps in the existing body of literature regarding third-party skills' interoperability, optimization of skill discovery in an over-saturated market, and efficient use of edge computing to minimize latency in heavy-traffic skills. Studies indicate that initial scaling efforts heavily relied on cloud-native services like AWS Lambda to facilitate serverless computing to address increasing demand. However, challenges such as ensuring fault tolerance, management of large user data, and scalable database solution design have been common. Further, despite increasing use of machine learning strategies to boost personalization and recommendation engines, there are shortfalls in properly predicting skill growth and user engagement. Further, security concerns in managing third-party skills and user data require ongoing attention. This study identifies the issues encountered and suggests potential avenues for future research to improve the scalability, performance, and security of Alexa Skills. Future research can be aimed at advanced techniques like federated learning to enable user-specific experiences, as well as building more robust API frameworks that have better interoperability between skills in order to overcome present constraints and encourage further growth in the ecosystem.

This study explores the theme of eulogistic expression in the poetic works of Umar bin Abi Rabia and Al-Mutanabbi, two prominent figures in classical Arabic literature. While both poets engage with the tradition of madh (praise), their styles, purposes, and contexts differ significantly. Umar bin Abi Rabia, known for his romantic and lyrical poetry, often embeds praise within expressions of love and personal admiration, offering a softer, more intimate form of eulogy. In contrast, Al-Mutanabbi's poetry is marked by intellectual depth, rhetorical brilliance, and political resonance, using eulogy as a means of asserting both the subject's and the poet's greatness. This comparative study highlights the varied manifestations of eulogistic thought from the subtle and emotional to the grand and philosophical demonstrating the richness and diversity of the Arabic poetic tradition. Through close reading and literary analysis, the paper aims to deepen understanding of how made functions as a cultural, personal, and political expression across different poetic voices.

Ernest Hemingway's novella The Old Man and the Sea stands as a powerful allegorical representation of the human condition. Through the story of Santiago, an old and isolated fisherman, Hemingway explores the universal themes of struggle, perseverance, dignity, and the search for meaning in a world filled with hardship. Santiago's epic battle with the marlin and his subsequent loss reflect not only the physical realities of life but also the deeper spiritual and existential challenges faced by mankind. The sea symbolizes the vast uncertainties of life, the marlin represents human aspiration, and the sharks signify the inevitable forces that diminish human achievement. This study analyzes how Hemingway's minimalist prose and rich symbolism work together to portray man's life on Earth as a continuous journey of endurance and quiet heroism. Ultimately, the novella affirms that while man may be defeated in the material sense, his spirit can remain undefeated through courage and resilience.

Installing photovoltaic (PV) systems in buildings is one of the most effective strategies for achieving sustainable energy goals and reducing carbon emissions. However, the requirement for efficient energy management, the fluctuating energy demands, and the intermittent nature of solar power are a few of the obstacles to the seamless integration of PV systems into buildings. These complexities surpass the capabilities of rule-based systems, necessitating innovative solutions. The research proposes a deep learning-based optimal energy management system designed specifically for home micro-grids that incorporate PV systems with battery energy storage, Enhanced Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)-Based Optimal Home Micro-Grid Energy Management (OHM-GEM). Integrating an improved type of LSTM neural network called LSTM into the energy management system improves the reliability of PV power output predictions. The dependability of PV power production forecasts is increased by including a refined version of the LSTM neural network in the energy management system. With considerable gains in energy efficiency, cost savings, and decreased reliance on non-renewable energy sources, the results highlight the possibility of this approach to forward sustainable energy practices

Communication barriers faced by individuals with hearing or speech impairments often hinder their ability to interact effectively with the hearing community. This project presents the design and implementation of a Smart Glove system for Sign Language Translation using an Arduino-based platform. The system employs two gloves, each embedded with five flex sensors--one on each finger--enabling the real-time detection of finger movements corresponding to sign language gestures. The gloves are connected to an Arduino microcontroller, which processes the analog signals from the flex sensors to identify specific hand gestures. A 16x2 LCD display is used to show the interpreted text, while an audio converter module and speaker provide a voice output of the recognized gestures. This dual-output system ensures that the translated message is accessible both visually and audibly, enhancing communication with non-sign language users. The system is powered by a reliable power supply module, ensuring portability and ease of use. By translating sign language into both text and speech, this project aims to bridge the communication gap, offering an assistive technology solution that is cost-effective, wearable, and efficient for real-world applications.

In this study, the title of the research project is "Attitude of Postgraduate Students Towards Mobile Learning of Class VI Students." The aims of the research are to investigate the progress that postgraduate students have made toward mobile learning. There are a total of one hundred (100) postgraduate students who are included in the study's sample. Of them, fifty (50) males and fifty (50) females are postgraduate students who are interested in mobile learning. The questionnaires that were used to gather data were self-made. The attitudes of male and female postgraduate students toward mobile learning are not significantly different. Additionally, the research demonstrates that compared to the male group of students, the female group has a somewhat more favorable attitude toward mobile learning. Additionally, the research shows that students from urban areas benefit more from mobile learning than students from rural areas.

Customer retention has become critical in the highly competitive banking sector. Implementing focused retention strategies requires the ability to predict customer churn, the phenomenon where customers end their relationship with a bank. Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), two well-known machine learning algorithms, are compared in this study for the purpose of forecasting bank customer attrition. To evaluate the performance of these algorithms, we look at accuracy, precision, and recall. Our study's findings offer important new information about how well these algorithms work to solve this pressing problem.
