Plastics are a synthetic non-degradable polymer material used for all applications almost everywhere to meet the growing demands. The conventional plastics take long periods to degrade, upto 100 years and it leads to environmental issues. Bioplastics are degradable polymer material which will degrade at a shorter time period and hence is a most promising alternative for conventional plastics. The current study describes the synthesis of bioplastic from Tridax procumbens leaves a source of natural polymer along with addition of PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol), Glycerol and citric acid plasticizers. The prepared bioplastic S-1 (25ml of T.procumbens extract, 2g of PVA, 1ml of glycerol and 1g of citric acid), S-2 (25ml of T.procumbens extract treated with HCl, 2g of PVA, 1ml of glycerol and 1g of citric acid) both shows a good characteristic with smooth surface, transparent and flexible nature. Importantly the formulated bioplastic are free from bacterial and fungal contamination during storage. The formulated bioplastic degrade in the environment without causing harmful effect to the environment as it is made by biodegradable polymer and this will be a prominent alternative source to overcome the environmental plastic pollution in the current scenario.

Solid lipid nanoparticles are at the forefront of the rapidly developing field of nanotechnology with several potential applications in drug delivery, clinical medicine, and research, as well as in other varied sciences. This review presents a broad treatment of solid lipid nanoparticles discussing their aims, production procedures, advantages, limitations and their possible remedies. The ability to incorporate drugs into Nanoparticle system offers a new prototype in drug delivery that could use for drug targeting. The preparation techniques for production of SLN are Novel and more efficient. Appropriate analytical techniques for the characterization of SLN. Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) have emerged as a next-generation drug delivery system with potential applications in pharmaceutical field, cosmetics, research, clinical medicine and other allied sciences. Recently, increasing attention has been focused on these SLN as colloidal drug carriers for incorporating hydrophilic or lipophilic drugs.

The study evaluated the process of implementation of the Greater Port Harcourt City Development Master Plan in Rivers State, Nigeria from its inception in 2009 to 2019. The study set out to socio-economic impacts of implementation of the Master Plan. In the study, subjects (respondents, 332) were studied in situ without experimental manipulation and at one period in time, i.e. the study adopted a passive-observational research design. The study utilized both primary and secondary data sources. The latter included face-to-face administration of a largely pre-coded household questionnaire to a probability sample of 332 respondents drawn from the three study communities. The study utilizes the Hazard and Effects Management Process. Both forms of assessment revealed that that the implementation of the Master Plan affected among others, traditional occupation s(livelihood), reduction in levels of income and financial flows, increase in level of poverty and rise in inflation in the study area. The study concludes that the negative effects notwithstanding, have led to sprouting of small business, temporary jobs. Recommendations proffered includes (1) that the Government or its Agency (GPHCDA) should ensure that it pays all outstanding compensation to affected community landowners to aid their occupational readjustment,(2) Government should also improve on the available sources of livelihood through the establishment of agro-based and other industries in the area to provide more job opportunities, thereby helping to alleviate poverty,(3) Government should create jobs and improve on the sources of income of the people; and (4)Reduce the level of poverty through the provision of employment opportunities and other empowerment schemes.

Introduction: In today's age of evidence- based medicine and continuing use of folk remedies for the treatment of medical conditions warrants evaluation. While going through the literatures, there are limited numbers of studies related to knowledge, attitude, and practices during common childhood illness among mothers. The objectives of the study were to assess the knowledge and attitude of the mothers towards care of the child during common childhood illnesses and to find the relationship between knowledge of mothers during common childhood illnesses. It was also found there was significant positive correlation (p<0.001) between knowledge and attitude. The study concluded that majority of mothers have good knowledge and favourable attitude towards care of the child during common childhood illnesses.

Society marks the beginning of any civilization. Before understanding the poems of Nissim Ezekiel and Keki N. Daruwalla we should understand the proper meaning and function of social aspects. Society is constructed through some set up rules which include religion and language. This acts like a tool in constructing a healthy society. After religion and language there comes education which distinguishes human beings from other creatures of the earth. We all know such things but we take these things as for granted and that is why we have anti social elements and criminals in our society. No society can exist without these antisocial elements and criminals. I am talking about anti social elements and criminals because keki N. Daruwalla has served in Indian Police Service and he has a wide experience of reading characters in the society. It is visible in his poems and it is one of the reasons that we should understand the proper strata of the society. History has witnessed so many civilizations which vanished with the flow of time. Every society were nurtured according to the demand of time and thus it is clear that time plays a very important role in constructing any society. Let us not be confused between civilization and society. They are not synonyms to each other but they complete each other.

The water needs of the hilly people for generations have been met by natural sources of water. Traditionally, Tuikhur (i.e., water seepages accumulated in artificially fabricated reservoirs and springs water collected in artificial tanks) on the hill slopes and collection of rainwater is used as the main source of drinking water in Aizawl. The affordability of water has a significant influence on the use of water and selection of water sources. The high cost of water may force households to use alternative sources of water of poorer quality that may present a greater risk to health. Furthermore, high costs of water may reduce the volumes of water used by households, which in turn may influence hygiene practices and increase risks of disease transmission.

Flora is the breathing spores of ecosystem which holds the surface of earth to its heart. It is the green mirror of the ecosystem that absorbs toxic gases and makes the fresh. It ranges from the tiny Wolffia species (water meal) to giant water lily. A total of 111 vascular plant under 24 orders and 49 families were recorded. 110 were angiosperms and 1 gymnosperm. Poaceae is the dominant family. Based on the IVI values, we can identify the richly and poorly established plant species. Ludwigia grandiflora registered the highest IVI value of 16.33 and it is the richly established plant species. Conservation is essential to protect biodiversity and to impede the ongoing and upholding loss of plant diversity.
