Contemporary recruitment processes are burdened by manual resume screening, absence of intelligent candidate ranking, and lack of real-time job-fit analysis. This paper presents NextStep, an intelligent full-stack job portal platform developed using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) with a real NLP-powered resume scoring engine utilizing TF-IDF vectorization and Cosine Similarity. The platform implements a decoupled three-tier architecture with a dedicated React.js frontend, Node.js + Express.js REST API backend, and MongoDB Atlas cloud database. Role-based access control separates recruiter and job seeker workflows with JWT authentication and bcryptjs password security. The NLP scoring engine extracts text from PDF and DOCX resumes using pdf-parse and mammoth libraries, preprocesses tokens via Porter Stemmer and stop-word removal, constructs TF-IDF vectors, and computes Cosine Similarity scores in the range 0-100. Performance benchmarking confirmed an average API response time of approximately 150 ms, resume NLP analysis completion within 1-2 seconds, and frontend load time of approximately 1.2 seconds. These results validate NextStep as a production-ready academic prototype demonstrating that real NLP-based intelligent recruitment is achievable within a lightweight open-source MERN architecture without GPU infrastructure or proprietary cloud services.

India's real estate sector has been for a long time a point of focus for unaccounted wealth circulation and illicit tax avoidance practices, especially because of its high-value cash-based transactions. While reforms have received substantial attention in major metropolitan areas, second-tier urban centers remain relatively underexamined. This research hunts through various policy interventions like the 2016 currency invalidation move of 2016, the implementation of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA)), amendments to the legislation against proxy property holdings, and the introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST) to study their effeciency in curbing illicit financial activity in emerging urban markets. Relying entirely on pre-existing published data from government documents, media reports, real estate analytics, and academic papers, the paper explores the shifts in transaction trends, registration practices, and pricing corrections. While some progress is evident, systemic inefficiencies and enforcement challenges continue to obstruct complete transparency in Tier II regions. The study concludes by proposing robust digitization, localized Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) empowerment, and awareness leads as next steps for sustained reform.

Abstract The escalating environmental impact of petroleum-based plastics has intensified global interest in bioplastics derived from renewable agricultural wastes and agro-products. This comprehensive review critically evaluates various agricultural feedstocks including starch-rich residues, lignocellulosic biomass, agro-industrial wastes, and microbially synthesized bioplastics such as polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs). Comparative assessment is performed based on mechanical properties, biodegradability, process feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability. A review-based statistical interpretation using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) highlights significant differences (p < 0.05) among bioplastics derived from different agro-feedstocks. The findings suggest that lignocellulosic and microbial bioplastics exhibit superior mechanical performance, while starch-based bioplastics demonstrate enhanced biodegradability and economic viability. The review emphasizes integrated agro-waste utilization strategies as the most promising approach for sustainable bioplastic development

This paper explores the scope of environmental education in the National Policy on Education 2020 (NEP, 2020). The United Nations Declaration of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG-4), which focuses on quality education for sustainable development, is impossible to achieve without increasing environmental awareness and adopting practical approaches in education to teach an orientation for bringing change. As the climate crisis is becoming a cause of concern on a day-to-day basis, education can serve as one of the best ways to control the rising problem. The Ministry of Education emphasizes NEP 2020's role in the proper integration of environmental awareness and responsiveness towards enhancing conservation and promoting sustainable development. The study asserts that the recognition of environmental education as a multidisciplinary subject is crucial, as it aids in understanding the complex interaction of the environment and society. Moreover, understanding localized or context-specific environmental issues is the need of the hour. Therefore, proper implementation of NEP 2020 has a poignant role to play in fulfilling the educational objectives in the context of Environmental Education for sustainable development.

Missing person cases continue to be a daunting task for law enforcement agencies around the globe. The traditional investigation methods primarily depend on manual identification procedures, witness reports, and scattered information systems, which are slowing down the time it takes to find missing persons in many cases. With the ramping up of availability of security tools like CCTV cameras and the great progress made in Artificial Intelligence (AI) facial recognition technologies can be a major game changer for enhancing the speed of finding missing persons. In this article, we put forward TraceBack, a missing person identification and case management system powered by AI for the police department. With this system, the police can create profiles of missing persons by uploading their photos along with other biometric details like name age gender, last known location, and Aadhaar number. The system simultaneously extracts a 512, dimensional facial embedding from the DeepFace ArcFace model that acts as a mathematical depiction of the person's facial traits.

Bank loan processing entails assessing the financial information of a loan applicant and verification of the information that has been presented. This check is in most instances performed manually and hence can slow down the process of approval and in some instances it may invoke some error. This paper proposes a hybrid model, which combines document validation and AI-based loan assessment and monitoring tools. The system is a fast-tracked clarification of the decision, which introduces transparency and enhances the efficiency of the process. The candidates complete their financial information and attach their documents, such as identity evidence, paychecks, and credit card reports. These documents are analyzed by the system to identify the relevant information, and compared with the information that the applicant has filled in; any mismatch should cause a red flag which is achieved via LlamaIndex. Once we have verified the data, a LoRA fine-tuned Qwen model is used in the prediction of the loan status either approved or rejected based on the financial profile of the applicant. The process is also more transparent and efficient because a brief explanation of the decision is presented by the system.

Over the past decade, social media has become deeply embedded in the everyday lives of adolescents. Beyond simple communication, these platforms now shape how young people explore identity, perceive their appearance, and evaluate their overall sense of self. In this context, the present study explored the psychological correlates of social media engagement among Indian early adolescents residing in Dubai, with particular attention to physical self-perception and self-esteem. A quantitative cross-sectional research design was employed using a sample of 102 students studying in Grades 6 to 8 in private English-medium schools in Dubai. Participants were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. Standardized instruments used in the study included the Social Media Engagement Questionnaire (SMEQ), the Body Appreciation Scale for Adolescents (BASA), and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and independent samples t-tests. The findings indicated a statistically significant positive association between social media engagement and physical self-perception. However, no significant relationship was observed between social media usage and self-esteem. Gender differences in both physical self-perception and self-esteem were not statistically significant. A significant negative relationship was found between physical self-perception and self-esteem. Appearance-based comparison did not significantly predict body dissatisfaction. The findings highlight the complex and culturally shaped nature of social media's psychological influence on adolescents within multicultural environments such as Dubai. The study contributes to the growing literature on adolescent digital behavior and underscores the need for balanced digital engagement and supportive social environments to promote healthy self-development.
