 Abstract

BACKGROUND 46,XX DSD Aromatase deficiency (AroD) is a congenital atypical development of chromosomal, gonadal or anatomic sex. Definitive diagnosis AroD established by CYP19A1 mutation analysis, however the diagnosis is challenging due to the lack of a resource-restricted setting. OBJECTIVE To establish the diagnosis of AroD and its management in resource-restricted setting. CASE A 12-years old reared as a boy, presenting with ambiguous genitalia, a small size of penis and almost complete labioscrotal fusion with a single perineal opening consist of Prader stage III genitalia. He underwent Urologic USG, abdominal laparoscopic and karyotyping, revealed no sign of both testis on inguinal nor scrotum, normal size of ovary, fallopian tube and uterus, and chromosome analysis 46,XX. Congenital adrenal hyperplasia(CAH) was excluded by sign virilized female, no hypertension, normal electrolyte serum dan 17OH-P. Disorder of ovarian development was excluded by sign normal Mullerian structure and inadequate response hCG test. Before pregnacy the mother had hormonal therapy for 3 months and suffered from severe acne during pregnancy. The combination of maternal virilization, in-utero virilization and features of estrogen deficiency strongly suggested Aromatase Deficiency. Gender assingment was conducted by an interdisciplinary team work, the parent decided to reassignment gender to female. Hormone replacement therapy was administered followed by feminization surgery. CONCLUSION In resource-restricted setting, the diagnosis of AroD was established by excluded the others causa of 46,XX DSD and its management consist of gender assignment, hormone replacement therapy and reconstruction surgery.

 Abstract

Introduction In ancient Ayurvedic literature, the names Vyadhi and Roga are the most commonly used terminology for disease or illness. Diseases are given many different names in Ayurveda, such as Vikara, abadha, 'papa-dukha,' amaya, yaksma, gada, atanka, and so on. All of these names have been given to Rogas because of their impact on the somatic, psychological, karmic, and metaphysical levels. The location or base (Adhisthana) of illnesses, according to Charka, is the mind (manas) and body (sharira), as well as the senses (Indriyas) (vedana). Manas Vikara is recognized as triggering variables of psychosomatic disorder in this context. Charaka has identified three elements that are responsible for the onset of sickness. Methodology - The material of manas Vikara collected from various authentic articles, literature, websites etc. Discussion Ayurveda describes several ailments that are primarily caused by mana yet manifest as systemic symptoms. Shokaja Jwara, Kamaj jvara, Krodhaja jvara, Bhayaja atisara, Shokaja atisara, and so on are names based on the involved Manasika Vikara. Conclusion Psychosomatic disorders are medical illnesses that are linked to a psychological condition. A psychosomatic disease is a physical ailment that is defined by an intrinsic structural change in the body that is induced or made worse by stress.

This paper consists of the work undertaken of the study of dielectric constant of aqueous solution of Piperine for various concentrations. The time domain reflectometry technique is used for the study in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 30 GHz. The relaxation time(?),The static dielectric constant(??),?dielectric constant at higher frequency (??) of mixture of Piperine with water have evaluated at 250c.

In healthcare sector IoT is communication between a doctor and a patient. It provides the security of patient. IoT with the use of block chaining provide the major security. With the use of IoT and block chain we build the trust in transaction data. It can find the scam calls, messages like google pay find the scam transaction. It provides the greater flexibility with the cloud computing. We used the transaction with card with the uses of IoT and the block chaining we use the transaction without pin we used the visa card which use the AI and IoT in which sensor are used .so in our daily life we used the IoT and block chaining is make our challenging.  Abstract

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is one among the most common childhood condition which exhibits as inattention, impulsivity and over activity. Objective: The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching program on knowledge regarding ADHD and its management strategies among parents of primary school children and to find the association between pretest knowledge scores with selected demographic variables. Materials and Methods: A quantitative approach with one group pretest post-test experimental design with 70 participants who were selected under purposive sampling technique was used in this study. Results: The study reveals a mean pretest knowledge score of 13.24 and it was increased to in post-test knowledge mean score of 16.33 after implementing Structured Teaching Program. A statistically significant association was also observed for residence (0.024) and type of family (0.007) at a significance level of p < 0.05 and p < 0.01 respectively. These data exclaims the need of continued ADHD screening and teaching for teachers and parents on a regular basis.

 Abstract

Novel tetraazamacrocyclic complexes of Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) has been synthesized from the reaction of ethylenediamine with Meldrums acid and divalent metal ions using solid-supported perchloric acid (HClO4-SiO2) as a catalyst. The complexes were characterized by IR, 1HNMR, EPR spectra, magnetic moments, conductance, thermal analysis (TGA and DTA), and powder X-ray analysis (XRD). The antimicrobial studies of these complexes against Staphylococcus typhi, Staphylococcus aurieus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis species by Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) method revealed that these complexes possess potent antibacterial activity.
