Shrubs are an integral component of any ecosystem and are important from both ecological and economical point of view. In arid regions shrubs have distinct significance, as these are hardy, have more adaptive power and are the source of food, fuel, fodder, fiber, gum, dye, and other products in these biomass deficient areas. Shrub as a vegetation form is hardier than the tree is proved beyond doubt by the presence of shrubs beyond the tree limit. A survey is conducting for listing the naturally growing shurbs in the vicinity of Sri Ganganagar city. Abutilon indicum, Acacia Jacquemonti, Calotropis procera and Verbesina encelioides are dominant shrubs species in the study area.

This paper proposes a new metaheuristic algorithm inspired by gorilla troops social intelligence in nature, called Artificial Gorilla Troops Optimizer (GTO) has been used to determine the optimal values of the proportional-integral-deviation (PID) controller for the load frequency control. Single area power system has been designed as a model network for MATLAB-Simulink simulation. The comparison has been done between the PID controller tuned by Particle Swarmoptimization (PSO) and Bacteria Foraging optimization (BFO) technique. Based on time settling, transient and overshoot analysis, it can be concluded and profoundly proved that PID tuning by GTO technique is better than PSO and conventional BFO based PID controllers.

Hospital buildings have immense post-earthquake importance. Post-earthquake both structural and non-structural components of building should remain functional. Performance-Based Design is a powerful approach to structural engineering evolved from ongoing efforts to resolve the differences between the actual observed performance and the expected performance of structures. In this article non-linear static analysis (pushover analysis) has been done to understand the behavior of G+10 multistorey Hospital building located in different seismic zones (III, IV, V) of India having similar geometrical properties using SAP2000. The behavior of multistoried building has been investigated considering Immediate occupancy as performance objective in terms of force-displacement relationships, inelastic behavior of structure and sequential hinge formations etc. From the analysis results, it was observed that, when the zone varies from III to V, base shear, displacement and time period has been increased gradually, indicating the severity of seismic activity. Plastic hinge formation which determines the behaviour of the structure was studied.

Telemedicine has potential to help individuals in rural areas overcome geographical barriers and to improve access to care. The factors that influence the implementation and use of telehealth in critical access hospitals are in needed to be explored and used in a proper manner to provide the required services. This study gives a brief about such factors that affect or influences the use of telemedicine in current societal scenario. Although telemedicine use has become more prevalent, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not widespread; thus, its benefits have not been fully realized. For telehealth to show potential benefits in the long term beyond the public health emergency, its services must fit into changes in the health care landscape, including the advent of alternative care delivery and payment models, greater integration of physical and behavioural health services, and efforts to address workforce challenges. Health care organizations around the world have become increasingly interested in acquiring and implementing telemedicine technology to improve or extend existing patient care and services. The ultimate success of telemedicine in an adopting organization requires adequate attention to both technological and managerial issues.

Every child is unique Children progress rapidly in their early years. Screening and Identification of Disabilities Screening is a procedure that identifies a person who needs further assessment for diagnosis of a disability. Alternatively said, screening helps in `suspecting' disability in a person. A screening procedure does not `confirm' disability, but helps in short listing for detailed assessment. Screening is assessing a whole population in order to identify those individuals for whom some intervention in development would be beneficial. For example 'New-born Hearing Screening' is mandatory in most countries. The 1-3-6 protocol emphasised in the Position Statement of the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing recommends that all new-borns be screened for hearing loss by one month of age, appropriate amplification be provided by three months of age and early intervention needs to commence not later than six months of age. Though this is yet to become mandatory in India, there have been initiatives to create awareness and undertake early screening on the part of National Institutes and some NGOs.
