 Abstract

The archetype, or character type, of the Byronic hero was first developed by the famous 19th-century English Romantic poet Lord Byron. Most literary scholars and historians consider the first literary Byronic hero to be Byron's Childe Harold, the protagonist of Byron's epic poem Childe Harold's Pilgrimage. However, many literary scholars and historians also point to Lord Byron himself as the first truly Byronic hero, for he exemplified throughout his life the characteristics of the sort of literary hero he would make famous in his writing. A Byronic hero can be conceptualized as an extreme variation of the Romantic hero archetype. Traditional Romantic heroes tend to be defined by their rejection or questioning of standard social conventions and norms of behavior, their alienation from

 Abstract

GST also known as the Goods and Services Tax is defined as the giant indirect tax structure designed to support and enhance the economic growth of a country. More than 150 countries have implemented GST so far. However, the idea of GST in India was mooted by Vajpayee government in 2000 and the constitutional amendment for the same was passed by the Loksabha on 6th May 2015 but is yet to be ratified by the Rajyasabha. However, there is a huge hue and cry against its implementation. It would be interesting to understand why this proposed GST regime may hamper the growth and development of the country. After a lot of deliberation, our GST council has finalised the rates for all the goods and major service categories under various tax slabs, and the GST is expected to fill the

 Abstract

The Swavalamban Self-Employment Scheme, initiated in Tripura in 2001, is designed to foster entrepreneurship by offering financial support to unemployed individuals and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). This initiative provides loans and subsidies to stimulate self-employment activities across diverse sectors. This research assesses the effectiveness of the scheme, with particular emphasis on its effects on beneficiaries, trends in financial disbursement, and the obstacles encountered by marginalized groups. The findings indicate that, although the Swavalamban Scheme has played a crucial role in enhancing self-employment opportunities in Tripura, it is imperative to address underlying systemic inequalities. To achieve a more equitable and sustainable development of entrepreneurship in the state, improvements in financial inclusion, policy adjustments, and more effective implementation strategies are necessary.

 Abstract

Air and Water are essential components for living beings. The conventional method of testing water and air quality is to gather samples manually and send to the lab for test and analysis. This method is time-consuming, wastage of manpower, and not economical. Present work describes the design and development of Water and Air Quality Monitoring system. The water and air quality measuring system that we have implemented checks the quality of water and air in real time through various sensors (one for each parameter: pH, TDS, temperature, turbidity, MQ135, Dust sensor) using the IoT concept. The Wi-Fi module in the system transfers data collected by the sensors to the microcontroller and transfers the data to the smartphone/PC using the ThinkSpeak API. In addition, an alert system is deployed to alert PCB officials if water and air quality go down. This system can keep a strict check on the pollution of water and air.

 Abstract

The Bhakti Movement of North India (13th-17th centuries) was a transformative devotional movement that redefined Hinduism and Islam. Emphasizing intense personal devotion (bhakti) to a chosen deity or spiritual guide, this movement democratized spiritual experience, challenging traditional scriptural and ritualistic practices. Led by charismatic saints like Kabir, Guru Nanak, Mirabai, and Tulsidas, Bhakti poets and mystics expressed passionate love for the divine through vernacular literature, music, and art. This movement's enduring legacy has shaped North Indian culture, promoting inclusivity, tolerance, and spiritual seeking. The Bhakti Movement of North India, flourishing from the 13th to the 17th centuries, was a profound devotional movement that transcended sectarian boundaries, redefining Hinduism and Islam. By emphasizing intense personal devotion (bhakti) as the primary means of achieving spiritual liberation, this movement challenged traditional scriptural and ritualistic practices, promoting instead a direct, emotional connection with the divine. Under the guidance of charismatic saints and mystics, Bhakti poets and mystics expressed their profound love for the divine through a rich array of vernacular literature, music, and art, fostering a culture of inclusivity, tolerance, and spiritual seeking that continues to shape North Indian culture.
