Travel texts produced during the colonial era by both men and women adhere to stereotypical models written from the Eurocentric point of view and are therefore always one sided. The Other is not given any agency to represent the Self. English is the language of the colonizer, as far as India is concerned. Very few Indians had the knowledge of English. It is therefore imperative that they had no knowledge on how they were represented. Another reason was that their views were never considered. Since this paper pertains to a travel text by a British journalist Mary Frances Billington, written during the colonial times, the expectation would be naturally along the lines of the other travel texts produced during the colonial times. But, the text that is being written about in this paper which is titled, Woman of India, written by Mary Frances Billington, published in the year 1895 defies all norms, stereotypes and expectations. It stands out in the entire body of travel texts. This text also stands out for another reason. Though travel journalism and war reportage are other forms of travel writing considered as travel writing in the present day, the text in question is related to travel journalism, it has not been accorded the merit it truly deserves. Subsequently, it will be substantiated why this text alone should be viewed differently, if not totally apart, a bit away from Colonial tendencies.

The soundness of a company's financial position is related to its fundamentals. The basics provide information on a corporation. If a company is expanding profitably, increasing at a good rate, has few debts, and has enough of cash on hand, we can say that its fundamentals are strong. Instead of focusing on the daily fluctuations in a company's share price, an in-depth review of its financials is required to determine its fundamentals. Fundamental analysis is typically used by equity researchers to determine the intrinsic worth of a company's shares. A company's stock is overvalued if it trades above its inherent worth or fair value. Stocks are undervalued if they trade for less than their intrinsic value. The share price of the majority of companies, however, never corresponds with the fair value, if you pay close attention to the stock markets. Regardless of the companies' long-term growth prospects, day traders and other investors who favour short-term investment possibilities frequently invest in those equities. Long-term investors, however, typically favor to invest in businesses with strong fundamentals and disregard short-term share price fluctuations. A all type of current ratio, debt equity ratio, quick ratio, gross profit ratio etc.

The retail industry in India is thriving, and it is one of the country's three main economic drivers alongside agriculture and industry. India's retail industry alone is responsible for over 15% of the country's GDP, making the services sector the greatest contributor. One way of looking at retail is as the link between the producer and the one-to-one consumer market, where purchases are made for direct use. As India opened its doors to the global market, the makeup and nature of FDI have changed significantly. Foreign direct investment (FDI) is seen as a key factor in helping India's economy thrive. There is renewed optimism and high anticipation that the government's strategy of permitting Foreign Direct Investment in the multiband retail sector would act as a catalyst to support economic progress in our nation. This research aims to investigate and analyze the effects of FDI in retail on human capital and economic growth as a whole.

Abrasive Water Jet Machining (AWJM) is one of the recent Non-traditional manufacturing technologies in which mixture of high pressure water and Abrasive particle is used to remove the surplus material without any distortion and microstructure changes. In AWJM, major problem is to produce rough on the cutting-edge during machining on circular path. The main aim of this research is to cut disc brake of automobile vehicle using AWJM to optimize surface roughness and process parameters. In this study parametric study of traverse speed, nozzle diameters, abrasive mass flow rate, and stand of distance were carried out with disc brake of material SS420 with 4 mm thickness. Experiments are performed on Karolin Machine Tool (KMT) at Param Technocrafts and JRD Technocrafts with nozzle diameter 0.25mm, 0.30mm, 0.35mm. The surface roughness is measured by using SJ 210. Optimization of surface roughness is obtained through response surface methodology. Optimum value of surface roughness is 0.45-degree, 2.356 micron obtained for stainless steel 420 materials.

The paper is intended to study the perception of teachers and students towards effectiveness of online teaching and assessment during COVID-19 pandemic. Descriptive survey design has been used. The teachers and students of undergraduate and postgraduate level participated in the online survey. Total 200 teachers and students from three Colleges were selected as sample of the study. Self developed perception scales were administered. The collected data were analyzed through using t-test, ANOVA. The research findings revealed that there is no significant difference in perception towards effectiveness of online teaching and assessment in relation to gender and academic streams among students and teachers. Teachers and students have a favorable perception towards effectiveness of online teaching and assessment.

Education is very important, especially during uncertain times. The Indian government has created a new plan called the National Education Policy 2020 to improve the education system and make it better. The plan focuses on creating good quality universities and colleges that offer different kinds of education. In this paper, we have studied the plan and suggested some changes to make it even better. We also looked at how universities should follow this plan and made recommendations on how to improve the education system across the country.

As a result of their superior eco-friendliness over synthetic-fiber based polymer composites, products made from natural fiber reinforcement have become more popular in a wide range of applications. This paper describes the review of Mechanical Properties of Fiber Reinforced Composites. Renewable resources such as natural fibers have been continually replenished for thousands of years thanks to both nature and human innovation. As a bonus, they don't have any negative impact on the environment due to their carbon footprint. All of these fibers are biodegradable, inexpensive, low-impact, have high specific strength, are not abrasive, and can be replenished quickly. For these reasons, natural fibers have recently gained favor among scientists and researchers as a potential replacement for synthetic fibers in fiber-reinforced composites. This article acted as a survey of fibers and their uses throughout history.

When it comes to the South Asian economy, Thailand is a major player. Bangkok, the country's capital, is the country's social and economic centre. It piqued the interest of several foreign retailers, who subsequently set up shop in Thailand. Its retail sector is developing rapidly to accommodate the needs of internet-enabled shoppers with a wide range of preferences. As a result of the pandemic, the Thai economy as a whole and several economic sectors have suffered. The expansion of Thailand's consumer market has been propelled by the country's improving economic situation. Thailand's food retail industry is forecast to develop mildly to moderately, with online food retail witnessing significant growth despite the predicted contraction of 5-10% for the first quarter of 2020 due to the effect of the epidemic on the retail sector as a whole. While the retail industry as a whole in Thailand has been hit hard, convenience shops and online shopping have thrived despite the downturn. Grocery product sales via the internet distribution channel increased dramatically during the -triggered shutdown period in 2020. Rapid development in contemporary retail was seen in Bangkok and other highly urbanized cities as a result of rising tourism and a number of government initiatives, including the opening of the domestic market to international investors and the use of cutting-edge technology in the retail industry.
