The Bh?gavata Pur??a is the most famous among the Pur??as and its influence on the religion of the people is profound. The Bh?gavata Pur??a has been responsible for the rise of many sects of Vai??avas. Its influence has been phenomenal. Misings are one of the aboriginated tribes of the north eastern region of India and are primarily settled in the plains of Assam .The tribal community was earlier called as Miris and the constitution of India still refers to them as the Miris. Misings belong to the scheduled tribe community of Assam. Birth, marriage and death are the three pillars of human life and existence. Of these, marriage is a social convention. In the Indian context, marriage has a religious and cultural background associated with it. In missing language, the marriage is called Midang. Mising tribes also follow the system of monogamy (one wife one husband), but polygamy is also allowed. In this research, we shall try to focus on marriage system of Mising society based on the Bh?gavata Pur??a.

Abstract: Gender inequality is one of the most persistent challenges facing society around the world. Gender discrimination was prevalent in ancient Indian royal families where women were often considered inferior to men and had limited rights and opportunities. The study explores the various forms of gender inequality depicted in the novel Queen of Ice by the well-known Indian author and historian Devika Rangachari. This includes restriction of women's education and mobility, forced marriage and the Sati system, and the marginalization of women in political and economic spheres. The paper argues that the novel offers a nuanced and complex portrayal of gender inequality that highlights how individual agency and resistance can challenge and subvert oppressive social structures. The paper concludes by arguing that Queen of Ice offers an inspiring and powerful vision of women empowerment and resistance that can help to inform and inspire contemporary efforts to challenge and transform gender inequality.

The COVID-19 pandemic has catalyzed transformative shifts in human lifestyles, prompting a reevaluation of pre-existing norms across various domains. This study systematically analyzes the metamorphosis from pre-pandemic to post-pandemic lifestyles, assessing the impacts and adaptations that have ensued. The investigation examines work-life dynamics, social interactions, health priorities, digital reliance, and leisure pursuits. Pre-COVID, bustling offices and in-person interactions were customary, but the pandemic propelled remote work and virtual connections, redefining work-life boundaries and elucidating the intrinsic value of physical presence. Health priorities shifted, underscoring fitness and mental well-being. Digital platforms, crucial for remote work and virtual engagement, necessitated a delicate equilibrium between connectivity and authentic human interactions. While conventional leisure activities dwindled due to restrictions, an amplified appreciation for outdoor spaces emerged. In the synthesis of this analysis, the study advocates for integration of positive elements from both eras and confronts the challenges arising from the transformed lifestyle. It emphasizes holistic well-being, meaningful interpersonal bonds, and a harmonized work-life equation as pivotal considerations for a resilient post-pandemic future.

Human nature has been put under stress by surrogacy, which has been regarded as an ethical and emotional disaster. Only Israel and the United Kingdom openly permit surrogacy, while the majority of European nations prohibit it and many others do not practice it. It is more prevalent in the Western region of the United States of America. In commercial surrogacy, a woman consents to carry a child for commissioning parents or for one parent alone. Payment to the surrogate mother is part of the commercial surrogacy agreement. The amount paid exceeds the real costs. The surrogate mother just gets the costs of an altruistic surrogacy; she is not compensated financially. Surrogate motherhood is either genetic or gestational surrogacy. In genetic surrogacy, the surrogate mother--who is the child's genetic mother--is impregnated by the male member of the commissioning couple, typically through artificial insemination.

Abstract 'Kathak' dance performance is coupled with flow or gati in which movements (ang), rhythm (Lay & Taal), accompanying music and literature all contribute together to its whole effect. According to the shastras, gati and its variations depend upon the character situations, places, stages, facial expressions and gesticulations (anga-vikshep). All these are visible in Kathak dance as well. With this, Beautiful dance styles create from the mutual relations and uses of various 'Karanas' in Laya and Taal .Exhibition of 'Gati' is due to 'Laya' and 'sthiti' ( pause) because of the balanced serial order doctrine. Not only by one regular flow but also by controlled 'Visharam' (repose), 'Chalan' (moving/walking) and 'Shithi' (stability), 'Gati' is created or formed. It can be made out from the discussion that Gati exist directly or indirectly in Kathak dance repertoire.

Abstract The present study was undertaken to evaluate the cardioprotective effect of Ellagic acid (EA) against Lead (Pb) induced cardiotoxicity. In this model, Albino rats of either sex were divided in to four groups of six animals. Cardiotoxicity were induced in these rats (180-200 g) by administering lead (100mg/L) (as lead acetate, (Pb(CH3COO)2)) through drinking water from the first day of experimental method. Ellagic acid will be administered orally in the respective groups along with lead daily for 8 weeks. The influence of the treatment was analysed by quantification of antioxidants. Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Reduced Glutathione (GSH) and Catalase activities were significantly increased in heart tissue homogenate in all treated groups compared to Lead(Pb) group. Thus, investigational finding conclude that Ellagic acid possess potential benefits against cardiotoxicity induced by the most toxic heavy metal lead.

Moisturizers are one of the most widely used preparations in cosmetics and have been extensively used to soften the skin for consumers. Moisturizers work effectively in combating dry skin which may cause pain, tightness, itch, stinging, and/or tingling. The aim of this review is to evaluate published studies on the history, ingredients, preparation processes, characteristics, uses and applications of moisturizers. Moisturizers bridge the gap between medicine and consumer goods by being used to make the skin more beautiful and healthier. In the future, in moisturizer therapy, the capacity to adapt specific agents to specific dermatological demands will be crucial. Cosmetically, moisturizers make the skin smooth by the mechanism of increasing the water content in the stratum corneum, hence exerting its most vital action, which is moisturizing action and maintaining a normal skin pH.

This BCI systems are able to communicate directly between the brain and computer using neural activity measurements without the involvement of muscle movements. By measuring cerebral activity, brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) can establish direct communication between the brain and computer without requiring the use of muscles. They are very important for those with severe disabilities, but before they are widely used, we must investigate how well they function in long-term real-world settings. It's also critical to figure out realistic ways to share these technologies with others. Furthermore, it is important to enhance the performance robustness of BCI systems to a degree equivalent to that of naturally occurring muscle-based health monitoring. Ensuring BCI systems are as dependable as regularly monitoring your health through muscle movements is a major challenge. We shall review recent research in this paper.

A minors contract is void ab initio. Partnership arises out of contract and not by status as per section 5 of the partnership Act. The minor is incompetent to contract. However according to section 30, (I) of the Indian Partnership Act 1932, a minor can be admitted as a partner for the benefits of partnership with the consent of other partners. A minor is incapable of either making a contact himself, or authorizing the same, he cannot legally ratify act done on his behalf. A minor partner cannot be declared insolvent, but if the firm is declared insolvent his share in the firm vest in the official receiver or official assignee. When a minor is not given his due share of profit, he has a right to constitute a suit for his share of the profit or property of the firm. But he cannot do so, only if he wants to separate his connection with the firm. A minor partner has a right to his agreed share of the profit and of the property of the firm. A minor partner can also have access to inspect and copy of the accounts of the firm, but not books of the firm.
