Covid-19 is considered to be one of the biggest threats to people's lives. A worldwide lockdown was imposed, and it affected many important sectors, one of them being the entertainment and media industries. People were stuck in their houses and had nothing to do but enjoy the 'new normal'. They switched to Ott platforms for entertainment and from digital to print media. They also switched from hard copies of books to e-books. Because of this flare-up of COVID-19, the entertainment and media industry saw some positive effects but many negative ones. The authors have tried to portray these statistics through the collection and representation of data, and also state reasons for the same.

This research paper focuses on the fundamental ecological issues prevailing on the society and a need for ecological consciousness which is represented through the dystopian literature. Dystopian fiction raises the awareness and ecological consciousness in the readers by presenting the dangers and impediments which can occur in the near future due to the negligence of human actions towards ecology and also to the environmental well being. Dystopian literature portrays the serious environmental issues such as increase in global temperature, dangers of overuse of technology, harmful effects of radiation, pollution, water and food shortages, lack of organic agriculture, overpopulation, and extinction of wildlife species, deforestation and many other issues which could have a massive impact on the lives of both nature and human beings on earth. Many concepts and theories arose like ecocriticism to emphasis the harmony and relationship between human beings and nature. In turn human beings serves as a root cause for the imbalance in the ecosystem and the dystopian novels serves as tool to how humans should be responsible for their action of inaction towards the environment. Thus dystopian literature and writers aims to raise ecological consciousness by imagining the worst case scenarios where the prevailing anthropocentric and ecological unconsciousness could lead to the extinction of the human civilization in the near future.

Face recognition is one of the most useful technologies in Deep Learning which is a part of Machine Learning. The Haar- Cascade method is used to detect and recognize faces from images and videos by considering the features like size and shape of eyes, nose and mouth . The model captures live images , compares them to a database of pre-trained images , and upon a successful match logs the recognized persons details in Excel format . These details include the individual's name, id number , time and date of recognition . The admin has the authority to access these details and keeps track of who's around. So, in simple terms, face recognition systems are like super-smart detectives that help keep things safe by recognizing familiar faces

Over the past decade, immunooncology (IO) has been developed as a new and important approach to cancer therapy by stimulating the body's own immune system to kill cancer cells. This newly recognised method of cancer treatment is rapidly developing, and many approvals from the Food and Drug Administration of the United States and the European Medicines Agency will be accelerated in 2019. In particular, immune control point inhibitors have been remarkably successful in multiple malignancies and are the most established treatment class of immunooncology agents to date.

he prices of fossil fuels have been increasing, leading to a gap between power demand and supply. Energy consumption in residential areas is also increasing due to the use of appliances. The project aims to optimize power consumption by implementing a microgrid in a household. The microgrid will be more efficient and flexible than conventional grids and will involve customers in monitoring the smart grid. The project will focus on modeling and optimizing the microgrid, comparing tech- nologies and simulating different energy sources. The project will have societal impacts by reducing energy consumption, lowering electricity bills, and decreasing CO2 emissions. The importance of optimization and modeling in managing energy generation, transmission, distribution, and storage will be emphasized. The financial feasibility will also be considered.

India needs to increase elderly care and welfare due to its aging population. Assistive technology is essential for removing barriers and assisting older people with daily tasks. However, lack of user awareness is a major obstacle. Providing suitable living spaces, creating cozy attire, maintaining active networks, and involving elders in neighborhood activities are crucial. Opportunities for jobs and recreation also help maintain physical and mental fitness. Technology interventions in design, networking, recreation, and entertainment are essential. Public policy support, capacity building, and awareness campaigns are needed to effectively utilize technology in elderly care. The goal of the paper is to enhance the protection and well-being of India's aging population by examining the difficulties that older people encounter with regard to social isolation, healthcare, financial stability, and access to social services. The study examines how modern technology is changing the quality of life for seniors, with an emphasis on India. The research technique comprises a thorough examination of current technical advancements and their applications in elder care, as well as an assessment of the unique difficulties and limitations in the Indian setting. The findings highlight the immense potential of technology in addressing the complex needs of India's aging population, such as facilitating remote healthcare access, mitigating social isolation through online communities, enhancing financial inclusion, and ensuring legal protection through digital resources. The paper advocates for the proactive use of technology and policy initiatives to protect the rights of elderly citizens, emphasizing the need for public policy support, capacity building, and awareness campaigns to improve the quality of life for the elderly population in India.

Abstract The paper attempts to show the relationship between Dogra state, society and women development in educational development in Kashmir. It examines the states and societal responsibility of educating the Kashmiri women. The paper exposed and enquires into the stereotype of women apathy to modern education due to their traditional conservatism. It shows that relative deprivation of women in different opportunities led to their illiteracy. Kashmir which was under the autocratic rule of the Dogra Maharajas was the most backward among princely states and education was no exception. Initially the Dogra Rajas utterly ignored the education of women. The vacuum was filled by the Christian Missionaries. The paper will mainly focus on the educational policy and the attitude of the Dogra state towards the development of girl's education in Kashmir. The first part of the paper studies the state's role in the development of women education in Kashmir. Second part examines the attitude of the society and women towards modern education. The paper concludes with the dismal educational condition of Kashmir in general and women in particular, which can be said is the legacy it inherited from the Dogra state.
