Agriculture, crucial for human sustenance, faces the challenge of meeting the demands of a growing population. Historically, natural techniques, like utilizing cow dung as fertilizer, boosted productivity. However, modern farming, driven by the need for higher yields, resorts to fertilizers, posing risks to soil and the environment. In response, innovative strategies have been employed to minimize herbicide application. Precision herbicide spraying now targets specific areas with weed infestation, optimizing usage and mitigating environmental impact.

This study examined the influence of plant-based satvik (no onion/garlic) and vegetarian diets on mindfulness capacities among adults practicing three meditation styles - Rajyoga, Ruhani Satsang, and Vipassana. A sample of 600 participants filled out the 15-item Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ-15) assessing skills in observing, describing, acting with awareness, non-judging, and non-reactivity to inner experiences. Results of two-way ANOVA tests showed higher total mindfulness and non-judging scores in Satvik versus Vegetarian practitioners regardless of meditation style. Significant diet-by-meditation interactions were also noted, with Ruhani Satsang practitioners specifically exhibiting heightened describing and acting with awareness facets when following satvik diets. Findings support synergistic effects between nutrition and mindfulness practice, with removal of excitatory foods potentially enabling calmer, more attentive cognitive states conducive to meditation. Tailored integration of lifestyle modalities could inform multimodal behavioral therapies targeting holistic wellbeing.

The year 2020 has been reframed for all the commercial working sectors of Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, Information Technology, and others due to the widespread harm of COVID-19. The education sector has also been stirred in terms of teaching-learning practices, assessment, and evaluation aspects. Many traditional pedagogies have been altered. Teaching-learning processes have been made malleable keeping in mind the students' convenience. It requires the physical presence of both teacher and student, with some elements of student control over time, place, path, or pace. While students still attend "brick-and-mortar schools with a teacher present, face-to-face classroom practices are combined with computer-mediated activities regarding content and delivery. Blended learning has been found an effective approach to delivering the best teaching practices and utilizing the maximum potential of students. It is an innovative approach that embraces the advantages of both traditional classroom teaching and ICT-supported learning including online and offline learning. This paper aims to explore the possibilities of effective implementation of blended learning in college education. This paper focuses on a survey conducted among 54 teachers of English teaching at the college level in Gujarat. The survey was conducted to construct a data-based scenario on English teachers' attitudes, observations, experiments, and experiences regarding the blended mode of teaching and learning approach. Later, the data was analyzed and interpreted to develop better insights, which ultimately helped make appropriate generalizations. At last, the paper enlists major findings and recommendations for improvement of the current scenario.

Marine sponges have been considered as a drug treasure house with respect to great potential regarding their secondary metabolites. Most of the studies have been conducted on sponge's derived compounds to examine its pharmacological properties. Such compounds proved to have antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antimalarial, antitumor, immunosuppressive, and cardiovascular activity. Although, the mode of action of many compounds by which they interfere with human pathogenesis have not been clear till now, in this review not only the capability of the medicinal substances have been examined in vitro and in vivo against serious pathogenic microbes but, the mode of actions of medicinal compounds were explained with diagrammatic illustrations. This knowledge is one of the basic components to be known especially for transforming medicinal molecules to medicines. Sponges produce a different kind of chemical substances with numerous carbon skeletons, which have been found to be the main component interfering with human pathogenesis at different sites. The fact that different diseases have the capability to fight at different sites inside the body can increase the chances to produce targeted medicines.

This paper outlines the design and practical implementation of a simple dynamic dual-axis solar tracker (DAST) that uses fewer segments and is less expensive to track the sun's evolution. A dual-axis device is designed to tilt the PV board using a servo motor and rotates with a mechanical motor in response to the strongest daylight detected by light-dependent resistor sensors fixed along the frame's four edges. To determine its effectiveness, the DAST model was essentially developed and tested using a real-time virtual instrument that was dependent on Dominate. Additionally, a correlation based on trial results between the energy produced by the clever DAST and a fixed board reveals that the former generates 36.26% more energy than the latter. It is easy to implement the suggested dynamic DAST without having extensive knowledge of sun-oriented electronic design and sun-oriented following innovations.

Metal compounds that are carcinogenic and harm human health through occupational and environmental exposure include arsenic, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, lead, mercury, and nickel. However, the fundamental processes leading to tumor development remain poorly understood. Oxidative stress, which is a discrepancy between the system's capacity to quickly detoxify reactive intermediates and the rate at which free radicals are produced, may be caused by interference with metal homeostasis. As a result, this incident results in protein modification, lipid peroxidation, DNA damage, and maybe symptoms of numerous diseases, including cancer. Numerous molecular markers and common mechanisms of action are included in this overview. Free radicals produced by metals, oxidative stress, protein, lipid, and DNA damage, responsive signal transduction pathways important for cell growth and development, and the functions of antioxidant enzymes and DNA repair systems are all discussed. It is also discussed how certain regulatory factors, such as AP-1, NF-B, Ref-1, and p53, interact with non-enzymatic antioxidants, such as carotenoids, flavonoids, glutathione, selenium, vitamin C, and vitamin E. Cellular oxidative stress markers, such as catalase, glutathione peroxidase, and superoxide dismutase, are also discussed. Oncogenic stimulation is associated with dysregulation of defensive mechanisms, including the cellular antioxidant network against free radicals and a deficit in DNA repair. These findings support the hypothesis that DNA repair proteins and newly developing regulatory factors responsive to oxidative stress serve as possible predictors of tumor initiation and progression.

Financial literacy is a multifaceted concept and is considered to be one of the most researched areas and also a crucial component which envisages financial inclusion. It encompasses across all the levels of societies and economic strata. The lack of understanding the concept of financial literacy would result in poor investment decision making. Therefore, financial literacy acts as a catalyst which can improve the quality of life, as it boosts the savings and investment decision taken by individuals to ensure a safe and secured future. The paper is an attempt to methodically use a case study approach of women in Sadalga Taluka, Chikkodi" in order to understand the in-depth concept of financial literacy and its impact on investment decision making. The objective of the study is to closely examine the literacy levels of women using 4 demographic factors namely age, income, occupation and education level and also assess the components like Financial Awareness and Knowledge of Financial Products, Attitudes towards Savings and Investments, behaviour towards Savings & Investments and Financial Motivation were analysed in the research. It also encompasses the analysis of the influence of 4/2 demographic factors that impact the savings and investment decisions. The primary data for the study has been collected by developing a questionnaire as a survey tool consisting of 34 questions through convenience sampling technique and also conducted a face-to-face interview method. The four components namely, 129 women respondents belonging to varied economic, social and financial background residing in Sadalga village in Chikkodi. The data has been analysed using frequencies, percentages and cross tabulation. The findings of the study reveal that; although women having a reasonable income-generating employment backed up by their family bread-winners, they possess lesser financial knowledge. Majority of women (66%) respondents are well educated and belonged to the "others" (other than agriculture) category of occupation. They are presumed to be occupants of agriculture or running their family-owned businesses. It points to the understanding that the respondents with higher income levels have not sensed the need for financial literacy and knowledge on avenues of investment. The women who hold an above the average annual income are more motivated to invest in good investment avenues and are more inclined to make informed decisions for future. From the survey conducted and the interview, it was observed that a minimum percentage of women (32%) had lower level of financial literacy, and such individual women preferred gold investment as a conservational investment option.
