Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) have emerged as promising carriers for ocular drug delivery systems due to their unique characteristics. These nanoparticles are composed of biocompatible lipids, providing a stable matrix for drug encapsulation. The solid nature of SLNs offers improved physical stability, preventing drug leakage and degradation during storage. The small particle size of SLNs facilitates efficient penetration through ocular barriers, enhancing drug bioavailability within the eye. Moreover, SLNs can be surface-modified to control drug release rates and improve targeting specificity. In the context of ocular drug delivery, SLNs offer advantages such as reduced systemic side effects and prolonged drug retention in the eye, leading to enhanced therapeutic outcomes. The biodegradable nature of lipid-based carriers further contributes to their safety profile. Overall, solid lipid nanoparticles represent a promising platform for the development of effective and safe ocular drug delivery systems, addressing the challenges associated with conventional formulations and improving patient compliance

Honey bee is vital for pollination and ecological services, boosting crops productivity in terms of quality and quantity and production of colony products: wax, royal jelly, bee venom, honey, pollen and propolis. Honey bees are most important plant pollinators and almost one third of diet depends on bee's pollination, worth billions of dollars. Hence the role that honey bees have in environment and their economic importance in food production, their health is of dominant significance. Honey bees can be infected by various pathogens like: viruses, bacteria, fungi, or infested by parasitic mites. At least more than 20 viruses have been identified to infect honey bees worldwide, generally from Dicistroviridae as well as Iflaviridae families, like Acute Bee Paralysis Virus, Black Queen Cell Virus,Kashmir Bee Virus, Sacbrood Virus, Chronic bee paralysis virus, Slow Bee Paralysis Virus along with Israeli acute paralysis virus, and Deformed Wing Virus are prominent and cause infections harmful for honey bee colonies health.

One of the main causes of cancer-related mortality is lung cancer, which presents a serious healthcare issue. To address this issue, deep learning and AI technologies are being leveraged to enhance early detection and diagnosis. These innovative approaches analyze medical imaging data, such as CT scans, to improve accuracy and enable timely interventions, ultimately contributing to more effective and personalized treatments for lung cancer patients. Deep learning methodologies have been integrated to ascertain the presence of lung cancer in individuals by deriving relevant characteristics from CT-Scan images sourced from a data repository. These predictive systems not only identify lung cancer but also facilitate the analysis of inherent behavioral patterns within the images, offering additional insights. This study looks into how machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and artificial intelligence (AI) can improve lung cancer diagnosis, particularly through the analysis of medical imaging data, such as CT scans and by doing so focuses on a method for more precise early detection for lung cancer. In doing so this research paper proposes a novel algorithm, the Hybrid Deep Neural Network-Convolutional Neural Network (hDCN). Evaluation through standard statistical techniques reveals an accuracy rate of 69.024% and an impressive precision of 94%, highlighting the hDCN algorithm's potential in transforming early detection strategies for lung cancer.

Childhood cancer accounts for less than 2% of all cancers diagnosed each year. About 12-14,000 children will be diagnosed in a given year with any type of cancer. Over the past fifty years, treatments and cure rates have improved from 10-20% five-year survival rates to between 80-85% five-year survival rates. Psychosocial support of children with cancer and their families has grown and has been more fully integrated into paediatric care over the past five decades. Psychosocial oncology, a relatively new discipline, is a multidisciplinary application of the behavioural and social sciences, and paediatric psychosocial oncology is an emerging subspecialty within the domain of psychosocial oncology. This review presents a brief overview of some of the major clinical issues surrounding paediatric psychosocial oncology. Children's cancers are not always treated like adult cancers. It's important to know that this expertise exists and that there are effective treatments for many childhood cancers. Adjusting to a child's cancer diagnosis and finding ways to stay strong is challenging for everyone in a family.

The current study has been undertaken to assess knowledge score regarding Safety precautions for elderly peoples among young adults by awareness package in selected rural area. The research design used for study was pre- experimental in nature. The tool for study was self-structured knowledge questionnaire which consists of 2 parts-PART- I consisted questions related to Socio-demographic data; PART-II consisted of self -structured knowledge questionnaire to assess knowledge score regarding Safety precautions for elderly peoples among young adults. The data was analyzed by using descriptive & inferential statistical methods. The most significant finding was that 29.4% of young adults were having average knowledge regarding Safety precautions for elderly peoples whereas 70.6% had fair knowledge after post-test. It was suggested that nurses must educate young adults regarding Safety precautions for elderly peoples.

This paper investigates the performance of the lap length of CFRP sheets in strengthened RC beams to predict the ultimate load and deflection. A nonlinear 3D finite element model (FEM) subjected to a single point load is developed using ABAQUS. The behaviour of beams is described by evaluating their respective material models. The concrete-CFRP interface is represented by a cohesive zone model and the CFRP is modelled using a linear elastic isotropic model. Lap splicing of CFRP sheets is usually adopted for the transition of forces. Here, the CFRP is lapped for the length of 25mm, 50mm, and 75mm at mid-span and 1/3rd span of the beam. The numerical analysis aligns well with experimental findings in terms of load-deflection response when employing the cohesive bond model. The effect of the variation in the grade of concrete and the depth of the beam is also taken into account. It is observed that 50mm lap length sustains higher load-carrying capacity for the variation in the grade of concrete and depth of the beam. A 50mm lap length is found to be optimum.

Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) has become increasingly popular in the construction industry due to its sustainable and cost-effective characteristics, serving as a viable alternative to traditional building materials. Optimizing the profile of CFS sections has proven effective in enhancing the structural efficiency of members by mitigating buckling instabilities that could lead to premature failure. A great example of such optimization is found in the CFS sigma section, which differs from the conventional lipped C-section by incorporating a web-stiffening feature to enhance resistance to both local and distortional buckling. This experimental investigation delves into the behavior of CFS sigma beams under eccentric loading, a condition that induces combined bending and torsional moments. The research seeks to interpret prevalent failure modes in these beams and assess the impact of modifying geometric parameters on their load-bearing capacity. A carefully designed test setup was employed to ensure compliance with prescribed loading and boundary conditions. Concurrently, numerical models were developed using Abaqus Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to simulate the behavior of the tested beams. These models were calibrated against the experimental results, enabling the generation of load-displacement curves to offer deeper insights into the research findings.

Sericulture in India is as old as Indian culture itself. India has emerged as a prominent sericulture practising country in the world landscape. The silkworms' healthy and vigorous growth is dependent on the quality of the mulberry leaf. Diseases are a key limiting issue in Mulberry farming, with Cercosporamoricola Cooke, the incitant of leaf spot, being one among them, inflicting significant harm to leaf yield while also affecting silkworm health. When four plant extracts and three plant oils were tested against the pathogen, Eucalyptus globules at 10% (72.59%) and Madhucaindica oil (3%) shown the greatest inhibition. Among the many fungal biocontrol agents tested against the disease, Trichodermaviride (80.55 percent) inhibited mycelial growth much more than the control.
