Background: More than 1/3rd of older adults fall each year and 10-20% of falls cause serious injuries. Vast majority of these falls (>99.9%) are unintentional. This research is focused to identify prevalence of the risk of fall among elderly and associated factors were assessed in the present study. We are going assess the risk of falls and associated factors among elderly. Methods: A descriptive study conducted in community area by Department of Nursing School of Health Sciences, RIMT University among people of age >60 years during August 2023. A sample size of 100 is obtained by standardized fall risk assessment tool in community setup for assessing incidence of fall risk among elderly people. Results: The majority of elderly people i.e. 41.0% had moderate concern, 33% had low concern and 26.0% had high concern of fall risk among elderly people. The result showed that 32% of the elderly people were in the age group of 60- 65 years, 30% were in the age group of 66-71 years, 24% were in the age group of 72-77 years and 14 % were in the age of above 78 years. Majority i.e.59 % were males and 41% were the female. Maximum i.e. 45% were 10th passed, 33% were 5th passed, 12% were the 8th passed and rest of 10% were the graduated or above. 36% were working part time job, 27% were the full time job, 34% were not working and 3% were on the temporary job. Majority of elderly people 47% lived in nuclear family, 35% lived in the joint family, 15% lived single and least of elderly people i.e. 3% living with care taker. Conclusions: From the findings, present study concluded that 41.0% elderly people had moderate concern of fall risk out of 100. There was no significant association of fall risk with gender, educational status, type of family. Moreover, there was a significant association of fall risk with age and work status at p-value<0.05.

People from various psychological and cultural backgrounds began communicating more directly with one another as social networks and microblogging websites grew quickly. This led to an increase in "cyber" conflicts between these individuals. As a result, hate speech is used more and more, to the point where it is starting to seriously affect these public areas. The term "hate speech" describes the use of harsh, violent, or offensive language directed towards a particular group of people who have something in common, such as their gender (sexism), race or ethnicity (racism), belief and religion, etc. Although the majority of online social networks and microblogging platforms prohibit the use of hate speech, dur to their massive scale, it is nearly impossible to master all of their material. As a result, it becomes necessary to automatically gathered from the foundation of the methodology. A machine learning algorithm is later trained using these patterns and unigrams among other features. Our tests on a test set of 2,010- tweets demonstrate that our method achieves an accuracy of 87.4 classification and 78.4 classification respectively.

An image can be defined as a matrix of square pixels arranged in rows and columns. Image processing is a leading technology which enhances raw images received from gadgets such as camera or a mobile phone in normal day-to-day life for various applications. An image to text and speech conversion system can be useful for blind as well as physically challenging people to understand the scenario from the images. Core idea for image to text and speech conversion is to overcome the challenges faced by a blind person in real life. The techniques of image segmentation and edge detection play an important role in implementing this system. We formulate the interaction between image segmentation and object recognition in the framework of Canny algorithm. The system goes through various phases such as pre-processing, feature extraction, object recognition, edge detection, image segmentation and text-tospeech (TTS) conversion. The database of this system consists of huge set of sample images which help to identify similar kind of objects in every different image. The system mainly consists of two main modules such as image-to-text and text-to-speech. An image-to-text module generates text descriptions in natural language based on understanding of image while text-to-speech module converts natural language into speech synthesis.

Abstract: This research paper delves into the intricate language experiences encountered by migrant populations, emphasizing the multifaceted challenges of language barriers, adaptive strategies, and the preservation of heritage languages. As globalization continues to facilitate increased migration, the linguistic dynamics within migrant communities become pivotal aspects of their integration and cultural identity. The primary focus lies in dissecting the obstacles presented by language barriers that hinder effective communication and societal participation. This investigation encompasses an exploration of the psychological and socio-cultural impacts of such barriers on migrants, examining the struggles they face in accessing education, employment, healthcare, and social integration due to linguistic disparities. Furthermore, the study investigates adaptive mechanisms employed by migrant populations to navigate these linguistic challenges. It delves into the strategies individuals and communities adopt to learn the dominant language of the host country, analysing factors such as language learning methods, acculturation processes, and the role of social networks in facilitating linguistic adaptation. A crucial aspect of this research involves examining the preservation and maintenance of heritage languages among migrant communities. It scrutinizes the significance of heritage languages as a means of cultural preservation and identity maintenance, exploring the factors influencing language retention, language shift, and the intergenerational transmission of languages within migrant families. Employing a mixed-methods approach encompassing qualitative interviews, surveys, and linguistic analysis, this study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the intricate linguistic experiences of migrant populations. The findings aim to shed light on effective policies and interventions that can support language diversity, facilitate smoother integration, and foster inclusive societies for migrant communities in diverse socio-cultural contexts.

Abstract: "Illegal Migrants" the term is used as a code to mean 'Bangladeshi' in Assam and the words are used interchangeably. The influx of illegal migrants from Bangladesh into Assam is so high that changes demographic pattern of the State, which threatens to reduce the Assamese people to a minority in our own State, as happened in Tripura and Sikkim. Illegal migration from Bangladesh into Assam should be viewed against the backdrop of past history, present realities and future designs. Migration into Assam has been taking place from the dawn of history. Numbers of causes are there which are responsible for the migration of Assam. In this paper an attempt has been made to examine various aspects of illegal migration into Assam from various countries especially from Bangladesh. In this study we find that mainly environmental crisis caused by population pressure in Bangladesh and relatively greater economic opportunities in terms of higher lifetime income, acquisition of land and assets in Assam, have been the primary motivations behind large scale migration. There are some beneficial effects, such as the immigrants have contributed to the rise of agricultural productivity by introducing better techniques, crop diversity, and multiple cropping and also the immigrants causes the supply of cheap labor in the informal labor market have benefitted the consumers and producers alike. However, they have put tremendous pressure on land, creating socio-political and environmental problems that have indirect adverse effects on the economy. Finally, the immigrants hardly contribute to the government revenue while the government spends a substantial amount to maintain this significantly large fraction of the population.

The Indian textile industry stands out on a global scale due to its abundant raw material resources and extensive manufacturing capabilities. Apart from being a cornerstone of the economy, the textile sector, in conjunction with other major industries, makes noteworthy contributions. Notably, the exports of textiles and apparel alone constitute approximately 27% of the nation's total foreign exchange earnings. This study focuses on the socio-economic status of textile employees with the overarching objectives of identifying measures to improve health and productivity, ultimately contributing to increased job satisfaction. The research emphasizes the critical need for proactive interventions to enhance the overall well-being of workers in the textile industry. The findings highlight the significance of adopting a holistic approach that addresses both physical and mental health aspects. Key measures include the implementation of wellness programs, ergonomic improvements, and health education initiatives, which emerged as crucial factors in fostering a healthier work environment. Prioritizing employee health not only leads to a reduction in absenteeism and healthcare costs but also contributes to cultivating a positive organizational culture.
