The main purpose of the research is to examine in detail postmodern traits with specific reference to the Indian diaspora in the fictional works of Amitav Ghosh. The novels like The Calcutta Chromosome, The Glass Palace, The Hungry Tide, Sea of Poppies, and River of Smoke of Amitav Ghosh have been particularly considered for this review. These novels are the flawless sustenance for the postmodern characters and the behavior of diaspora written by Amitav Ghosh. In these novels, Ghosh has occupied constantly in the risk of putting otherwise individual back in the middle of the narrative and saving from getting lost in the hegemonic representation of the nation. Especially worried with the South Asian diaspora in the various regions of the world, the novels are endeavoured narrations of anti-Hegelian history of the world, including the hitherto left-out narratives of the familiar individual the dilemma against the historical backdrop, this endeavour is to oppose the control of the nation through own experiences, the story and search for own identity.

Cardiac disease is one of the loading causes of death worldwide. One of the effective ways to diagnose heart disease is ECG. Electrocardiogram(ECG) is the measure of hearts electrical activity and analysis of ECG signal is of very high importance in detection of cardiac abnormalities. Hybrid adaptive filtering is a combination of a band-pass butter worth filter and an adaptive spectral filter. Apart from filtering the raw ECG signal, the proposed system processed the filtered ECG signal to extract P,Q,R,S,T peaks from the ECG signal. Also, the system computes heartbeat based on R-Peak e repetition. The comprehensive system that has been proposed allows to export the proposed ECG signal with P,Q,R,S,T markings in an image that can be sent via E-mail or other detail mediums over internet to health care professionals. Also, the system allows modulation of exported ECG image into a voice signal that can be transmitted over GSM / PSTN channel, so that processed ECG signal can be transmitted over mobile/landline phone(s) where internet is not available.

Abstract Objective: This quantitative study described psycho social wellbeing in the midlife mothers of children with multiple disabilities. Method: Data was collected using interview schedules with 60 midlife women. Results: There is no difference between the socio demographic characters of respondents and psychosocial wellbeing. Discussion: This study concludes that disability throws a devastating impact when the midlife mothers face psychosocial problems, because they are the primary care givers. A problem affecting the mothers can affect the whole family. The mothers have to handle lots of task such as household works, looking after the family, going for job despite their multitasking ability. So, it might become difficult to handle certain situations in their life.

Abstract: Organic agriculture in developing countries has increased in past decades especially due to the high demand of or- ganic products in developed countries. This article attempts to present motivational factors influencing the farmers in the conversion to organic tea farming using both primary and secondary sources, for information through interviews with 196 tea farmers in Jitpur and Mangalbare area of Ilam district as well as tea consultants and promoters in this district as a case study. All of farmers have converted their tea farms into organic production for the last five years. It was found that there were different influencing factors for the conversion of their firms into organic tea cultivation. Which include environmental awareness; bright market prospects, economic benefit, health consciousness and sustainability so, while planning programs for the development of the organic tea production in Nepal, policy makers should consider the support of farmers' institutions, provision of training to farmers and raise farmers' awareness about the environmental, economic and health benefits of organic farming.

Economic development and quality of life Economic science alone will not provide satisfactory answers to the problems posed by environmental economics. The economist can no longer ignore the ecological consequences of a certain type of economic development, and the ecologist will not ignore the economic and social problems posed by the application of an effective environmental policy. The idea of human progress should no longer be confused with the concept of economic growth. To do this, it will be necessary to re-examine the complex and delicate relationships between man and his environment so that man can move towards a type of development which is not detrimental to his environment. The essential balances of matter and energy flows in natural and man-made ecosystems must be restored or preserved. We must acquire a better knowledge of the effects of human activities on the different ecosystems, and, consequently, intensify research of an interdisciplinary nature. In addition, growth and development models need to be reconsidered. In the case of the environment, as in that of development, it is now necessary to distinguish between the essential and the superfluous. This is an additional reason for advocating a holistic approach to environmental problems.

A triorganotin (IV) complex [R3SnL: R=Ph] has been synthesized by the reaction of triphenyltin (IV) chloride with biological potent imidazol base ligand 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-4, 5-diphenyl imidazole (HL) derived from benzil, salicyladehyde and ammonium acetate. The geometry of the complex has been proposed on the basis of elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques (IR, 1H NMR, UV and Mass spectra). On the basis of these studies it revealed that Imidazol ligand act as N/O donor system and coordinated to tin atom in bidentate fashion with trigonal pyramidal geometry around Tin atom. To compare the biopotency of the complex, Imidazol ligand and its complex were also tested for antimicrobial evaluation against bacteria and fungi. The activity data show that the metal complex is found to be more potent biocides than the parent ligand.

India is the second-largest in population and many crops Indian farmers can cultivate and Most of the farmers cultivate cotton in large numbers but the cotton leaf disease is the major problem in the past few decades and that results in a loss of crops, their productivity and money as well. The Cotton leaves are affected by the disease named Cercospora, Bacterial blight, Ascochyta blight, and Target spot. General observation by farmers may be time-consuming, expensive and sometimes inaccurate. The Cotton leaf Disease Detection and identifying the disease at an early stage is a very difficult task for the farmers. If the infection or disease on the crops was not identified by the farmers at the initial level then it will be harmful to the crops as well as for farmers

In this paper, we have seen that now days Construction industry is always trying to find new, better and economical material to manufacture new product, which is very beneficial to the industry. Today a significant growth is observed in the manufacture of composite material. With this energy conservation, corrosion risk, sustainability is important when a product is changed or new product is manufactures. Glass fibre (GF) is one of the high performance non-metallic fibres made by fusing (co-melting) silica with minerals. Glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC) offers more characteristics such as light weight, good fire resistance and strength. In future it is very beneficial for construction industry. Many applications of glass fibre are residential, industrial, highway and bridges etc. Most of the studies preferred parameters like addition of glass fibres into the concrete with various proportions represented the positive as well as negative improvements in mechanical properties of concrete. However, the researchers could not exhibit the improvement in properties like compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, flexural strength, tensile strength, toughness, early age cracking etc. Even though these properties are important for desired quality of concrete, to overcome this, use of optimum percentage glass fibres in concrete. In present work different percentages of glass fibres were added for M-30 grade of concrete. The experimental study were carried out by casting the cubes in different proportions of glass fibres and glass fibre mesh and the results were obtained to find out optimum percentage of glass fibres. The glass fibres were added into the concrete in proportion of 0, 0.5 %, 1.0 % and 1.5 % by volume at an increment of 0.5 %. A comparative study of various experimental results was carried out.
