 Abstract

Abstract- The purpose of this study was to describe the management and identify the challenges of the nursing departments of the two universities in Guangxi Province, China brought about by covid-19 pandemic. In describing the management of the Nursing Department, the following components were considered such as planning and decision making, organizing, leading and controlling. After identifying their management practices in the department before and during the pandemic and the challenges they encountered during the pandemic, the respondents were also asked how they deal or manage the challenges. From such, a management plan for the department was proposed. The study used the descriptive method wherein a questionnaire served as its instrument in gathering pertinent data. From the study, it was found out that before the pandemic, the management practices of the administrators in the Nursing Department of the two schools were mostly very satisfactory along planning and decision making, organizing, and leading except on controlling. But some of these management practices became declined and became satisfactory only during the pandemic like in planning and decision making and controlling. The pandemic has changed the original plan of the school, and brought many challenges to the school management, such as the delay of school start time, the students cannot return to school, the psychological pressure of teachers and students, the implementation conditions of online courses, etc. In order to ensure the safety of teachers and students, the school has made great adjustments in the management, increasing the investment in epidemic prevention, improving the internet security ability, strengthening the campus management and other measures. In order to implement the normal operation of the campus under the new normal. At present, all over the world are also facing a strong risk of epidemic spread. In the process of coping with the pandemic, schools constantly explore new practices and experiences. Therefore, this study aims to explore a set of relatively perfect and referential campus management response plan based on the challenges faced by the nursing departments of two universities in Guangxi, China.  Abstract

Stock market prediction has always been pivotal and critical task since years, due to vigorous fluctuations in stock values. It helps in determining future stock value for investors, buyers and sellers in commercial market. Looking towards today�s world economy, prediction of stock market has become much more important factor .More accurate and efficient predictions may yield significant profits, stabilize world�s financial condition to some extent. For this we need to build a model for basic stock market on basis of machine learning algorithms and sentiment analysis. We have surveyed eight papers and studied them thoroughly and understood that stock market values can be predicted upto great extent using machine learning by its various algorithms and through sentiment analysis we may get clear idea about whether stock market prices will be high or low. So, in this paper we have use certain machine learning algorithms and sentiment analysis on data retrieved from social media, financial news, historical stock prices and blogs to predict stock market values.

 Abstract

Social enterprise is an emerging concept which blurred boundaries that demarcate the for-profit and nonprofit sectors by combining social mission and profit-making objectives. In Ethiopia, social enterprise assumes legal forms and subject to a legal regime designed for conventional business and charity. Though it is a growing sector, social enterprise has been facing many challenges that hinder its growth and reduce its social impact. The purpose of this paper is to explore challenges facing social enterprises and offers a set of recommendations to address it. As the finding has revealed, the challenges facing social enterprises are broadly legal and institutional, socio-cultural, and finance and support related challenges. The legal and institutional challenges follow from the inadequacy of the existing legal regime of conventional charity and business to address the special regulatory concerns of social enterprises. Challenges relating to a dearth in the existing legal regimes include the absence of a system of recognition and regulation, lack of clarity of concepts (social enterprise and its social purpose and activity), unsuitability of legal forms, prioritizing diverge missions and interests, absence of social impact reporting and measurement, governance and regulator, and determination of the amount of profit distributed to shareholders and reinvested for a social purpose. The socio-cultural challenges facing the social enterprise is mainly associated with lack of social enterprise and social entrepreneurship in education curriculum, low awareness about social enterprises, lack of real motive of entrepreneurs to create positive social change, stiff market competition, and absence of partnership among actors. The other challenges facing social enterprises are access to finance (equity, grant, debt), land, and support. The degree of these challenges pose is different for for-profit and nonprofit social enterprises. To address challenging facing social enterprise and scale up their social impact the researcher called for the adoption of collaborative approaches by stakeholders.

 Abstract

Introduction Cancer is a disease in which abnormal cells divide In an uncontrolled way. Cervical cancer starts in the cells lining the cervix ( the lower part of the uterus) .Cancer of the cervix is an increasing health problem and an important cause of mortality in women worldwide. Early cervical epithelial changes can be identified by a Pap smear test. Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally after cardiovascular diseases . Globally , Approximately 570?000 cases of cervical cancer and 311?000 deaths from the disease occurred in 2018. According to the World Cancer statistics, >80% of all the cervical cancer cases are found in developing ( like india ) and low-resource countries, because of a lack of awareness and difficulty in running cytology-based screening programs. Objectives To Assess the knowledge on cervical cancer and pap smear among women in Kondavalasa village by pre test .To Evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme regarding knowledge on cervical cancer and pap smear among women. To Find out the association between pre test knowledge scores on cervical cancer and pap smear among women with their selected demographic variables. Methodology One group pre-test and post-test design was used to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding pap smear among women at kondavalasa village , Srikakulam (district) �.A total of 50 rural women were selected by Non- probability convenient sampling technique .Tool used for conducting study was structured questionnaire on cervical cancer and checklist on pap smear .Results In pre-test out of 50 rural women 43(86%) had inadequate knowledge regarding pap smear whereas 6(12%) had moderately adequate knowledge and only 1(2%) had adequate knowledge. In post-test 9(18%) had moderately adequate knowledge, 41(82%) had adequate knowledge after structured teaching programme. Conclusion The present study revealed that rural women have inadequate knowledge regarding pap smear in prevention of cervical cancer and after structured teaching programme knowledge have improved among rural women .So, there is a need to educate the rural women to increase awareness about pap smear in order to prevent the cervical cancer .

 Abstract

The relative density of the pure components(n-hexane), Palm oil & mixtures containing two components (binary mixtures) of Palm oil with n-hexane were measured at temperatures 298.15, mole fractions from 0.1 to 0.9. Relative Densities were determined using Specific gravity bottle.By using experimental densities excess molar volumes of binary mixtures were determined. The calculated values of excess molar volumes were interlinked with Redlich- Kister polynomial expansions.The values of the molar excess volumes suggest that interactions between the two liquids get stronger up to certain mole fraction & then get weaker afterward.

 Abstract

Abstract- This research described and identified the leadership skills and motivation of college students of Guilin City, China. It correlated the students� demographic profile, leadership skills, and leadership motivations. It also tackled about the leadership barriers among student leaders that led to the construction of the study�s leadership development plan. This study utilized a descriptive correlational method wherein it involved 377 college students who served as the research-participants. A questionnaire was used as its research instrument. It was found out in the study that majority of college student- leaders were female and that these student leaders are empowered in Student Union Departments; college student leaders are good conversationalist and have sense of direction when speaking; students vie for student leadership positions to improve their social and interpersonal skills and at the same time to contribute in their academics; and students are hindered to run for leadership positions because of lack of information about the organization, distance of home to school, burden of taking all the tasks and lack of encouragement from the family. In light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommends to provide more opportunities for younger student leaders to exercise responsibility and leadership; gradual transition between the younger and seniors in terms of workload and responsibility; provide more leadership opportunities with gradual responsibility increase over the years; include receiving more encouragement and recognition from teachers and students alike; consideration from the teachers on the frequency of extra duties and responsibilities; regular student leadership training; and weekly consultation hours from the adviser.  Abstract

National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) was launched in September - 2005. This scheme is initiated with an objective to attack on poverty through solving the problem of unemployment with the creation of social assets. The prime objective of this scheme is to create community assets through employment generation. At least one adult family members of poverty section of the society are empowered through providing 100 days employment for enhancing their income and making them able to buy their needs and necessity on their own efforts. Provisions for providing employment at door step are made. Such provisions, not only in fuels the process of social empowerment through creation of community assets but encourages the ability as well as efficiency of rural families As far as the achievement of NAREGA is concerned it has widely been accepted that it is the most active, efficient and effective scheme launched during planning era to fight against rural unemployment on the one hand and on the other hand produce community assets. The achievement of such scheme is not only satisfactory but efficiently safeguarding the interest of the rural communities by pulling up them above the poverty line. The creation of social assets is the special essence of this scheme. To insure the easy understanding of the discussion made in the main body of this paper, whole discussion are classified in to following sections- Section � 1st provides introductory note on the topic, Section � 2nd analysis the basic needs and necessity of NAREGA, Section � 3rd highlights the review of literature , Section � 4th gives information about the problem of unemployment and poverty and its remedy in NAREGA, Section � 5th discusses the need and necessity of community assets, Section � 6th narrates the methodology undertaken and Section � 7th describing the primary data collected for testing the hypothesis undertaken and Section � 8th prescribes suggestions with concluding remarks. It could be said that NAREGA is one of scheme of poverty alleviation through the creation of community assets.
