Turkey is considered as one of important Islamic country that tried to apply e-government. Turkey has made a considerable progress in a very short time, where during one year (from 2006 to 2007) it moved from rank 27th to rank 9th among 198 countries worldwide, challenging its political and economical situation. In this paper, I will explain Turkish experience in E-government and its successful effort, showing the advantages, and the challenges it faces to convert to an e-government.

In January 1990, exodus of Kashmiri Pandits which was a small religious minority group in the valley of Kashmir. But unfortunately, they were forcefully uprooted from their homeland: Kashmir. As a result, their houses were burnt, temples were destroyed and hundreds were killed. Therefore, Kashmiri Pandits decided to left the valley and have been living in the refugees campus in different parts of the country, especially in Jammu. A number of measures have been taken by government and also provide support to the troubled families within a immense policy that those who have migrated will someday return to the valley. Government also has been providing relief to those uprooted families of camp and non-camp area in Jammu district who have no source of income after migration. Since then, Kashmiri Pandits have not come back to their home, and for them homecoming is yet a dream. This paper describes the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir valley and various decisions taken by the government for them.

The rapid growth of digital technology has paved the way for many image processing applications and motivated the need for better compression algorithms. Image compression is the technique where the size of an image is minimized by keeping the quality of the image to an acceptable level. The main objective of image compression is to decrease the redundancy of the image, thereby increasing the capacity of storage and efficient transmission. There are different ways in which images can be compressed. The purpose of this paper is to present information about Image Compression Technique. With a basic concept of image compression, an overview of various compression algorithms is presented here.

Abstract :- The ethanol extract of the roots of Cassia auriculata was studied for its nephroprotective activity in cisplatin- and gentamicin-induced renal injury in male albino rats. In the cisplatin model, the extract at doses of 300 and 600 mg/kg body wt. reduced elevated blood urea and serum creatinine and normalized the histopathological changes in the curative regimen. In the gentamicin model, the ethanol extract at a dose of 600 mg/kg body wt. reduced blood urea and serum creatinine effectively in both the curative and the preventive regimen. The extract had a marked nitric oxide free-radical-scavenging effect. The findings suggest that the probable mechanism of nephroprotection by C. auriculata against cisplatin- and gentamicin-induced renal injury could be due to its antioxidant and free-radical-scavenging property.

Abstract: - The present study deals with the seasonal limnological investigation related to physico-chemical characteristics of water of the Maya Sarovar (Bodhgaya Pond) at Bodhgaya, Bihar, India. Besides temperature and meteorological data, 11 limnological parameters were tested following standard methods at 5 sampling sites/stations of the lake. The physico-chemical parameters (pH, DO, BOD, HCO3, TDS, Chloride, Nitrate, TH, Ca, Mg and SO4 etc.) showed distinct variation in thesites. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines an adolescent as any person between ages 10 and 19. An important transitional phase between the growth and development from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents were selected for conducting this study as it is a period where final growth spurt occurs and where changes in physical, biochemical and emotional development is seen. Since food habits adopted during adolescents are likely to be maintained during adulthood, it is important to identify the correlates of adolescent dietary behaviors to prevent adolescent obesity. Objective was to study the frequency consumption of convenience food, purchasing pattern and source of purchase, along with a comparison in 2009 and 2019. The survey was conducted in Mysore (2009) among 260 subjects and among 104 subjects in Bangalore (2019). Both male and female were included between age 14-20years. A detailed questionnaire was used for collecting the data. Results showed that majority (89%) were staying in hostel in 2019 compared to 2009 (23%). Food pattern was almost similar being non-vegetarians. Convenience food consumption showed, tea/coffee was used daily and no change was observed, soft drinks was consumed fortnightly. There was increase in alcohol consumption in a decade. Fresh fruit-juice was used fairly. Bakery stuff remained the same which was used weekly. Similarly, chocolates were consumed every-day. The weekly consumption of chats (masala-puri, pani-puri, churmuri) had increased from 2009 to 2019. Chips which is supposed to be a favorite snack among youngsters was consumed by majority of subjects which didnt change. There was an increase in fried-food consumption with average 90%. Consumption of fast-food like noodles and gobi - manchurian was reduced from weekly (50% average) to monthly. Pizza and burger were used fortnightly in 2009 but it had gone down to monthly in 2019. It was important to know the source of purchase of these foods which showed that maximum 91% was from bakeries and then was snack bar (79%) respectively. Very limited subjects used supermarkets and restaurants. But 52% still preferred home food. It was observed that in 2019 maximum expenditure was >500rs per month and 42% had an expense of 50-100rs per day indicating an increase in purchasing power. Thus it was observed that adolescents are more prone to eating outside rather than consuming a proper, healthy and nutritious food which seemed to remain and few had an increase since a decade. Food choices of adolescents have become increasingly unhealthy placing them at increased risk of malnutrition and chronic diseases in the future. Hence adolescents need encouragement and guidance for developing a habit of healthy eating. Teachers and parents can play a major role in bringing a positive and healthy change among adolescents.

Abstract-With the increase in the evolution of technology, the likelihood of occurrence of various natural and man-made calamities have also drastically risen. Forest fires have become a prominent disaster in recent times. Forest fires not only destroy animal life and vegetation but also affect the overall groundwork of a community. Global warming and climate change have resulted in a spike in the forest fire occurrences over the globe. Forest fires are gaining a lot of attention due to the large-scale destruction that they cause worldwide. Pollution is a subsequent product of forest fires and will directly contribute to the overall deteriorating climate crisis. As of now there isn't any standard fire warning system being implemented for early detection of forest fires. Hence the warning message to fire rescue authorities are often long delayed. Various methods such as sensing the fire using fire sensor, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) and satellite-based techniques have been experimented on, previously. We propose a Technique where a classification-based algorithm is used for the detection of forest fires and it is implemented in the following stages. Initially the model is trained on CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) classification algorithm. Background subtraction method is applied to the frames extracted from the video, to detect the region that contains movement. Color detection is then performed on the specific frames. The trained model is then utilized to predict the fire and non-fire probabilities.

In 2014, India banned the testing of cosmetic products on animals, becoming the first South-Asian country to do so. In 2016, the Indian Mica industry came into the limelight for employing children as young as 5 years old, in the mica mining industry. Several big cosmetic giants like Estee Lauder, Unilever, Procter, and Gamble were found sourcing mica from these mines. This gave rise to a new label called Ethical Makeup. However, there are no laws yet that require ethical sourcing of ingredients, making companies cruel towards their employees or the environment. Through this research, the level of awareness of Indian Consumers about cruelty-free, ethical, vegan cosmetics, and their likeliness to shift towards newer, ethical cosmetic brands was aimed to be established. After studying 309 respondents, it was found that 52.4% of the respondents had no clue that the brands they currently used tested on animals and/or were unethical. This proved that an average Indian Consumer has little to zero levels of awareness about the dark secrets of the cosmetic industry. However, not everything is disheartening as 67% of the respondents strongly believed they would shift towards ethical cosmetics while 12.6% were neutral about it.
